Doctor Tom McGarry is a very qualified and skillful physician. This docotor goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure adequate medical care is provided to his patient. Trepassey and the surrounding area has been blessed during the past 30 years to have a family physician who is so dedicated and admired. I wish him well and as a patient of his, I want to offer a special thank you for your professional and dedicated care.

I've never met the man, but if you meet a patient of his and the topic of doctors come up you will know that Dr McGarry is their doctor because they will go on and on about how great he is and how they travel from one end of the southern shore to the other to see him and no one but him

the BEST DOCTOR anyone can ever have not only is he there for medical reasons but as your friend also.you can talk to him about any of your problems and help you in any way.I know of him to get upset if he sent you to the hospital and you were sent back well he will send you back again until you get the care you need.he is not only our doctor in Trepassey but all around the surrounding area's.everyone should be so blessed to have him

Dr.McGarry was my family physician when I was growing up. Both myself and my sister will never go to him again. I had a lot of pain around my knees when I was in junior high, he gave me a note to get out of gym, and never looked into it (turns out I have a kneecap problem, which my new doctor diagnosed immediately). I went to see him when I had ALL the symptoms of appendicitis (I didn't know at the time that they were symptoms of appendicitis), and he sent me home with suppositories. (I couldn't even stand up because of the pain.) I went to him another time when I was having pains in my left side for a long time. He sent me for an ultrasound (to check for ovarian cysts)... nothing showed up. I found out from my new doctor, several months later, that it was my COLON that was causing the pain. He stitched a cut once, & did such a poor job that the scar is huge and hideous (my appendectomy scar is smaller). He is always in a rush & is very rough.

I AM A CCU NURSE IN ST. JOHN'S AND I HAVE CARED FOR MANY PEOPLE THAT THIS MAN HAS TREATED. THEY ARE REALLY LUCKY TO HAVE SOMEONE SO READILY AVAILABLE WHEN NEEDED.

Dr. McGarry has been my doctor for the last 20+ years and has helped me though VERY difficult times. Not only have I always been diagnosed CORRECTLY, but my little baby was released from the hostipal with an infection that only Dr.McGarry found. Because of the time and care he took(and always takes) my baby is happy and with us. I will never have a bad word to say about this doctor, nor should anyone else. He is the definition of a GREAT DOCTOR, a doctor all other doctors should strive to be like. My family will always be blissed to have you.

Dr. McGarry is a Saint. Not only is he caring and thoughtful, he will spend the time needed to find the problem (why he is not always on time:)) Moreover, he's brilliant- many a doctor outside our community has remarked that he is the best in the province. He is on top of his game. I wouldnt put my life in anyone elses hands. He has the touch of God. It's a privlege to be in his care

I personally have nothing good to say about Dr. McGarry, I went to him and he diagnosed me with the wrong problem, He is not a very clean man and I was not impressed the day I walked into his office. I would personally not recomend him.

Dr. McGarry is an excellent doctor, he doesn't leave any stone unturned. If there is a problem, he will find it or send you on to the right specialist to get to the bottom of it.

Dr,McGArry is one of the most caring and thorough doctors in this province.If you have a problem he will make sure he finds out what is causing it.He does housecalls and is available to you 24 hours a day.We are so fortunate to have him in this area.

I have seen many doctors and never have met one better then McGarry. He is all heart...he never gives up on you. He is one of the most dedicated men I have ever met. Anyone would be lucky to have him...and he will never be replaced with anyone better.

Dr.McGArry is probably the best doctor in NL.We are so fortunate to have him.He made my dads last days as comfortable as he could .He made housecalls in Snowstorms,visited him on Christmas day.He kept us all sane during Dad's illness and death.That was 20 years ago.I was just 18 at the time.Now he treats my family and my daughter just loves him.If she gets sick she always wants to go see Dr.Gary to make her better.I just want to say how grateful we are to have him as our family doctor.

This doctor is of a dying breed - he makes house calls on his weekends! He is responsible for helping my infant son get the treatment he needed for asthma that other doctors would not offer or even talk about because they thought my son was too young to be diagnosed as asthmatic. He is an angel in my eyes!

Probably the best doctor you could ever find and I feel so fortunate to have him as my doctor. Always there when you need him, very knowledgeable,caring ,always a smile on his face and always takes the time to listen. Very quick to get you into see a specialist if needed. An overall excellent doctor.

A prince among men. He's a saviour to our little village down on the Avalon. You can't find a better medical man in Newfoundland. He's was written up in the newspaper in St. John's. He's even been taken out to a Soviet ship to treat a deathly ill seamen. He's saved more than one life. We'd be in a sad state without him.

Dependable..always there when needed.Friendly...Caring..a doctor who loves his job...greets patients with a smile. Most knowledgeable...always up to date on new drugs and methods.On call 24/7/365...doesnt get much better than that. Dedicated.
