05/08/09 4 4 5 5 I have been seeing Dr. Morrison for several years and consider her to be a God send in regard to resolving my health issues. She has always dealt with my lung issues and any other health issue that may cause my lung issue to get worst. She has also always been able to get me very quick appointments with other specialists when required. I feel very lucky that Dr. Morrison what the specialist I got when sent by my family doctor. I have a friend who sees another specialist who is not making very much headway in resolving her health issues who was fornunate to have Dr. Morrison as a specialist while she was in the Hospital for a short time. My friend felt that Dr. Morrison resolved more of her lung issues in that period than her specialist has in more than a year. I find her and her staff knowledgeable and also very courteous.  Respond

14/01/07 2 1 1 Waited nine months in for my appointment. When my appointment date finally arrived, she asked, "Why are you here?" She refused to treat me as a CF patient despite specialised testing showing that I had cystic fibrosis. Refusing to listen to her neurology colleagues. They all insisted that I did not have a neuromuscular disease. She even wanted to take me off my CF meds and O2 and told me that I instead had a muscle disease again completely ruled out by neurologists. She insisted that I would have to come in the hospital for all of my care even though I have received home care for years to receive IV antibiotics. Being at home is much safer for people with CF/bronchiectasis. We are less likely to be exposed to hospital germs detrimental to our lung disease. After the first appointment I was disheartened and vowed never to go back. My muscles remain strong - it was not a muscle disease - but I do now need a lung transplant for severe bronchiectasis and now need 02 24/7.  See Responses
