Dr. Elliott is the best doctor I have ever had. I have been her patient for approximately 5 years. She is very down to earth, cares about her patients and she makes sure you understand her diagnosis. I recently suffered a medical emergency and she was there with me every step of the way. She acted very quickly, and monitored my progress for weeks. She is truly a great doctor. I am very thankful for her!

If you have an urgent medical crisis, Dr. Elliott and her staff will make you wait a week or more for an appointment. Never calls pt back. Says "Go to Emergency room". Staff keep you on hold forever. The whole point of having a family doctor is to AVOID going to the ER. Dr. Elliott clearly does not understand this.

Dr. Elliot is a dedicated, concienious and kind. She listens and answers questions thoughtfully and without judgement. We moved here 3years ago and are so grateful to have such a marvelous doctor. My husband and son also think she is great! In addition she is totally down to earth and if you she does not know the answer to something she does the reasearch. She is also very reassuring. Thanks Dr. Elliot we you are the BEST.

Excellent doctor. She makes you feel comfortable and she really knows what she is talking about. I was lucky enough to hear about her from a nurse that had worked with her before and I'm sure glad I did. Dr. Elliott is the best doctor I have ever found and she really listens when I talk! She's awesome.

Dr. Jackie has been our family doctor for over a year now, so between all of us we've seen her quite a bit. She's excellent - best doctor I've ever had! Super-impressively knowledgeable, very patient and understanding, explains everything to you in layman's terms, and she's great with the kids as well as us adults. Perhaps what I like best is that she's not a "Dr. Pill" who just prescribes something to you and sends you on your way, but rather lets nature take its course if you're not REALLY sick. I had a mild cough; she told me "I could give you a steroid, but you're getting better on your own, so since your body's not 'broke' I don't want to unnecessarily intervene to 'fix it'". I agree with everything good the other people here said about her; chef reccommends! :)

This doctor will not advocate for a patient who needs urgent surgery or needs an urgent diagnostic procedure. She wants well patients and 8-minute visits only. If you are really sick, your chances of getting to see her are very limited. A recent move to a larger facility may account for the fast patient visits and need to see many patients in one hour.

I've been going to Dr. Elliott for a few years now. The staff at her clinic are extremely busy but they are also expanding and are constantly looking at change to improve their services. I would absolutely recommend her. She has been nothing but great to me and I feel like I'm visiting a friend when I have an appointment as she is genuinely concerned about my all around well being.

Dr. Elliott is very friendly and an excellent listener and in my opinion a very competent doctor. My only complaint is it is nearly impossible to get to see her when very sick. Also, her office staff make decisions on the phone that I feel should be the doctor's call, e.g., the doctor cannot see you today as there are no open appointments, if you are that sick go to the Emergency department at the hospital.

Dr. Elliott took a while to warm up to me because I had just moved from another Province and required pain medication for severe chronic pain. Now we trust each other. However, her staff put you on hold forever, it is difficult to get an appointment, and even in a crisis, Dr. Elliott will not return a phone call. Also, she is very rushed.

Dr. Elliott is one of the most respectful doctors I have ever seen. She treats you like you have a say in your care and never pushes her opinion on you or judges. I highly recommend her!!

I hate going to the doctor! But not Dr. Elliot.. She listens to me, makes her recommendations and values my decision. Always friendly, never rushes me. I feel she has my best interests in mind..Also very knowledgeable and reasonable. I have also never had a problem with her staff.

I liked her at first then I found she was rude and short but hey, we all have bad days. She is very good at what she does if you go at the start of her clinic... her office staff are awful. They have zero manners and treat patients horribly. I stopped going to this clinic because her staff are so rude. The office manager is the worst.

Dr. Elliott has been our doctor since they opened the clinic in Airport Heights. She has been great right from the start. She is very easy to talk to, has good people skills and is quite fun. We've never had such a good relationship with a family doctor before. Looking forward to her being the family doctor for our new baby. WB

Dr. Elliott is very comforting and soothing. During a very difficult pregancy she held my hand through the whole thing and greatly lessoned my fears and concerns and was able to help other members of my family. The epitome of professionalism, knowledge and geniume concern for her patients a must have combination with any doctor and she exceeds in all of them.

DrJ is fantastic and I'm very fortunate to have her as my physician. She's respectful, sincere, openly shares her knowledge and opinions. It's great to finally have a doctor who works WITH her patients to make sure that all their needs are met.

I lived in St. John's for 8 months and she was my doctor for the time I was there. I wanted to take her home with me she was so great! She said it was because she hasn't been jaded yet, but with attitude and courteousness that she has, I can't imagine that she'll ever have a problem with that! Be rest assured that you are being treated by a proffessional with Dr. Elliot!

I chuckeld at the comment of one of those rating Mr. Elliott. The person talked about those of us who "know medical stuff". It was funny because an Opthamologist in St. John's accused me, in that accusing tone of "knowing stuff", as if it was a bad thing. Dr. Elliott is every wonderful thing that people have already said about her on this forum. She treated me as an equal and had no airs of superiority at all. She made you feel very well taken care of for sure. A person would be lucky to have her as a family physician.

This doctor is great, she treats her patients as individuals and doesn't act superior, she had previously been a nurse so she knows what its like to have to deal with some doctors. I am really happy to have found such a wonderful doctor. She takes time to explain issues until you understand and never makes you feel rushed during your appointment.

Excellent doctor. She was a nurse so she has respect for other nurses, she also has a excellent personality, very comforting. She goes above and beyond with her knowledge. She is open to suggestions from other doctors and also from her patients (those of us who know medical stuff). She is excellent with children and she really relates to you as a person! i recommend her 100%.
