I had a very unsatisfactory experience with Dr. Shauna Maciver. She barely took the time to listen to my concerns and seemed more focused on rushing me out of her office than actually addressing my issues. My appointment was over in less than five minutes, which left me feeling completely unheard and dismissed. It's clear she has little interest in her patients’ problems, and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone looking for thorough and compassionate care.

I have been with Shauna for 27 years she is kind, understanding and goes out oh her way to help. She always has a smile, is very knowledgeable. She listens to you and helps in anyway she can. I would definitely recommend her 100%.

Words cannot describe how amazing Dr Shauna MacIver is. I've been her patient for 17 years and the care I receive is immeasurable. Especially when it comes to my mental health, which a lot of doctors don't seem to be interested in. She is kind, patient, understanding, and most importantly, she listens to your needs and wishes and supports your decisions. Yes you may be in and out fast. She is a doctor, they are all busy! And I've been to her many times that were fast visits, but when I went to her completely in distress. She slowed it down, took her time. She knew that's what was needed. And that is how I know she is just busy, but actually cares.

In this AHS neglect she fulfills my needs been with her for a very long time. She has had problems like most Dr with short supply of Dr so had to manage more patients than she can handle but she attempted to serve the masses the best that she could. People need to see the whole picture before they criticize

Shauna was my doctor for all of my growing-up years, and I had a variety of mental and physical issues throughout (none of which she ever diagnosed, just brushed off as welp, that's life!). I don't recall her being so disengaged, rude, and abrupt until I was a young teen and doing things she likely judged me for. As time wore on, I had extremely traumatic experiences with her. Leaving the room and DOOR OPEN during a pelvic exam, refusing to refer me to a specialist (she was actually offended by this), and continued disregard and dismissal of my frequent health issues. Shauna is the reason I struggle to find support for my chronic illness, be honest with my doctor, and avoid accessing health care all together. I highly recommend you do not use her services.

I have been a patient of hers for at least 23 years. I am so grateful to have her as a doctor to my family of 5. I can usually get in to see her within a week of phoning to book an appointment and even sooner if it is something more concerning. I never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room and she always addresses my concerns or sends me to a specialist that can when she can’t. Thank you Shaunna for always being there for my family and I.

Doesn’t care! My mom came in to her office and given water pills. When in fact She actually had two pulmonary embolism. Ya that’s right , when my mom was there they didn’t even look at her feet which were dangerously swollen. Her eye doctor took and sent her directly to emergency. The incompetence in treatments should be considered a bad joke.

Front staff could use some customer service training. Rude is an understatement. Shauna is very knowledgeable but having switched from another GP to her, she doesn't seem interested in my history. I always feel like I'm trying to plead my case so that she'll pay attention to my concerns. If she doesn't want to talk about something she makes that super clear and we don't talk about it. I'm not a sickly person so absolutely do not go to the doctor if I don't have to. It would be nice to feel comfortable when speaking with my doctor. I am on the fence as to find a new one or not.
