Still walking with pain and experiencing numbness 1 1/2 years after knee surgery. Dr. O'Brien didn't take my concerns seriously in the months following surgery, insisting that I was healing up great, when I was unable to resume normal activity. I have met several other people in town who have had similar unsuccessful experiences with Dr. O'Brien. I would never let him touch my knee again. Two thumbs way down and only one leg working.

Dr. Obrien worked on my knee 3 times and was awesome. He helped out alot and knew what he was doing. Awesome Doc! Oh... and hes hot :)

GREAT DOCTOR HAS OPERATED ON BOTH SHOULDERS AND IS MONITORING MY RECENTLY DISLOCATED AND FRACTURED ELBOW. SHOULDERS STILL WORK GREAT AND ELBOW IS ON ITS WAY TO RECOVERY.

Excellent orthopedic surgeon and I found he treated me with utmost consideration. He was also warm, friendly and very personable towards me, (an older woman) and towards other patients I saw him interact with. I liked his work and his bedside manner.

5 weeks into acl reconstruction and doing GREAT. What an awesome doctor..not too hard to look at either ;)

I had Dr. O'Brien do surgery on my left shoulder back in December of 2004 while he was in Abbotsford. I Wish he was still here I would go back to him in a minute, to do my other rotor-cuff on the right shoulder. I even thought of commuting to Vernon. You won't find a better, more caring surgeon in my estimation.

Best Dr./Surgeon I have ever encountered. Very pesonable, courteous and an enormous addition to the Vernon area. Had surgery with him very sympathetic and undertanding. Highly recomended.

really like how fast he was getting me in to see him and how he made every effort to make sure that i did not have to wait for surgery

My first experience with surgery and he made sure I felt comfortable by fully explaining the procedure days in the days before and again right before surgery. Then he came to visit me in recovery/day care and made sure I was all right. I saw him numerous more times for check ups and now I have my knee back, just the way it was before. He's an excellent physician and I would recommend him to anyone.
