Dr. Lise Lacasse, 1993 This physician had plead guilty to a charge of criminal fraud relating to improper billing of Medicare. She had been sentenced to 30 days in jail. The physician further plead guilty to a charge of professional misconduct before the College. As a consequence of the guilty plea, the Council ordered that her license to practise medicine be suspended for a period of six months, but such sentence to be suspended until and if there is a further finding of professional misconduct within the next five years.

Dr. Lacasse is an excellent doctor. I am always pleased to find out that she will be the one on call when I go to the clinic on Mountain Road. I've seen her many times for myself or my daughters and I was very satisfied. She takes the time to listen to what you have to say and sent my daughter for testing when necessary. I would recommend this doctor to anyone!!

Dr. Lacasse has been my wife's family doctor for more than 15 years and she is very satisfied with the service and care she has received from her over the years. She has had several health problems over the years (some very serious), and Dr.Lacasse was always on top of things, referring her to specialists and sheduling all the required tests. A lot of the people commenting on this site remind me of some people who go yo Emergency and figure that they should be first in line, just because...as for waiting 30 minutes in a doctor's office, it seems to be the norm, welcome to Canada's health care system.

Dr. Lacasse is very straightforward and to the point. She diagnosed a skin problem that I had correctly while a skin specialist missed it. All doctors make mistakes. All we can hope for is that we are not one of them. Remember that not all of our doctors placed first in their class. Dr. Lacasse has been very professional with me and my family. I thank her.

She is not a warm and fuzzy Dr. which is why I decided to leave and find another one but I think she is a very good Dr... just needs work in the people skills. She's still my mom's Dr. and I'm very happy about that since she's taken very good care of her.

Twice in the past while seeing her at the clinic Louis Bourque she misdiagnosed sinus infections and prescribed pain killers (222) instead of antibiotics to both my parents. I have heard nothing but bad things about this doctor, even a complaint to the NB Medical Board about her misdiagnosing 2 other individuals I know (one involved a benign tumor in the head) and she's still practicing...This is why I avoid Clinic Louis Bourque for an after hours emergency medical clinic for my 2 very young children. I will never let her treat my husband, myself, my children or a loved one.

Very straightforward, but takes the time to explain stuff to you. You can tell she is in a hurry, but she will answer all your questions without making you feel too rushed.

On occasion she has told me I was full of s--t and she was dead on. Yes she is direct and to the point She has been my doctor for 15 years and I would not change for any other doctor. She is great. I you can ear the truth go see one of those new age crystal ball readers they are very good at telling you what you want to ear. Has for being late if you have a doctor who is not, he or she is not taking care of there patients as they should.

I went to see this so called doctor at the clinic once and told her I might have a fever, she didn't even check my temperature and told me I was fine. She made me feel like I was only there for fun and I was wasting her time. When I asked her if she thought I would be feeling better to go to work the next day she snapped at me and told me that if she would write a note for everybody that had the flu the whole city would be off work...I didn't even mentionned a dr's note, I just wanted to know if I would feel any better the next day. I would not recommend this doctor to my worst ennemy she is very unprofessional and extremely rude. She should definitely change career or maybe change her attitude.

She has been my family doctor for 13 years and has never let leave her office without insuring that a follow-up would be made. She is to the point with her comments, but I personally feel that more doctors should be like that. She cares about your well being and when there is a need for furtther consultation she will send you on to a specialist immediately.

I brought my 4 year old son (who is afraid of doctors) to the clinic for a rash he had. He started crying when she asked him to open his mouth, so she forced him on his back without warning and opened his mouth for him while he was screaming and crying. When she was done, his nose started bleeding, so she looked at him and said: "See, it's all done so you cried for nothing, and because you're crying your nose is bleeding!!!" She gave us a kleenex and left us there! It took me 30 minutes to calm him down and to stop the bleeding, while nobody came to see if he was ok!!!!! She is very rude and always late. I'll lever let her near my kid again!

I have had this doctor for 14 years and have always received appropriate treatment from her. However, I will say that I always go to my doctor well-informed and this, I believe, helps my doctor resolve my medical issue effectively and efficiently.

after reading all the comments, i wonder if she's only nice to her patients at her office, not at the after hour clinic, i call and if it's her i say no tks. i hope she takes the time to read this and change her ways, if she cares, but she won't treat my family like this anymore, if ever and hope to god we won't have her again, i will tell her how i feel right in her face, but i try to stay away from her cause you never know what can happened.

MON CONJOINT A ETE VU PAR CE MEDECIN LORS D'UNE VISITE A LA CLINIQUE. JE DOIS DIRE QUE JE N'AI PAS DU TOUT ETEE IMPRESIONNER. CE MD. N'A VRAIMENT PAS UNE BONNE APPROCHE AVEC LES PATIENTS. ELLE N'ECOUTE PAS CE QU'ON LUI DIT ET ELLE EST TRES BRUSQUE. She has been my doctor for 5 years now. She is direct and to the point. You may have to wait a bit in the waiting room, but once you're in to see her, she takes the time YOU need. She answers all my questions. She is excellent with my daughter and has always been! My mother and my sister both go to her, and we are all very pleased with this doctor.

I worked for this so called doctor and I would'nt let her treat my dog....let alone anyone...period...Very unprofessional....rude... No manner whatsoever... a crook.....Stay away for your own good!

I only had one visit with this doctor but it was enough for me to make the decision that if I wanted to keep living, I needed to stay away from this doctor. She kept arguing with me that it was impossible for me to be allergic to these two medications. Needless to say I did not have the prescription,she gave, filled out. P.S. Still allergic to these two medications!

very scary too see her because 3 times she prescribed me exacly what I am allergic to. what is that???? she doesn't even take 2 seconds out of her precious time too read the little mini chart they have at the walk in clinic that is why I always make a point not to go when she is there, and besides she is always so late anyways so what is the point??? wouldn't even bring my dog to her

My husband is a patient of Dr. Lacasse. He has been in several times to see her, mainly sinus , congestion. Her suggestion, nose spray after nose spray and "change your profession" My husband works with wood and stains, which can be irritating, but that would be the last resort. It's not as easily done as it is said. No further testing, etc, to come up with alternative solutions. Speaking of changing professions, ....ever think of becoming a typist Dr. Lacasse??

this doctor should loose her license, cause i have no idea why she is a doctor, i could do a better job than her. she is not pleasant at all. if it's her at the clinic, i would not go even do i'm so sick cause why bother, she's not going to give you the right medicine anyway, and laughed at you cause you are there. hope the authority reads this and get her out of there, before someone dies because of her. she's careless human being. she needs professional help.

I have seen this doctor a few times at the clinic. Once was for a problem with my hands and she looked at me like I had three heads when telling me what I had. She has no personality and she should think that we wouldnt be there if we didnt have to go. I will not go to the clinic when I ask and she is there.

Went to see this doctor at a Clinic for a sinus infection and she asked me who I worked for, when I told her, she told me that I was stressed out and I was on the verge of a burnout. She had me go see my doctor. When I got in to see my doctor a couple of days later, she treated me for my sinus infection...I knew that I wasn't stressed out!

She's been my doctor for a very long time. She's very knowledgeable, she knows how to take good care of you, but will tell you as it is. So it's up to you to listen to her and stay in good health or see a nice soft doctor who will tell you what you want to hear and have all kinds of health complication.

I've had to go to her a couple of times at the clinic. Now when I make an appt. I ask who is working, and if she's there, I will try and wait til the next day or call another clinic. She is not approachable. Very ruff. Went in once for strep, thought she was going puncture my throat when she put the swab in. And as some have said, can you call her a doctor.

always disapointed when I have to go to the clinic and see that she is the one working that night or weekend because we all know that it will be a very long wait since she is so slow and behind. You can tell she really hates her job and doesn't want to be doing the clinic at all she even mentioned it once to me that she didn't like it and I am not even one of her patient. I wouldn't want her as my doctor that's for sure. Makes you really feel like you are bothering her and she doesn't like it

Dr. Lacasse have been my doctor since I moved in Moncton almost 14 years ago..When I look at certain comments I just wonder if those persons came to see a doctor or figured they were going to see God for a miracle. A doctor is a human being and they don't have all the answers, they are not specialists. Dr.LaCasse is very professional and those who don't like it, very direct, she call a spade a spade and that's what I like about her. If she's got a doubt about anything she will refer to a specialist right away. Medecine is trade and those who practices it are also there to makes money so don't expect that every time we go see a doctor that we will find a friend, a psycologist,or a shoulder to lean on. She's a very good doctor,very honest and it take time to develop some kind of friendship and be at ease with your doctor. If doctor's were God nobody will died.

8am appointment. dr. shows @ 8:30am. i'm never told what i have. some remedies don't work. one ailment per visit. will not phone test result even when they are good.

My daughter went to see her for a throat and ear infection and she never even checked her out...she asked her if she had insurance and my daughter said no, so she said i can't do very much for you, gave her a prescription and sent her on her way. We didn't even bother having it filled cause she was the poorest excuse for a Dr we have ever seen.
