:) Click to report rating *  3/4/09 5 4 5 Dr Bach diagnosed my Lyme Disease when other doctors dismissed me as "crazy" or hypochondriac. I don't mind the long waits in the office as I am given all the time I need when it is my turn. This is a horrible disease, I have been going to Dr. Bach for 10 years after being misdiagnosed by other doctors for about 15 years before that. I surely would not have survived had I not found Dr. Bach. And he does really care.

:) Click to report rating *  2/15/09 5 3 5 Dr.Bach is the true meaning of doctor. I really don't know who all of the others were and what kind of degree they had but it's been one hell of a nightmare. I have been with Dr.Bach for eight months now. When I first came to him I had such excruciating pain and brain fog it was difficult just to drive to my first appointment. Although I know I have a long way to go there is HOPE and a light at the end of the road. Not one of the other so called doctors (and there were many) seemed to care at all. NO diagnosis, but they all got paid! If you are searching for a very kind and caring doctor and you want to GET BETTER go to Dr. Bach. You'll feel fortunate to have him as your doctor! He's brilliant!

:) Click to report rating *  1/20/09 4 3 5 Dr. Bach saved my father's life. He had been misdiagnosed for almost 10 years with everything from chronic fatigue to fibromyalgia. Dr Bach, through his dedication, warmth and knowledge diagnosed and treated him so he was finally able to be out of bed for more than 12-24 hours. I am forever grateful to him. If you have to wait - yes, it is sometimes frustrating - imagine being examined and guided by someone with patience and understanding after being treated like a disposable number for a decade of an undiagnosed and chronic disease. This should hopefully bring some of you more patience. When you need the time, you will in turn get yours. Seek truth though compassion and patience. Best always.

:) Click to report rating *  12/4/08 4 1 4 I was glad to find Dr. Bach. A test by my first GP was negative and he pronounced no Lyme Disease, despite Bell's Palsy symptoms. Another negative test by a second, infectious disease doctor, who concluded Lyme anyway. Although bitten ny a tick four months prior, the "standard" two weeks of antibiotic were prescribed, but symptoms persisted. After further testing, Dr. Bach began long term treatment of the Lyme and other related diseases. He was supportive of my acupuncturist and other doctors. I appreciate his expertise, knowledge, kindness and tenacity in helping me to maintain a normal and productive lifestyle.

:) Click to report rating    10/3/08 3 2 5 Wife would be dead. Was told for 3 years, NO LYME. Told Fybro-Myalgea. THAT Dr., almost killed her. Bach saved her life. Still recovering, and does have long waits. But if NOBODY helps you, and you're told you have ALS, Fybro-Myalgea, or anything else Doctors can't help you with, go see this guy. Despite the wait, if you can be helped he saves you. I saw one patient 12 months ago in a wheel chair, 6 months ago came in with a walker, a month ago came in with a cane! My wife was told she had Fybro-Myal and when her brain function started to fail I went to Bach. In 4 months she was clearly going to live. (we had prepared for the funeral) After a year, she is still sick but has her life back and enjoys her kids and her own active life. I can't speak to other peoples problems, if the medical world screwed you or your loved one, and they clearly will be blind, crippled or dead... go see this guy and live. You can **** and moan like the others once you get your life back.

:) Click to report rating    10/3/08 4 3 5 Dr Bach is an amazing doctor. I'd been to Johns Hopkins, Walter Reed Hosp, to no avail. My eyesight was was going bad fast, my platelets were almost one million (a form of leukemia), all my joints hurt, I lost 2 inches in height, and I had the most horrific redness to my face. I developed high debilitating anxieties. I also looked as if I may die. Dr Bach gave me back 3/4in in height,no redness, no joint pain and platelet are not within normal limits. My eyesight is better and past 2 years had to get less powerful lenses. I have been seeing Dr Bach for 6 years and would not know what I would do without him. I can honestly say I feel GOOD & no anxieties. Tick desease is horrible but Dr Bach knows what he's doing. I may have to wait longer in the waiting room but I don't care. I have never felt so good. It is very important to follow what he says and don't cheat. Tick desease symptoms are slow to come & you must remember that it could take a long time for treatment. I recommend him.

:) Click to report rating    9/30/08 4 3 5 A family member found Dr. Bach.He gave her life back, literally and he is doing the same for us.Bach doesn't accept insurance;more and more Dr.'s are following suit.Submit it yourself! My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's by top physicians at John Hopkins! After 3 visits there have been astounding improvements! I was diagnosed w/ Lyme's after years of ailments. Dr.Bach is extremely knowledgeable on Lyme's. I suggest all u nay sayers do your homework on Lyme's. Contact your local Lyme's support, c the documentary film "Under Our Skin". Contact your state political officials 2 push more research on vacines 4 this debilatating disease that was identified over 30 years ago! The 4 profit drug companies are equally guilty of healthcare costs.Bach does explain 2 patients that ALS,MS, Parkinsonism can have same symptoms as Lyme's.Lab rpts are available to u.Dr B is thorough, we have no problem waiting our turn .Not every Dr is suite 4 every patient. Our deepest gratitude 4 Dr B & Deb!

:) Click to report rating    9/22/08 4 3 5 Dr. Bach is a life saver. I was ill for over 3 years going to countless doctors and countless tests and no one could help me. I finally found the one person who found out what was happening to me. Dr. Bach is very knowledgeable and seeing how he's dealt with this illness personally he's very understanding as well. As far as the waiting, I find it theraputic being able to sit in a room full of patients who share their stories and what Dr. Bach has done for them. I hear it first hand from the patients themselves. There is no better way to know you are in the right place then seeing yourself go from utter pain every day to having days pain free and enjoying life again. I am still on the road to recovery but Dr. Bach is honest in telling you it is a long road in dealing with this dreadful disease. Maybe if there were more doctors like Dr. Bach his waiting time wouldn't have to be so long...he's the only doctor I trust concerning treatment of this disease.

:) Click to report rating    9/15/08 5 4 5 20 doctors and 5 top hospitals(which included the Mayo Clinic)didn't diagnose me. A nurse told me it was Lyme Disease. I searched the Lyme network and made a phone call to a lady(another nurse)who directed me to Dr.Bach. Dr.Bach treated her whole family and got all of them well again. To both nurses I will forever be grateful. He is a brilliant doctor and I am finally seeing a light at the end of this very dark road. He treats you with respect and talks to you like a human being. I am starting to get my life back thanks to Dr.Bach. His wife has the same compassion as she too has suffered from Lyme Disease. Go to a screening of the documentary "Under Our Skin",this might explain all of the negative comments on this site. I believe they're Bogus! The wait time can be a little long as each case is complex, but you too will be treated with care and concern. I am so grateful to have found Dr.Bach, I truly don't know where I'd be without him.

:) Click to report rating    9/11/08 4 3 5 I have been going to Dr. Bach for 3 years and he has given me my life back. I was misdiagnosed and mistreated for many years, and 4 months after beginning antibiotic treatment I no longer needed any pain medication. No matter what my problem is, he knows a solution, probably because he and his wife have Lyme also and he has treated many patients. While waiting for my appointment I talk to the other Lyme patients and I have yet to talk with one who has not had improvement. We all think he has or is improving our lives.

:) Click to report rating    9/9/08 5 4 5 After being treated by my family doctor for Lyme using the standard 21 day treatment with antibiotics this disease returned a year latter when I suffered loss of sight in my left eye. I then sought out a professional Lyme disease doctor and found Dr. Bach. He worked me into his busy schedule within a week, identified that I still had Lyme and began treatment, within a few days my sight returned. After a year of treatment I feel great, am able to see and suffer no effects from this dibilitating disease. Most visits I'm out of the office within one hour, when I'm not I realize he has worked in another desperate patient who is worse off than I am and needs treatment immediately. Dr Bach has been very helpful in helping me understand this disease and its treatment and is an expert in Lyme diagnosis and treatment. I have been blessed to find him.

:|      8/11/08 1 1 2 I went to him several years ago. I really needed IV and he kind of drug me along with orals and shots for awhile and it never hit my brain. I could no longer afford this man, so I found someone to do IV and I made much more improvement. The testing-- I always wondered about. I lost my life savings. I used to be scared when he would come in the room with needles. I mean who was this guy I was letting shoot me with stuff. I was desperate and so sick. Office management is awful. Wife is no asset. She is too rude to work with people. I think he knows Lyme, but he is overcharging his patients terribly, which makes you question his compassion. There is no excuse for the long waits. An hour is understandable--but all night is RIDICULOUS. He is paranoid and if he gets suspicious--he tries to drop you. Insurance companies don't want to cover his treatments; you pay the cash and fight them on your own--and lose. He taught me, diagnosed me, and made me poor. It was a hell time.

:( Click to report rating    5/24/08 1 1 1 This man is a nut case. He diagnosed me with lyme without any blood work. Gave me a shot of bicillin when I told him I was allergic. I had to wait 5+ hours each time in his waiting room one time with a family of 8 children eating dinner on the floor. I went into a severe herx initially (couldn't swallow) and his office was closed with no emergency contact. The message said for emergency's go to your local er. Cute how would I explain the antibiotics I was on. He does not allow for spouses to come with you into the exam room. I was so brain fogged I needed my husband there. This man told me I should be in a hospital if I was that fogged. He cleary does not understand lyme fog. He also accused me of trying to get disability. I have no idea where that came from. I left in tears. Don't waste your time nor money on this one. Other llmd's won't even work with him. The man does not deserve the right to be called a dr.

:(      4/9/08 1 1 1 I saw Dr. Bach for over 4 years (1998-2001). Trouble was that there was NO one else educated in the area of Lyme disease, and I was seriously dying from it. I feel very sad that I stayed with him for so long. His office is horrible and his wife who answers the phone, is even worse. My average wait time (I HAD to go at least once a month per their rules) was at least 4 hours, and that was for an appointment I had always made a month in advance. Never, never any apologies, just rudeness. And let me tell you, I am the nicest person you will ever meet. I have since moved away from PA, and far away from all those terrible ticks. But even after being on antibitics (IV and orals) I am still dealing with many of the chronic symptoms. I HIGHLY suggest, if you have insurance, visiting the Tick Borne Disease Center of SE PA -Dr. Leonard Schuchman in Chadds Ford, PA (intersection of 202 and Route 1). This office accepts insurance and were able to get me on the IV antibiotics I needed. God bless.

:| Click to report rating    1/1/08 1 1 1 I saw Dr Bach a few times in late 2000. Everything was poor except the fact that he properly diagnosed my Lyme Disease. After complaining about how shoddy the office was run, I was "kicked out". I switched to a doctor closer to home who could manage his appointments on time and who continued with the antibiotic treatments. I am now very good, I think all Lyme is gone.

:(      12/4/07 1 1 1 99 percent of his patients have been found to have lyme. Question him and you will find yourself with a threatining letter. Truly this man needs to be investigated by real doctors. Profit appears to be the motivating factor.

:(      8/16/07 1 1 1 Dr. Bach made us wait for up to 6 hours for scheduled visits, and gave us false information about the relationship between ALS and Lyme disease. He basically believes that ALS doesn't exist, and all cases of it are untreated Lyme. He is taking advantage of ALS patients by letting them believe that Lyme treatment will cure them, when in most cases, it won't.

:(      8/14/07 1 1 1 Most upsetting, worst office visit experience of my life!!! Waited 5 hours on a Friday evening to be seen. At 11:00 pm, receptionist/dr.'s wife saw that I was struggling to walk to the exam room, told Bach I must be faking as she had seen me do some light yoga stretches earlier. Bach then refused to see me--wouldn't let me explain that my fatigue causes neurological weakness in my legs, making it nearly impossible to walk. I was incredibly confused and upset--crying from his lack of professionalism and lack of compassion. He/she also wouldn't listen to my boyfriend as he tried to explain. He later called my previous lyme doctor and told her I was faking my symptoms (without even examining me!!) Other people waiting in the office said that 4 - 5 hour waits were normal. Also, they messed up our first attempt at an appointment--we drove 3 hours there just to find they were closed. His wife was very abrasive and condemning. Don't go to him--there are several better lyme docs in the area.

:) Click to report rating *  10/18/06 3 5 Dr. Bach saved my life. No other doctor took me seriously about what was wrong, and even after I suspected Lyme, I was given the condenscending attitude from various other doctors that all I needed was to get out and get some fresh air. Nevermind that I bicycled 100 miles a week and took a yearly long distance bicycle trip (300 plus miles) If It wasn't for Dr. Bach I would have be dead a long time ago. That's all I, my husband and my baby son care about.

:(      10/17/06 1 1 doctor is a scam-morgellons patients beware. he is not a doctor who care as advertised. be prepared to drive a long ride for a big disappointmment. it's not a clinic of doctors to help you. it is a small house not a clincic like they tell you, it's a crime that they acn charge 2,000 plus for an initial visit and not do anything for you, they say it's abuliding of doctors from all specialties, and a lab, and a pharmacy, and it;s none of that. i went there for hope for a cure or help and understanding form someone in the medical community finally and all i got was scammed.my appt was susposed to be 5 hrs, after 2 hrs of waiting i tired to get some info but the one way glass to the nurse was locked and when he did come to the window and i asked when i was going to be seen. the very rude man told me he couldn't answer any of my?'s and i had to leave then when i said what are you talking about he yelled ge the fu-- out. pls help me. out of room of words here

:) Click to report rating    8/29/06 1 5 Dr. Bach may have his quirks, but he saved my husband's life. My husband was diagnosed with ALS by three separate specialists; Dr. Berta Bergia (world renowned neurologist), Duke University and the Carolinas ALS Institute (Dx was PLS). He was in a wheelchair and could barely dress himself. Now he is out of the wheelchair and working on his car when he is able to. He has a positive Lyme test from Igenex and Medical Diagnostics Laboratory, proving that his ALS/PLS Dx was wrong. He would have died at least three years ago, but no continues to show improvement. Worth a long wait in the waiting room, in my opinion.

:) Click to report rating    7/23/06 1 5 Dr. Bach is a valuable port in the storm of Lyme disease. I found him very compassionate and knowledgable. That's not to say that I totally agree with some of his assessments concerning the time I contracted the disease. I find the charges a little prohibitive, but given the mysterious struggles given the establiched standards of treatment between Lyme doctors, the general medical community , and medical state boards, which is nothing but political in my opinion, and money, it is understandable.

:(      7/20/06 1 1 Dr. Bach does have very long waiting periods but that is nothing compared to the rest of my griefs. He is known among many other local doctors as a scam artist. He uses a lab called Bowen in Florida that is not even approved to do labwork on humans. I can't say too much or he will sue me. Don't be fooled by this very clever "doctor". I was charged nearly $5000 for just one initial appointment. If you have any questions or comments about Bach please email me at Conrad_3013@hotmail.com. I like to hear from other patients.

:( Click to report rating    7/3/06 1 2 It was not unusual to wait more than 3 hours after your appointment time to see the doctor. He was not forthright in his expalnations. He was not available when you would call from home and never called back.
