13/06/13 2 1 1 1 Ignorant and arrogant, it was a miracle that my operation was cancel at the last minute. Changing my surgery time three times in a single day with a simple phone call. This guy can't make up his mind or follow his schedule. Moving in and out of the operation room is an extremely scary experience.  Respond

20/04/11 4 5 4 5 I saw Dr. Harris a month ago and when he came into the exam room, he was very pleasant, had a smile on his face. His bedside manner was great and he explained everything that I needed to know about gall bladder removal. Upon leaving he made a comment how great it was to meet me and looks forward to seeing me the end of May.  Respond

22/12/10 1 1 1 1 My wife is in the Medicine Hat hospital for medical investigation. Dr. Brzezinski has been assigned to her. She telephoned me in a very agitated state to say that the doctor had visited her and had been excessively rude. He had no interest in her symptoms and shouted her down whenever she said anything. I have never checked him out on RateMD's before and am horrified to find out his reputation is so poor. I wonder why we have to put up with such an abusive quack? The wonders of socialized medicine!  Respond

08/02/10 1 1 1 1 Was to do my surgery but his attitude in his office left a lot to be desired. He changed his mind after 10 minutes of explaining the procedure. When I asked questions he became very irritated. Glad I chose another surgeon. This guy has a temper and I would not let him touch me.  Respond

07/07/09 1 1 1 1 Do you ever wonder why this guy transferred from up north, because of his poor attitude. I walked out on him and told him to shove his poor attitude. When I had a question for him he snapped at me, I then informed him I would not let him operate on my dog let a lone me. This guy is NOT an asset to Medicine Hat.  Respond

26/02/08 3 2 1 1 This man almostg killed my elderly father-in-law. A gall bladder operation with an overnight in the hospital turned into a 4 month hospital stay including time in the ICU. Also, he had to be transfered to Calgary for awhile. He was full of infection and refused to do anything about it until the family insisted. Why is he still operating on people??  Respond

10/06/07 5 5 5 Dr. Brzezinski is a wonderful surgeon and a wonderful man. He always greets me with a smile. He has performed 4 surgeries on me and myself and my family know he was a large part of saving my life. When I attend at his office his staf are the greatest always smiling and they make me feel they are happy to see me. He is always on time for appointments. Dr. B was straight to the point when I was first diagnosed and his office called for me to bring my husband with me when he said I may have cancer. After my surgery he told myself and my family it didn't look like cancer and I trusted his word. My surgeries were very scary to myself and my family and I required a colostomy after my first surgery which thankfully he reversed after almost a year. He makes me feel safe and has compassion and a great bedise manner. How can you ever thank a doctor that saved your life and helped you through a very bad time?  Respond

04/06/07 5 5 5 I appreciated this doctors honesty and "straight-to-the-point" dispositiong. I'm not one for beating around the bush when my health is at risk. He performed a cholecystectomy on me, to which he did wonders. He checked in on me after surgery, and took very good care of me. I also had a colonoscopy done by him. He was running a bit behind, but took the time to apologize to myself, and explained again what all the procedure entailed! He's always been straight forward, and looks you directly in the eyes when speaking to you. That's what a doctor should be about. His office is fantastic about getting appointments with him quickly, and are very pleasant. I'm not too sure why people need candy-coating on medical advice when they ask for it. If there's something wrong, you need to know, and this doctor tells you like it is. He's gentle when he needs to be, yet VERY efficient! I will definately see this surgeon again!  Respond

28/05/07 3 2 2 This man also operated on me to remove a lump in my neck. He seemed to have no time for me when being in his office and also while being in the operating room. For this being my first surgery I was overwhelmed and he did nothing to make me feel secure with the situation. Thank god for nurses and their ability to ease some of my fears. Would not recommend this physician!  Respond

13/05/07 1 1 1 This man is not very good at all my father had emergency surgery by this man and is was a total nightmare beginning to end. I had to threaten the staff at the hospital before anything was done to help my father when we both knew what was needed but he wouldn't even listen. Ended up with my father in the hospital at least 2 weeks longer then was really needed. Not someone I would even take my dog to.  Respond

03/04/07 2 2 3 This doctor is rude to his patients and refused to speak to family, My elderly mother had surgery by him and she did not understand what had happened after. Our family tried numerous times to talk to him to find out what type of surgery she had and what had occured and he refused to speak to us. We waited in my mother/s room early in the morning so when he did rounds, we could ask him questions. When he found out that we were waiting, he never bothered to even come in the room and see my mother. Apparently, this is common for him.. Try a different surgeon  Respond

24/03/07 5 5 5 My Doctor, Dr M. Glas called Dr B to have perform emergency gall bladder surgery, which he did on a Sunday afternoon. The gall bladder was in terrible condition and he was right on top of it. I could have been very ill after but he did a marvelous job and I appreciated his professional attitude. Even though he was quiet I thought he has a sense of humor if you joked with him. Top Knotch  Respond

13/03/07 5 3 3 He operated on my neck as well to remove a lump. This was about 11 years ago -- and he told me at the time that the scar would be so minimal it would not be noticeable. Well, let me state that the scar remains on my neck and is quite visible. On the upside, he removed the lump from my neck. On the downside, he didn't communicate very well what the scarring would look like.  Respond

12/03/07 5 5 5 I found him very punctual and professional. He determines the situation, explains it well and then does surgery, if necessary. Dr.'B' is mild-mannered, very considerate and aware of his patients' needs.  Respond

14/01/07 5 5 5 This doctor was my doctor in Fort McMurray. He did surgery on my neck to remove a lump. He not only did a fantastic job, but he was very professional about it and didn't waste any time once the lump started to grow. I found him to be very quiet. He knew exactly what he had to do. He saw me in hospital every day during my recovery. Fort McMurray lost a wonderful man once he moved away.  Respond
