I have been her patient for 21 years. I would have it no other way. She quite literally saved my life 12 years ago despite multiple trips to Emergency departments in the city and having been turned away, she was the only one who took the time to listen and look. If I had not seen her that day, I would likely have died. She sees many patients in the run of a day, but I find that even if she is rushed, she is never abrupt or impatient. Definitely one of the best family physicians around. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Halley - I just hope she doesn't retire soon!!

Dr.Halley is a sensitive and caring person.She comes right to the point and dispenses excellent advice.She can be abrupt at times,but never dismissive and will go to extremes to treat/cure her patients.All in all a great doctor.

Dr.Halley is number 1 in my books,she is very polite ,and knowledgeable. I have seen her for the past 18 year's, she will go above and beyond her call of duty. She has even called me at home to follow up on my health after surgery. I feel Dr. Halley has helped me alot over the years,and I wish more doctors were as caring and compassionate as she is. S.B. I have been seeing Dr. Halley for 20 years & couldn't imagine going to anyone else!! I've recommended her to many people who have always been very pleased with her as well. She takes the time to get to know her patients & will not rush you out of her office to stay on schedule. Always pleasant, very helpful, considerate & knowledgable. You're not just another patient, she cares about her patients & takes the time to be very thorough. She's the best!!! K. Stephenson, RN

Excellent doctor, caring, considerate, takes her time with each patient. She has been my family doctor for almost 20 years and has been absolutely excellent to both myself, my husband and my two boys. She cared for me throughout my two pregnancies and they were enjoyable experiences. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Halley has been our family doctor now for almost ten years. She is a very patient, courteous and supportive doctor who believes in serving her patients well. Never once have I gone to see her that she hasn't given me or my family her undivided attention. She isn't one of those doctors where you are in and out in a heart beat. Instead, her bedside manner and attitude are to be commended and appluded because "she truly is one of a kind." Particularly now that she has left her old practice on Topsail Road and moved to the Wellness Centre in Mount Pearl. She is much more happier in her job and her demanor shows that. I would recommend her to anyone because if there is a way, she will make it happen. She is the best and Alicia is right up there in the ratings with her! Great job .......

I only saw Dr. Halley twice only because she was related to my ex husband in some way .. I was pregnant and having terrible panic attacks and nausea .. she told me not to be such a baby at eat more crackers ... when I no longer felt fetal movement and knew something was wrong, I asked to have an ultrasound and be referred to a specialist ... she said she knew as much as they did ... I stopped going to her, found another doctor and turns out the baby was already dead ... I never recommended her to anyone ... I found her bedside manner just awful.

Dr. Halley in my opinion is #1. She is very caring and compassionate and has genuine concern for her patients. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. To my surprise will contact patients at home to get an update on their status not only during working hours but weekends too. She also makes arrangements for patients with another doctor if she us going to be out of the province. She is very knowledgable and thorough. I would have no problem recommending this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Halley was my Dr. years ago. I left for 10 years came back and she took me back on as a patient, as well as my husband. She has since become our family physican, including my daughter whom she delivered only a few hours after returning home from her vacation. Never will you meet anyone more thorough. She'll call you at home personally if she has any concerns or questions. Because of her thoroughness you can sometimes be left in the waiting room for a long time (this may have changed since she moved her practice), but the care you receive has always been worth the wait. We have felt so well cared for as her patients. When our twins were born, she came to my home (twice) for post-natal care instead of asking me to come to her office. These are just some examples of the type of care she provides, there are many. Last but not least she is just a very nice, down to earth woman. thanks, Dr. Halley, T.S.

Dr. Halley has been my GP for over 16 years. She is the best in Newfoundland, in my opinion. She is genuinely concerned about my health and even takes the time to get an update on how I am feeling after past visits. I was recommended to a specialist by her for advanced Pap tests and she keeps up to date with my specialist to ensure I am being treated properly. You have one of the best if you have her for a doctor!

Dr. hally is proberly one of the best doctor's in newfoundland..she has been our family's doctor for about 15 years now..and I can't imagine seeing anyone else.

This Wonderful Person has to be without a doubt the best in the business. Very pleasant, likes to cut to the chase to get to the bottom of things. A little impatient at times but she cant be blamed because of hectic workloads. This lady has class and her expertise is second to none. Alot of Newfoundland doctors could learn a thing or two from her in how to be a caring professional and knowledgable Physician. She's Simply The Best There Is Out There. Thanks Doctor Halley. Dr. Halley is the best doctor in st. john's. She is caring, kind, knowledgeable and very professional. I would not think about going to anyone else. She has been my doctor for 15 years and I consider it a privledge to have her for my physician.
