:( Click to report rating    8/6/09 2 2 1 Pompous and controlling -- scarey--my blood sugar readings wnet up to 275 from org 170 when diagnosed with Dia ii. Had me on Avandament. My own doctor calmed me down put me on insulin and blood sugars went down immediately and stayed down. His haughtiness precluded any idea of how I might know my own body as well.

:) Click to report rating    5/10/09 4 5 5 Dr.Albright helped my husband with his diabeties very much, when he first went to him my husband was taking over 100 units of insulin a day, he's now down to 20 units a day. He's very caring and takes his time with you. He's a real good doctor.

:) Click to report rating    7/28/08 3 5 5 Dr Albright is friendly and prepared. I have a complex thyroid disorder and he has been spot on the entire time with it, letting me know treatments and all options. The previous doctors I have seen for this just throw thyroid meds at you and tell you you're fine. Dr Albright went indepth with options and helped me to choose the best course of action, and the end result (Synthroid and Vit D) resulted in me feeling the best I have felt since my thyroid condition developed in my early 20's!

:) Click to report rating    2/7/08 4 4 5 I have found this Dr to be extremely helpful with my type 2 diabetes control. He has motivated me to change my diet and better control my weight. His course of procedure and choice of medication have greatly improved my condition. I find him to be understandable and willing to discuss my problems in great detail. I have never felt rushed ordismissed in any way. He seems to be a genuinely "good guy" and truly concerned with my welfare.

:( Click to report rating    6/14/07 3 1 Dr. Albright doesn't seem to care about his patients at all. He couldn't remember anything about my case from one visit to the next. He even tried to send me for an MRI I'd already had. He also comes across as a bit pompous.

:) Click to report rating    4/5/07 4 5 Excellent physician. Knows what he is talking about. Motivational and down to earth. I am a physician myself and highly recommend Dr. Albright to my colleagues who need an outstanding Endocrinologist. Office staff can be rude and have an "I don't care" attitude, which easily can turn people away. Have had problems with having to reschedule many appts.

:( Click to report rating    2/7/07 1 1 Dr. Albright's office had me wait 30 minutes to tell me that they would not see me because my insurance did pay part of the bill. The Doctor prescibed anti depressants for me , when I found out by my primary care that it was Thyroid and I just needed sythroid. Primary doctor told me I didn't need antidepressants and to not take them. I am now feeling good on the Thyroid meds. He didn't seem to have time to give a proper diagnosis. After the treatment from the finance person in the office I changed to a different endocrinologist. Had wonderful success. Would not recommend this office.

:) Click to report rating    1/12/07 5 4 He seems nice & Knowledgeable. He is the kind of doctor that wants complete control. Not my kind of doc. I have had diabetes for 40 years & know something about it & my body. He did not like the fact that I over-rode some of his decisions. He was actually hurt. Nice guy but not for me. You have to keep current records or they give you a hard time about filling your test stips. The office only accepts cash for payment.
