I was so unhappy after leaving her office (in 2005) She basically told me that I did not have a chance conceiving and I should do some expensive test and isolated my husbands sperm, etc. I went to another doctor that put me on glucophage and I had my first baby in 2007 and I am now pregnant again. I would not recommend her at all. She is very COLD and seems uncaring.

We went this doctor for a preventive check and for help on pregancy. The doctor had a very quick and simple check and had no information on the strategy to get pregancy, just said, see me in 6 months if you couldn't get pregancy, but asked my wife to do some other tests. My wife was refered to a higher pay rate facility which is not in our core-network (in fact we asked the accountant that if Ins covered in full, she said yes). Then we got a bill and they don't take any of responsibility for their mistaken refering. This clinic won't care the best interest of the patients and the staff was rude during the conversation regarding to the bill.

I should have read these comments before I saw Dr Rothman. I am wondering why is she so cold to some of her patients. My experience with her is that she got angry at me, left me in the office and did not come back. I had pain in my side and did not know what to do. Someone had recommend her to me. I wnet back to see her to follow up. I see her assistant now. The assistant is okay. Dr Rothman is about the 4th GYN I have seen in the 3 years I have been in GA . She is the worst but the others are not much better. Since moving to GA I have spoken to other women about their GYn and most don't have a good relationships with the doctor. These womenI spoke to told me they see the Doctors assistant, nurse practioner.

TAKE NOTE THAT ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE THE SAME DAY OR A DAY APART..... DON"T LET THEM FOOL YOU. Read some of the other sites as well and you will see that there are plenty of bad comments. Wait time over 1 hour then she came in spent more time taking about the dog she in the office then my health concerns. I was told that the dog was a rescue and would only be there for the day. I watched this dog as I was checking out and it was going in and out of the patient rooms. What kind of clean doctor would allow a dog in patient rooms where she is doing procedures. Not so clean if you ask me. When talking about menopause with her all she said is we will take blood then have you come back in a week. Would not even address the main issue for my visit said I would have to come back and pay another copay. Tell me thats not all about money. I have never gone to a doctor that doesn't even address the main issues.. I'll take my blood work and go to someone that will give me answers.

have seen dr. rothman for 8+ yrs. she preformed surgery on me relieving me of extream pain. takes time to explain things to my understanding & answers all question i may have. i also have immune system issues which have nothing to do with my girly parts & she is always checking on those between my visits to her office. she is polite, detail oriented, efficient & i enjoy her sense of humor which many dr's. dont seem to have.

I have been seeing Dr. Rothman for years. She is one of the few doctors that takes the time to listen and discuss all the options. I respect her opinion and have referred family and friends.

I have been seeing Dr. Rothman for about 5 yrs and wouldn't change gyno's for the world! I have recommended her to all of my friends and colleagues. I've never waited for more than 10 minutes. Her staff is efficient and knowledgeable. Every time my insurance changes, I make sure that she's under that plan. She absolutely knows what she's talking about and recommends solutions that fit my lifestyle. She also knows of the latest medical issues and discusses them with you. During the exams, she does an excellent job of distracting you from what you are going through, and is gentle and fast! She takes a "no nonesense" approach that is appreciated by me. I'm 40 and have seen tons of gyno's but she is the best I've ever known. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable and a great doctor!!

I have known Dr. Rothman for over a year now. And, my sister went to her for reproductive help six years ago. Both she and I have found her to be very helpful, genuine and caring. She has a very caring heart and jumps through hoops to help her patients. She has a small staff who knows their stuff, and you don't have to go through all the red tape that you often have to deal with in larger offices. I also like that she is GYN only and I don't have to wait for all the OB patients to be seen. I'd recommend Dr. Rothman to anyone.

I have recommended Paula to everyone that I know. I love her style. She is extremely educated and has a great way about her. I hate that she doesn't deliver anymore because I wanted her to be the one to deliver my children. Love her and love her staff.

I as well wish that I had read these reviews. I thought she was an OK doctor the first time I saw her, but the second visit was another story. She was very short with me like I had made her angry. I walked out of her office with no answers and felt that she thought her time was so valuable that I was wasting it. I made a 9am appointment and wasn''t even seen till after 10 and only got about 8 mins at the most. She was rude and very uncaring. I will not be going back there ever again. I was also very disgusted by the fact that she had 2 cats that were in the office. The nurse was trying to get them around the corner so I would see them and told me they were there for the day, but once againa they were there at the next visit 3 weeks later. What kind of clean doctor would allow animals in her office. I don''t keep them in my own house and I don''t want them in an doctor office either. THATS JUST DIRTY AND UNCLEAN......FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR

This doctor is only out there for money. I walked in as a new patient. After waiting over an hour she walked in, didn''t even listen to what I was saying as she smacked on her gum and then told me I had to have surgery. The surgery she told me to have wouldn''t have even helped me at all. I had never mention heavy periods to her and she told me to have something that was ment to treat heavy bleeding. Someone needs to stop her before she does all these unneed surgerys just to make money.

I WENT TO DR. ROTHMAN FOR A PAP TEST AND FIRST IMPRESSION,WELL IT WAS NOT WELL.SHE WAS SO RUDE AND ACTED LIKE SHE DIDN'T CARE AT ALL.I HAD TO GO BACK FOR A 2ND TIME TO HAVE A BIOPSY AND THE WHOLE TIME I WAS HAVING IT DONE SHE AND THE NURSE WERE GOSSIPING ABOUT A STAFF MEMBER FROM THE OFFICE.SUDDENLY I HEARD A PATIENT COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW UNPROFESSIONAL SHE WAS BECAUSE SHE LEFT THEM IN THE ROOM WITHOUT CHECKING OUT HER PATIENT AND ANSWERING THEIR QUESTIONS.WHILE THIS WAS OCCURING SHE HAD HER ASSISTANT GO TALK TO THE OTHER PATIENT AND I WAS THERE IN THE ROOM WITH HER LEGS SPREAD APART VAGINA EXPOSED WITH LARGE HEAVY INSTRUMENTS HANGING WHILE SHE LISTENED IN THE ROOM. NOT PAYING ANY ATTENTION TO ME AT ALL I FELT LIKE I WAS IN JERRY SPRINGER SHOW OR SOMETHING.NEEDLESS TO SAY AFTER 15 MINUTES OF THE AFTERMATH SHE LEFT AND SAID SHE WOULD COME BACK AND SHE NEVER DID.I DON'T KNOW HOW SHE EVEN BECAME A DR.BEWARE DON'T EVER GO TO HER!

Dr. Rothman SAVED MY LIFE! I had cancer sarcoma/carsonoma, and because of her test, and then referals to Specialists she knew it saved my life. She has stayed in constant contact with me and always asked what the other Drs. told me to see if she thinks it is correct! I will never forget the day she had to tell me I had Uterine Cancer. She got up from the desk, put her arms around me, and CRIED WITH ME! I would certainly call that understanding! She saw to it I had the best ONCOLOGIST in the area, also a Gastrologist, and Breast Oncologist! I have NEVER HAD A DR. WHO CARED SO MUCH! If she moved 1,000 miles away I would make the trip to have her care for me. The way these other people talk they are certainly NOT seeing the same DR. Rothman that I am! Yes, the one in Duluth, GA.

I have been seeing Dr. Rothman for over 10 yrs now. NEVER has she been rude or unprofessional in any way! If anything, she has been the exact opposite. She is the first doctor EVER to give me her home phone number, as well as her cell number, after performing surgery on me (just in case I needed her). Due to the way insurance companies are regulating our doctors' professional opinions, I'm surprised they continue to practice medicine at all. Dr. Rothman is the most competent and professional gynocologist I have ever experienced!

We just moved here from Indiana and I had to find a Gyn doctor fairly quickly with some problems that my daughter was having. I wish we would have read these comments before we had gone to her. She was rude, non-informative and expected my daughter to read pamphlets to learn of her condition. We are switching doctors and I wish I had never taken my daughter there. I hope you read these comments before you make the decision to go. Please do not go to Dr. Rothman.

You know I thought it was just me, but after reading these reviews I now know that is just her way. She is very rude and doesn't listen to her patients concerns, I have been going to her for over a year now and I don't think I will be going back to her for my follow up after reading these reviews. I tried to make it work with her since she removed my cyst and knew about my body and all that is going on inside as far as my chances of having a baby, I think I will search for a new doctor now. She is very mean and have no emotions after finding out I had a cyst I cried and instead of being comforting she asked me what are you crying for!!! she is heartless and I could go on and on about her and I am happy I found this page because I thought maybe she had a problem with just me but its just her way. People bewere of evil, heartless doctor and all these people should guide you in your decision as to go to her. I am now searching for me a new fertility docotor

Dr. Rothman performed a myomectomy on me and I endedup with an infection. She poo-pooed my symptoms and sent me home. Finally, I got antibiotics but it was too late. I was in advanced stage of an infection. A week later, in her office, after calling in EXCRUCIATING pain, she "popped" open my incision. As a result, I am left with the ugliest, most disfiguring scar imaginable. She was RUDE, UNSYMPATHETIC, UNPROFESSIONAL AND OVERALL A TRUE B@!%$!Do NOT use her! I saw Dr. Rothman two months ago. I had missed periods, and several other signs that something was wrong with me. She not only dismissed all my concerns, she also told me that there ws no resaon i should be concern about my fertility although I had been trying for 2 years. She abruptly left me in the room and said she would be back- After a 15 minute wait, I tagge done of the nurses and she explaine dthat Dr. Rothman was done with me....just like that. I went to another Dr, later and was diagnosed with PCOS and fibroids....please do not go to Dr. Rothman. She is very unprofessional and seem to not care about her patient.

moved to georgia about 2 years ago. it is now time to reschedule my yearly exam and I cannot make myself go back to this doctor. I was very uncomfortable with her and chose to continue asking questions trying to feel more comfortable and found her to be condescending and very short and uncaring with her answers. I thought it would be great to talk to a female about menopause and hormone treatment and she made me feel like a fool and that there was nothing to think about. Would not recommend her to anyone.

I had a very bad experience with this doctor! Once that almost cost me my life. I saw her once for an ovarian cyst and was told to wait it out to see if it improved. A few weeks later the pain was unbelivable and I went back in tears. Only to have her look at me and say that there was no way a cyst could be causing me to "act like this". She then told me that she couldn't help me and that I should just go to the emergency room. I did (barely able to drive) and had to have immediate emergency surgery because my ovary had actually twisted on itself. She was rude, uncaring and unprofessional. Please stay away from this doctor!

The first time I saw Dr. Rothman (which has been probably 5 years ago) she was very helpful, took alot of time with me and asked me if there were any medications that I needed as far as depression, sleeping problems, etc. However, after my first visit she has been nothing but hateful and uncaring when I have seen her. I gave her several changes to see if her behavior/attitude would change but everytime that I have seen her in 2006, she was so hateful during the appointment that I was forced to look for another OBG. I have thankfully found someone who is thorough and caring! I have several friends who I referred to Dr. Rothman and none of them returned to her after their first visit because of the same reasons. I would encourage anyone looking for a new OBG to look elsewhere. As you can see by the number of negative remarks on this page that this many women CANNOT be wrong!!!!!

I came to see Dr. Paula several months ago complaining of a pain I was having. This was brushed off by Dr. Rothman as being probably nothing, saying it should go away on it's own. After several weeks of the same pain I went to see another gyno who promptly (and with concern) did an ultrasound. Turns out I had a tumor (the size of a fist) on my ovary. I had surgery the next week to remove it and it was benign, thank god! I'm just glad I went to another doctor that took the time and listened to me and got the issue taken care of. Now I no longer have the pain that I came to Paula with.

I've worked in the med. field for 20yrs +. During this time was fortunate enough to work for Dr. R when she came to GA.Seeing her as a doctor, boss and passionate caregiver to patients stuck with me over the years. I referred my mother to Dr.R where she found issues that ended up with a diagnosis of cancer. I recently needed assist. with fertility,I turned to her. Confused ,worried and heart broken. She immediatley calmed me/husband down,an action plan into play, spent 45 min.with us no rushing and assured me she will do everything she can to help us. Dr. R and her staff have been kind and patient with my 5 million calls a week. I know and feel that as a woman we should be able to articulate what our needs are..Better than anyone. It is our responsibility to ask questions until we get answers about our bodies. Those who are not doing so are at fault and should look in the mirror and work on themselves!! Dr's that are taking care of people do not run on time !! Do your hair appts ???

Dr. Rothman made me very uncomfortable, I had written a problem on the form I was given, and it was not adressed. When I inquired about this, she seemed very angry and left the room telling me to get dressed. She never came back. Finally, I came out of the room and asked the receptionist where I should wait for the doctor to finish speaking with me and she was already in a room with another patient. The receptionist handed me a prescription for bitrh control. I have never felt so unwanted in a doctor's office. Also, there is a $60 fee if you don't show for the appointment because they reserve time just for you. I still had to wait (undressed) for 30 minutes. I feel that Dr. Rothman has lost her passion for healthcare (if she ever had it). I would not reccommend her under and circumstance.

I agree with the other patients. I came in to see Dr. Rothman worried about an issue and she was very short and unconcerned. I wanted to ask her more about her diagnosis and what I was to do afterward, but she never came back in the room after she said I'll be right back. I understand that she was probably really busy, but I just felt like a "number" and a face-less patient when I was there.

i have been a patient for dr. rothmans for several years and find her to be a compitent, informed, compasionet, friendly, attentive doctor with a great sense of humor & have highly recommended her to others. she has done surgery on me and i would not hesitate to have her do surgery again if the situation ever arises. perhaps the unsatisfied patients are not asking her for exactly what they want or need or explaining their symptoms correctly. if a patient has questions or concerns about her diagnosis, treatment or bedside mannor i would suggest the time to address them is when you are in her office & not come home & get on the internet & complain about it as that does not help solve your problem, heal you or answer your questions. i would suggest confronting any doctor in the office whenever there are issues

I came in for a urinary tract infection, but wasn't sure that's what it was, so i just told the nurse I thought I had an infection. When Paula finally came in she was mad at me for not knowing the difference between urinary and vaginal and considering my symptoms, she thought it was urinary. Instead of taking a urine test, though, she took a culture (vaginal) and wrote a perscription for a bacterial vaginitis cream without even testing for the other. She seems to be a very cold, person who does not care about her patients.

I have always liked Dr. Rothman and think she's an excellent physician. I have never waited for long, nor have I found her bedside manner to be any worse than any other doctor.
