:( Click to report rating    11/29/08 2 1 1 Dr. O'Hanley was the worst doctor I've ever seen. Brutally ignorant, he argued with me about what was broken. He told me that I didn't have a broken shoulder, (which I did) and only after arguing with him did he send me for X-rays. And didn't call me to tell me that it was broken. He knew that I had a broken ankle, and told me to stay off it at work. Another intern suggested taking a couple of weeks off, but seemed nervous that O'Hanley would be angry. (I wish I remembered the other doctor's name - he was awesome) When I returned for a doctor's note, he asked if I knew that my shoulder was broken. He didn't submit my medical forms. Do I wish this doctor would retire, or get hit by a car and meet his twin in Emerg? _YES! Perhaps then other patients wouldn't have to put up with his poor standard of care.

:) Click to report rating    10/23/08 5 4 5 I am new to NB and have to use the walk in clinics. Dr. O'Hanely is very knowledgeable, if I could have him for my GP.

:( Click to report rating    9/21/08 5 5 1 I had facial pain (unexplained), and told the doctor this. You'd think he would maybe refer me for an xray, or better a CT? No, let's prescribe you something to sleep. Endocet. I later, in a drugged out state, read about this drug and realize it is highly addictive. This isn't a candy store sir, and you didn't do your investigation.

:) Click to report rating    3/26/08 5 5 5 Dr. O'Hanley is an excellent ER dr! I had some issues with my heart and he took great care to do all tests possible and monitored me for several hours. He read all of the results to me and explained everything completely! I think he is an excellent doctor and feel at ease when I find out he is treating me at the ER.

:( Click to report rating    8/29/07 1 1 1 This Goof thinks he is god and couldn't be bothered by your issues. This guy should be a pathologist where he could bury his mistakes!!!

:( Click to report rating    8/5/07 1 1 1 Had a miscarriage in 1996.Dr.O'Hanley could "not find my cervix" and hurt me badly.Funny I have had no problems in 30 years for pap tests. Also acted as if my miscarriage was a blessing.I refuse him in Emerg. now.I will never let him touch my family.

:( Click to report rating    3/2/07 3 1 This doctor was extremely ignorant to my daughter and mother and father(who are seniors and he told them to "fly away" when he was done with them. My daughter had her cast removed and the cast man told her she would need another cast but when the doctor looked at her he told her she was fine and to go home. She came home in tears with a thumb she still can't move and it is still swollen. Mabe she doesn't need a cast but if she does he will hear from me. These doctors think they are God. I know there are more important injuries to take care of but she is still a patient and how dare he treat seniors like that, he will be a senior himself someday!!!!

:( Click to report rating    2/22/07 3 2 Very disappointed with my treatment from Dr. O'Hanley a few years ago. I have a severe allergy to apples & on Christmas day, my husband's grandmother decided to 'poison' me & put apple sauce in a turnip caserole she made & refused to tell me what was in it, flat out lied about it having any apple products in it etc. until husband's aunt asked her after we'd all finished eating & then it came out. As it was Christmas day & by this time Shoppers, Staples & everyone else had closed where I could possibly get Benadryl was closed, I was brought to the emergency room. I understand people never hearing about an allergy to apples before, but it is possible to be allergic to _anything_. He flat out told me he didn't believe me and said that the only reason that he was willing to give me Benadryl is because it wouldn't hurt me & was non-narcotic. Yes, I'm a closet Benadryl addict, and I really needed to get my fix on Christmas day. Give me a break!

:| Click to report rating    2/3/07 4 2 Saw him in emerge for severe abdominal pain and vomitting. My mother was ther and very concerned. I had lost a lot of weight prior to this and my mother was asking him if my wt loss had to do with the pain. She was very worried. He refused to even look at her or acknowledge that she had a question, despite that she repeated it again. He continued to ignore her, gave me a shot of gravol and sent me home.

:) Click to report rating *  1/31/07 3 5 I have had the pleasure of having this Doctor see me at outpatients on a couple of different occasions and at the after hours clinic. My Doctor is going to retire soon and I'd love to become Dr. O'Hanley's patient, full time. He is caring and knowledgeable. The ER is very lucky to have this Doctor.
