Dr. Dercken is the best Dr. I ever had!! I was put on a waiting list and she was worth the wait!! I trust her completely with my health. She actually listens to what I say and I never feel rushed or that my issues are not important. I dont think there is anything I cant discuss with her. Finally!!! When I talk about a female issue I don get a blank look. I recommend her to anyone looking for a Dr.

I have been sick for a while now and she called me into her office to try to get me into a specialist sooner than the specialist office has me booked. She is the best doctor anyone could ask for! She is so caring and knows what she is talking about and if she doesn't know then she finds out!

Good for general medical concerns but for acute or out of the ordinary concerns I would prefer to see a specialist.I have been hospitalized acutely ill from an error which may not have occurred with a more experienced doctor . She is friendly,but does belittle ,and brushes off patient concerns far too quickly.

Unfortunately while Dr Judy can be a very good doctor, she has taken on way to many people and now to get an appt. one must wait more than a week. Where she used to see a patient within 15 minutes now one waits easily an hour. She used to care I suspect now it is all about the almighty dollar. So what happens if I am actually sick?

Might be a good Dr for some things but shouldn't deal with Peds or Maternity issues. She treated me like a total dolt when I knew what was wrong. Wouldn't listen and made me doubt myself. Because of her lack of care, I almost ended up hospitalized within 48 hours of seeing her with what I KNEW was wrong with me.

I have to say I would never visit this doctor again. I saw her in emergency one day last year, my son was very sick and I was in and out of emergency every second day. She told me that I was an over-reactive mother and that I was under medicating him. A few days later I saw a pediatrician in Prince George, who diagnosed my son with a very rare and serious disease. Dr Dercksen just pushed me out of the hospital. If I ever got her in emergency again, I would ask for someone else.

I have a number of chronic conditions and have been receiving treament from Dr. Dercksen for 5 years or so. She is thorough, considerate, respectful, bright and cheerful. Has referred me to many specialist, considerable testing and she has used the results of testing to my advantage. I am in better health now then when I first went to see here. My medications have been reduced and I feel energetic. I find her excellent. The best doctor I have seen in many a year.

This Dr is judgemental. I saw her once and because I am adopted and proud of it she belittled me and would not help me until I found out my medical background and had a battery of tests. Because of the way she made me feel and the uncaring of the problem at hand I would never go to her again and would not recommend her.

Likes to diagnose more on the mental side of things. She likes to think things for mentally wrong instead of actually thinking it could be something physically medically wrong.

Dr. Judy is a wonderful doctor. She takes time to listen and really discover the problem. She continues to dig until she gets an answer then addresses that answer until the problem is dealt with. She never makes you feel like you are bothering her or wasting her time and can usually fit you in same day if it is a big concern for you. A real great doctor in these times of 'everything in a rush'

Great doc! Being a doctor is a career like you or I have one. Because of this, in more cases than not, you get a doctor that treats their exam room like it's on a conveyer belt. "Have a problem? Take this pill. Next!" It's become acceptable and expected and it's disturbing. Judy isn't like that. Sure she has her good and bad days, as we all do, but ultimately she cares about the health of her patients, realizes her limitations and seeks the advise of specialists when needed. She has a terrific sense of humor and we spar often when she's giving me hell for doing something stupid. What's most impressive about Judy is that each of her patients is unique and rarely is the answer in the bottom of pill bottle. Sure sometimes you got a bit of a wait but I'd take that anyday over sitting on that conveyer belt....."Next!"

A wonderful doctor, I see her regular and she respects my opinions. My daughter loves going there. We have seen her in the old clinic and had to wait, now that she has her own clinic the wait time is nothing. The atmosphere is clean and friendly. It is like sitting at home, nice and cozy. Would recommend her to anyone.

Judy is a fantastic doctor. When I first started seeing her after my other doctor left town she started treating me for things that should have been dealt with years ago! I feel better now than I have in years! She sends you to a specialist as soon as you need to go and she does her best to get you in to the specialist fast if need be. She is the best doctor that this town has ever had!! I don't even mind waiting for a bit to see her, she is well worth the wait!

We seem to get alot of bad doctors here in Quesnel and when you find a good one you keep her. Doctor D has been our family doctor for awhile now and she always seems really glad to see us and I can always get in to see her right away if I need to.I may have to wait for a bit in the office but I know she is giving that person her full time and will do the same for me when it`s my turn. I had a recent bad scare and she was great. In no time I was given a clean bill of health. My boys just love her and I never have to fight to get them in there.She has even got my shy one to open up to her. Doctor D is a keeper.

She is the pits.. not only do you have to sit for hours to ee here cuse she takes so long.. she has no idea how to be a good Dr. She never sends you to see a specialist , and when I had my child.. she didn't even check him out and I asked her to have my son circumsized and she yelled at me in front of the nursing staff.. telling me how cruel I would be to have him done.. how I was a bad mother before I even started to mother him.. I was beside myself, crying... it was so bad that they called the department head and he came to see me about her. to this day I will not go and see her EVER AGAIN

Dr. D is very caring, competent and professional. She never hesitates to send you to a specialist if she is in doubt about anything. She practises preventive medicine!

Very thorough. Makes wide use of laboratory diagnostic testing. Keeps up to date, very cautious when prescribing medications. Absolutely the best Doctor we have ever encountered.
