Awesome Family Doctor. I've been a client of his for over 20 years and now that my children are grown with families of their own they are clients of his as well. I have always found Dr. Janes to be kind, caring and patient and has never given me a misdiagnoses. I'd like to thank him for all his years of great care.

My mother was a patient of Dr. Janes. She went to him for years and liked him, but we as a family at times were frustrated with him when he would "put her off" and "downplay" her symptoms. It all came to a head when she went to him with bleeding and he told her that she had hemrroids, without even checking her. Note: He knew she was a cancer patient. Long story made short....we took her to emergency to get her checked out and she ended up having a colonoscopy that very day and found out her cancer was back. A little over a year later she died. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Janes has been my doctor for 25 years. I'd never change. He has never dismissed any of my problems over the years. Always, always, referred me to a specialist if need be. Great doctor!

I am writing on behalf of my husband and myself,our son,his wifeand family and his wives parents who live in Bonavista. We find Dr. Janes to be an a-l doctor who don't stop until he gets to the root of the problem. He cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone. If Dr. Janes is not sure of your problem he will send you to someone who specializes in that problem.

Dr. Janes has been mine and my family's doctor for about 29 years. He has been good to my family and always took the time to get to the problem. He makes you feel comfortable and when he is not sure what the problem is he has no issue with finding out through other sources. He is the best.

Dr. Janes was my Family Dr. for years .Unfortuantly I became ill with a disease that he could not diagnose and started to get somewhat quick with me .I looked for another Dr. and got Diagnosed .He was a big disappointment and I cannot say I would recommend him to anyone .That's my Opinion only

I have known Dr.Janes for 20 years. My children started to go there. His personality has never changed. He is very plesant, always smiling, never rushes you out of his office and always has time to answer your questions. Very knowledgeable, orders appropriate test, gives you lots of info and is very positive. My children love him and I think he has the greatest bed side manner. Hope he never changes.

Excellent doctor, very understanding and caring. Takes time to listen and discuss problems. Both my husband and I have been seeing Dr. Janes for well over 20 years and I hope I never have to change doctors.

Dr Janes was my family doctor for 10yrs, main reasons for visits were usually minor, (colds, sore throats etc.) however after being involved in a vehicle accident...it was determined I had a soft tissue injury, when the pain and fatigue continued for more than 6 mts..he dismissed my symptoms as being 'in my head' and blamed it on work related stress, then "depression", what followed was 2 yrs of antipressants, staring a downward spiral in my health, medeications were changed constantly, my life fell apart..in the end Dr Janes referred me to a psychiatrist..this broke the trust that I had in him & I left...2 mths later another doctor dianosed that I was suffering from a disorder known as Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain Syndrome. It is 9 yrs later. I still have severe symptoms, my life is now some what nomal, but at least I have a doctor who works with me instead of against me..It seemed that Dr Janes was more interested in prescribing pills than investigate what was wrong..

We were one of his first patients after he started practice, nearly 30 years ago, and have found him to be a man who is concerned about each patient and will take the time that is required you to either explain your condition or quell any concerns. Not only has he treated us and our children, but our grandchildren are being seen by him also. I feel that tells the real character and respect that he conveyed towards this man.

I have been going to Dr. Janes for 20yrs. have found him to be av.good Dr. will see his pts. whenever you need to him see may have to wait if no apt.a v.caring Dr.& easy to talk to about any medical problem you may have.

He is such an amazing doctor! I've gone to him my entire life (He even delivered me 22 years ago!). He really knows his stuff, and is very very helpful! He's very comfortable to talk to about absolutely anything, and he's very caring.

Dr. Janes has been my doctor since I was a little girl; 20+ years. He's great! He has never ever given me bad medical advice and he really, really knows his stuff!! He is a very kind and caring person and always makes you feel very comfortable. Like the previous comments have said, he is not only a doctor, but he is also a friend.

Dr. Janes is an Excellent doctor. Always listens and goes above and beyond. I have been seeing him for 20+ years and can't imagine seeing anyone else.

I am Diabetic and find that Dr.Janes is very knowledgeable and helpful. He is not only a Doctor but becomes a friend when it comes to your needs and I think this is extremely important when dealing with a variety of people. I have had my dealings with numerous of Doctors and I believe Dr.Janes is one in a million.
