I had tummy tuck and lipo on both thighs on Nov. 6. Dr.Backstein gave me his professional opinion on what procedures would give me the outcome I was looking for. He explained in detail about the benefits of tummy tuck over lipo in my case, and made sure I have realistic expectation. He didn't pressure me to have a surgery. He is honest and caring, and he made me feel comfortable as much as he could when removing sutures and draining tubs. Suzy is a very nice, beautiful, and helpful lady. I'm very satisfy with the experience, and I will recommend Dr. Backstein to anyone who are interested in cosmetic surgery.

I have my tummy tuck and breast reduction booked with Dr. Backstein for the end of October. I have been for the consultation and have called the office several times to ask various questions that popped up. They were all answered promptly. Dr. Backstein sat and chatted with me as though I was a friend and not a dollar sign. He was more than thorough with his explanations, he gave me a very realistic outcome and made no superficial promises. I feel 100% comfortable putting my body into his hands. I have complete trust that I will come out exceptionally pleased with my results. I will post after the surgery again!

I had breast implants done by Dr. Backstein 6 days ago, and to say that I am impressed would be a great understatement. There was no bleeding (after the surgery), no bruising, minimal swelling, pain was moderate, etc. What a wonderful job!!! They look great, and very natural...which is a nice surprise :) I was a little bit concerned 4 days ago because one had swelled a little more than the other. He emailed me back and forth until late at night going over all of my questions, and then offered to see me on his day off on a NATIONAL HOLIDAY! He goes above and beyond for his clientelle, he is a wonderful doctor, and knows his field very well. I highly recommend him. P.S. ladies, he's also VERY easy on the eyes ;) nice bonus. I also wanted to mention that Suzie the receptionist is awesome! I had to make special payment arrangements and she was very accomodating. She also calls back usually within an hour! That's rare for any Doctors office that I know. Great job, keep it up!

Had implants done with this dr. Dr. Backstein is a gem. He does not advertise wildly like many money hungry surgeons do but I can guarantee he does better work than them. I work in this industry and have seen the results of many of the "famous" surgeons. He is also honest and easy to talk to. I know several people who have had breasts done by Dr Backstein and we all agree he is the best in the city. We all have the right size choice, hardly visible scars and are all extremely happy.

He was honest and the best doctor I've met to date. His staff the worst you can meet. She's terrible, very rude, she acts like she knows it all.

I had breast implants by Dr.Backstein. Great doctor if you are looking to be treated as a human and not just cha-ching in his bank account.I however did have some complications. Dr. Backstein DID try and help me out to correct it, however, I felt as if he thought I was fine the way I was. This was my money, my body and I am the person who has to live with it. He was not overly keen on re-doing the surgery but he did. This time around I found him far less helpful. Which made me feel like cha-ching in his bank account. I do think he is very knowledgeable and a great person, I just felt a little thrown under the rug round 2. Results of second surgery are successful, but I do feel they could have been better if he had taken more time to address everything more cautiously with me. I DO recommend him and I would and do plan to go back to him.

Had a tummy tuck in 2006, Dr. Backstein is fabulous he explained the entire procedure to me after the first visit I knew this was the surgeon that I wanted to do this procedure. Had complications following the surgery with respect to the healing process, Dr. Backstein was there all the way to assist and reassure me that everything was normal and that I'd be just fine - he was correct, I have never felt better - Iwould highly, highly recommend Dr. Robert Backstein - he is extremely professional.

i only had a consultation with this doctor so far. definitely knowledgeable and very nice. asked me if i had questions unlike dr kesarwani who i also had a consultation with, that never asked me if i had questions (very negative experience) dr backstein is very cute as well!

I was not completely sure of what to expect going into a breast reduction. But and I say BUT, Dr Backstein out did himself with my surgery. They look great! I was told by my peers that they look like implants. I would recommend him to my entire family whom I love and cherish.

the doctor is a really nice and sweat doctor, but his staff, RUDE very RUDE, she thinks she know it all. he is reasonable in price and takes his time to explain, she on the other hand RUDE, its a good thing he is a good dr.Because if not I would have not gone with the surgery due to his RUDE sectary

Dr. Backstein is absolutely fantastic. He is so calm and cordial as well as being an absolute genius when it comes to plastic surgery. He really put me at ease and helped me so much.
