My doc since she started. At first was very helpful & compassionate but quickly became overworked and indifferent to my few problems. By her own admission, hates people. Past 5yrs she cuts you off or just does not listen; examinations are nearly non existent. Takes extreme exception to differing opinions from physiotherapists. Bitter hateful woman, she should have left her practice long ago. Has failed to help my minor problems which made them bigger. Can only imagine what would happen with person who is seriously sick, hope they got a referral. Glad yesterday was her last but I hear she will be at after hour clinics. If you find her in one, run! No med. att. would be superior to having her. Part of what she has become results from our screwed up medical system, but in mind that does not excuse her actions. Don’t like the system help fix it, or get the heck out. What a waste of education, who knows what damage she has caused. Ok, got that off my chest, I feel better now, good riddance!

Doesn't seem to care about her patients. I have been going to her for 12 yrs. A few visits she was good, but usually is not. I think she likes dogs more then people, she should have been a vet. She is not easy to talk too, although she does seem to be better with children. I can't wait for the opportunity to change docs. It does take forever to get in. I have a lump on my breast and was told I had to wait 2 weeks or go to the after hours clinic.

I like Pat. Her personality has improved since her hip operation, but I would like to see her boyfriend replaced as her receptionist. He is very cold and uncaring and absolutely will not give you an appt. under any circumstance for at least two weeks, not even for a mere prescription refill. No appts. set aside during the day for an emergency visit. What's the sense of having a Dr. when you are told to go to the After hours Clinic or to Emergency? I would love to be able to change Dr.s, but mostly because of Brian.

I find that you have to wait too long for an appointment and the receiptionist seams to have a care less attitude. If I could find a new doctor I would leave.

It seems impossible to get through to make an appointment, when you do, there is nothing for at least 2 weeks. I now use the after-hours clinics. We are told too many people unnecessarily use the hospital emergency dept., but what are you supposed to do if you have no family physician or one who is never available?

We have had Dr Thomas for years, I used to rave about how fabulous she was. She has too many patients and no time for any of us. I explain what I think the issue is with my health and she prescribes an antibiotic for it. I'm not a Dr.! I would imagine she would be a great Doctor for a hypochondriac. I feel like cattle when I acctually get in for an appointment, hearded in and hearded out. Calling her office is worse than trying to win tickets off a radio station. It's very stressfull.

unable to get in when sick. An appointment is no good if you have to wait two weeks to get to see your doctor .Went to an after hours clinic to be told to get re- check by family doctor within two days but unable to make an appointment ,only in two weeks , sat at emergercy for 4 -hour to be told to go to family doctor . I feel as I don't have a family doctor that I can count on . VERY un happy with the service I have received .

Myself and my two daughters have been patients of Pat's for over 13 years and I have always been impressed with her knowledge and her professionalism. I don't visit her for 'friendship' but for medical reasons and in this she is superb! I don't want to spend 30 minutes discussing the weather, if I'm sick I want her to diagnose me so I can leave and get on with things..have better things to do with my time. For those complaining that she is too abrupt then I say look elsewhere for someone to hold your hand; Pat is there as a family doctor not as a psychiatrist, learn the difference! She's concise, knowledgable and a no-nonsense doctor, you always know where you stand. My two girls are older now and have told me numerous time how wonderful she is with them. She's warm, caring and a fantastic doctor and I dread the day she retires. Keep up the great work Pat, you're the best!

This Dr. is extremely unfriendly. I waited about a half an hour to get in and as soon as she entered she wrote a prescription before hardly glancing at me. I tried to ask her a question at the end of the appointment and she cut me off. She only spent a couple minutes with me and really didn't help at all. I would never go to her again.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas for over 20 years, she delivered my son and I find she is a very good doctor. She always takes the time to listen to an issue I have and has sent to other doctors if it was not her area. She is always accurate in her diagnosis and has made me feel like a person not a number. My son thinks she is the best doctor going.

Dr Thomas was my doctor when I was pregnant with my son. I was on income assistance at the time and suffering from depression. Upon telling me that I was pregnant she asked me if I was planning to abort or put him up for adoption. I was really shocked at that as I had no plans to do either.I felt that she believed that women who were poor and suffered from a mental illness shouldn't have children.

Dr.Thomas has been our family doctor for over 10 years. She has been good to all of us.She never hesitates to send you to a specialist when she feels she cannot provide you with the proper care.It is difficult to get an appointment the last few months because she is cutting back on her office hours. They need to do something about the phone lines...they should be accepting calls whenever the office is open.

I have been a patients of Dr. Thomas for approx 15 yrs and I find her precise in her diagnosis of me and my children, caring, calming and always friendly in her treatment of my family. The new addition to the office Brian is a wonderful secretary and I appreciate his quickness in getting me in when I need to see her. She is loved and respected by me and my family.

My 5 year old grandson had mono (determined at the after hour clinic). His mom tried to get into to see Thomas and had to wait for almost 2 weeks. He had swollen glands and my daughter had a number of questions to ask. Receiption at her office was very nasty as well.

Dr Thomas is a very good Dr. She always takes the time to listen and is thorough in her diagnosis. She never hesitates to refer to a specialist if needed. She has seen me through two pregnancies and is wonderful with my children, they enjoy seeing her, she always ensures that it is a good experience for them.

Dr. Thomas has no bedside manner at all. Most visits I felt I was a bother going in. No friendliness and was so happy to have found another doctor who is more caring and wants to be a medical doctor. She is more interested in getting her coffee than in what concerns patients have.good riddence.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas' for 12 years. She is a wonderful Doctor, she always takes the time to go over any problems I have for myself and my two young children. She is very thorough and will always refer me to a spcecialist when needed. I can usually get in to see her the same day I call if my situation warrants immediate attention. I can always count on her to be upfront and honest with me. She doesn't try to avoid my questions, always gives me a straight answer. I recommend her to anyone!!

Dr.Thomas is a fine Doctor.I've been one of her MANY patients for a number of years. She always takes the time to listen and responds to any questions I may have. She has referred me to specialists when needed and without hesitation. When I make an appointment I usually tell Brian what I need to see her for, especially if it's for more then one thing. That way he can book enough time for my concerns. Some of you might want to try that.If she seems "rushed" she no doubt is. Dr. Thomas doesn't have time to hold your hands if that's what you're looking for.Have you any idea how many patients she has? Don't blame her. Blame our wonderful politicians for our wonderful health care system and lack of Doctors in our Province. And by the way, her new "secretary", Brian is doing a fabulous job also.

Pat has been my family doctor for 17 years. I have had 2 children with her. When you have a problem, Pat is informative, quick, and there for you. I am not the type to go to the doctor for nothing - maybe she knows that. she has always been great with me and my family. She is not much of a chit chater, but I have seen some of her more personal side from time to time and I respect her for the great doctor that she is.

She is very rushed, as soon as she walks into the exam room I feel like she is trying to push me out the door. I had an appt scheduled for my newborn's 1 month check-up and when I showed up at the office it was closed. The message on the phone said that the office was closed for the week. I did not get a phone call to advise me of this or to re-schedule. I guess that's what happens when the Doctor's boyfriend is the receptionist. I'm trying to get a new doctor.

I changed Dr's. I did not like the treatment I got with her. She would be writing a perscription before I even sat down. Did not want to listen or talk about symptons. Very cold and rushed. Terrible experience. I got the impression it was more about money and how many people she could rush through in a day. Misdiagnosed myself and my sister. If she would not listen or ask about symptoms how could I trust the diagnosis???

I have had Dr Thomas for over 20 years. She may not have the best bedside manner however, I feel confident in her. She is also very good at giving you a referral should you need or want one. She is also NOT a pill pusher. It would be nice though if you could get through on the phone a little easier to avoid going to the clinics.

I've been going to Pat for over 20 years. I'm used to her curt bedside matter. Service has gone downhill dramatically. If you are lucky enough to get through the phone lines that only accept calls for two hours in the morning then you are made to wait two weeks for an appointment. The flu or ear infection is usually gone by then. We go to clinics as much as possible now. We'd change doctors if we could.

I used to find Pat very aloof, no bedside manner, but in the last couple of years she has warmed up considerably. I have found her "relief" Dr.'s to be of more help and more knowledgeable in diagnosing a problem. I would change Dr.'s if it wasn't so hard to find another one.

De Thomas is 1 of 2 Moncton area doctors who does Flight medicals. I visited here for my medical and she was on time, efficient, detailed, thorough and helpful. I found her knowledgeable and considerate. She was pleasant. After the medical it has to be sent to Transport Canada in Ottawa and that was done very quickly because I have already received a report from Ottawa. I would recommend her for medicals for flight medicals and probably other medical necessities.
