Dahan was my doctor after I moved here. For some reason, I always went to an after hour clinic for a second opinion. I never felt at ease with him... just something about him that I couldn't trust! While I was under his care, he changed offices 3 or 4 times. I thought that was odd... why would a doctor move so much!? Also, I tried getting an appointment when I had a bad sinus infection and I could never get one soon enough so I ended up in clinics instead. After 31 days on antibiotics, I finally could get an appointment but his receptionnist was not professional at all about it (when I said that I had been on meds for 31 days and wanted to see MY doctor). She said that I didn't try hard enough. After that appointment, I started looking for a new doctor. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone!!! He doesn't care about his patients' problems AT ALL!!!!! He shouldn't practice medecine!

I was shocked last week when i went in for my appointment at 10am, I was 15 minutes early and i waited for my turn...after being there an hour i asked the receptionnist how much longer would it be as i had another previously booked appt for 11am to and if it was going to be longer i'd have to leave without seeing him. She made it a point to advise me that if i left i'd be billed $50 for an office visit even if i didn't see him as i was taking up someone else's place. I was shocked and upset by this comment and made sure to tell her so.i couldn't believe after waiting an hour that she said that to me...in the way she did. How unacceptable of them to bill people like that, i mean don't they make enough money as it is?? What i dont' understand is if you booked me for 10 am and the other 8 people in the waiting room for 10am as well how are you going to see us all for 10am...not to mention that every few minutes after 10am a few more peole would join us waiting for the dr..what gives?

Dr. Dahan is a fine doctor. He has been my family doctor for over 3 years now. He has always been concerned about pleasing his patients and having an accessible office. He is prompt with his diagnosis and is very thorough in his office visits. I know of more than one person that he has saved as a result of his extensive medical knowledge and his sharp asessment skills. My children really like him too. Excellent bedside manner. I don't get these people who are only out to critisize. I think that Dr. Dahan deserves to get a lot more credit.

Dr. Dahan should not be practicing medicine. He is highly incompetent. I have never encountered such incompetency from anyone, let alone your own family doctor. He has wrongly diagnosed my daughter and I due to the fact that he will not perform a physical. He diagnosed a rash on my face from across his desk which, of course, was wrong. He has also sent me to the wrong specialist because of his failure to do an exam. During one appointment, he became so frustrated that he showed me a medical book and told me to "point" to where I was having "problems". I am a female, by the way. The final straw was when he abrubtly discontinued my medication, after 11 years, which put me at risk of seizures among other symptoms. I will be reporting him to the appropriate authorities.

I think a lot of the people on this board are ridiculous. Dr. Dahan has been great, he takes the time needed and he does his investigation when required. He is matter of fact, if he doesnt know the answer, he finds someone that does, that is what makes him a good Dr..

this man just left me while I was still in the hospital, he said he didn't know what was wrong, but he couldn't help me. I almost died because of medical incompetence, I went to him for help. This man should not be practicing.

Dr. Dahan always takes the time to listen. A very knowledgeable docteo. I'm not sure if some of these patients of his have been visting the same doctor as I have been. Dr. Dahan has a genuine nature who is always just looking to help in any way. I have gotten the referrals I need and have friends who are very satisfied with his care as well. Hats off to you Dr. Dahan!

I agree with a lot of the postive and negative comments. He doesn't do a lot of hands on exams - he would rather you sit in front of him and talk - but yet sometimes he doesn't listen. I have been frustrated by him and yet sometimes I'm very pleased with his service. I think he is a painfully shy person overall and if you are someone that he gets to know b/c of a few back to back visits he opens up and when he knows you he is a better doctor. If you go to a doctor once or twice a year he probably won't be the guy you are looking for. I feel he is interested in wellness and is interested in a patients overall health. He is very compassionate to stress related problems - and not just handing over a prescription. If he thinks you need time off he will give it to you. Good doctor to build a relationship with.

Everytime I've been here it's been about the three minutes - he plainly states that you can only deal with one question at a time and need to book multiple apt. It seems to be more about how much he can bill than how the patient is doing. Actively looking for another Dr.

Dr. Dahan used to be my doctor, not once in the 2 years I saw him did he touch me. I asked him if he wanted to check my blood pressure or listen to my heart and breathing(I have asthma) and he said no, it wouldn't be necessary, not even after I went to the hospital with chest pains. Twice I went for an appointment and he never showed up and no followup call from him to rebook or explaination as to why. In my opinion this guy is the worst doctor I have ever been to, quick to give you a script but absolutely no bedside manner and always moving offices.

Little shocked at a few comments left. Dr. Dahan has always been a professional, and listened to my concerns about MY health. I have yearly tests run, and he adds to it anything he feels I should be checked for due to family health problems. He is easy to talk to, and is very knowledgeable, and isnt afraid to double check his resources to insure proper diagnose.I have been a patient of his for 8 years now. Its hard to please everyone, the worst complainers seem to be the unemployeed, the ones that have time to sit and write the negative.. isnt life funny, a Dr dedicated his life to healing and the patient whines and complains all their life about Dr service..

Dr.Dahan was the worst doctor I have ever seen! we only had one hospital visit, and 2 visits at his office and that was enough for us to use the after-hours clinics until we obtained a new family doctor! We definitely felt like a number and not cared for in the manner we expected. He made us feel our concerns were exaggerated and rushed us. We now have a new family doctor, and we are very happy not to have to see this doctor ever again!

PILL PUSHER. Make a comment about a pain & you have a script in your hand before finishing the sentence. Now, he also has a problem with refering patients to specialists. Having moved here from elsewhere and had a previous stomach problem that needed to be followed, he wouldn't refer me out until I demanded & had discussions with the College. I'm presently looking for a different Doctor.

I used to have him as a doctor...i say used cause i don't go see him anymore. i rather go at the after hour clinic, they are more efficient and they are not afraid to look at you and to give you the right diagnosis. no wasting time. I went to see him a couple of times and they only thing that he was telling was " what do you want me to tell you" . what i mean is that we take time to be off work to go see a doctor to get better and the only thing we get is" what do you want me to tell you"? that is not a doctor. A doctor take the time to listen to what you have to say and be ready to help you. I can't wait to have a new doctor (woman if possible) and looking at the moment to see if any doctor takes new patients. i used to go in alone and was being badly treated and asked my boyfriend to me in with me and it seems like he was shine to see another man in the same room as him. To me another doctor that know what they are talking about for our family will be the best gift ever.

I had an unpleasant visit with him where I had multiple issues. We don't always have the chance to see a doctor every two weeks!Anyhow when I tried to ask him about a few different issues his response to me was "We try to keep it to one problem per visit" I find this money driven way or playing with people's health very disgusting!

Dahan used to be my doctor, but after a few cancellations without much prior notice, being rushed trough my consultations, and being prescribed drugs before I even stopped explaining my symptoms, I decided to go somewhere else. I don't really recommend him to anyone.

I went to him when my son was born 3 years ago and he seemed more interested in the medicare $$$ then my son. He booked appt. after appt. after appt. Almost every week. I have 3 other children so I knew that this is not what a doctor does! After about 3 months and 20 appt.'s I found myself another doctor. My other concern(s) are that if I didn't TELL him my child was a boy, he never would have known because not once in 20 appointments did he do any kind of physical exam on him! I also took my daughter to him once and said that "I thought" she might have psoriasis and he didn't even LOOK at her! He just handed over a prescription! I went to another doctor and sure enough, not psoriasis!!! I wouldn't want to be really sick because I don't think this man is going to help you unless YOU have already diagnosed yourself!

He is one of the few doctors existing that doesn’t take over booking with multiple rooms. He takes the time the patient requires. He is an excellent family physician. His knowledge in medicine is very broad and has also a few years of neurosurgery prior choosing to be a family doctor. Thanks to him I and his thoroughness and inquisitive instinct he identified anomalies that were then identified as pre-cancerous. THANKS for life...

I am shocked by some of the other comments! Dr. Dahan is a great doctor! He is very compassionate and he takes the time to really listen. If he is unsure of the diagnosis, he refers to specialists or recommends some tests, such as blood work, CAT scans, MRI, etc. He is very knowledgeable and has really good bedside manners. My whole family is very glad to have him as a family physician! We trust him with our lives!

Probably knowledgeable, but he doesn't say much other than "Anything else?" He never asks for details and is generally a poor communicator. He is also quick to prescribe something, even if he is unsure of the diagnosis. I now use the clinics.

He is a strange doctor. For the many times he has seen me,never once did he take my pulse, check my blood pressure. If I have a sore throat, he never checks. He is a pill doctor more than anything.I think he is scared of touching people. I have talk to a few who has him as a family doctor and they say the same thing. I wish a could find another doctor but I am stuck with him right now. Thank God we have clinics.
