Dr. Spiro explained fully the procedures he would be doing for breast reconstruction, following my surgery for cancer. He was pleasant and spent plenty of time with me and answered all my questions. His nurse Mary Beth is also great for returning calls, and the office staff - wonderful manner. All were helpful to reassure me, and make a very trying time much more pleasant. Would recommend to anyone needing breast surgery, whether after cancer or augementation/reduction.

3/29/12 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | At age 17 God gave me a beautiful body and now at the age 53 thanks to Dr. Spiro I have a beautiful body once again. 7 years ago I had a breast reduction and tummy tuck to help prevent arthritis back pain. The doctor who preformed the surgery did a horrible job. I felt nothing less then mutilated, and my self esteem was shot. No matter how hard I dieted and worked out at the gym my figure was a nightmare. After discovering Dr. Spiro and seeing what an amazing doctor he is and seeing the miraculous surgeries he had performed, I chose to have him perform a new breast surgery correcting everything that was wrong from my previous surgery. He removed my scars and gave me beautiful even breasts by implants and a lift. He also he performed a un believable tummy tuck and body sculpting. I don't know how I could ever thank Dr. Spiro for the wonderful new level of self esteem and happiness I now have and adore everyday of my life. He did above and beyond my expect ions, he truly is an amazing artist in the plastic surgery field, and besides that, he has a great bedside manner which is very important to me. Dr. Spiro takes all the time that you need with him to explain what he will be doing for your surgery. He is a perfectionist with everything that he does. He takes his time explaining what he will be preforming in surgery, and he makes it all about you. He truly is the best plastic surgeon with a genuine heart. He will take all the time that is needed for you, and will never rush you out of his office. He has a wonderful staff that will make you feel just as comfortable as Dr. Spiro does. | Respond |

After finding out I was BRCA positive, I made the decision to have a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. I felt I looked better after surgery than before. Dr. Spiro was extremely knowledgable and had much experience, so he was able to guide me through all of the decisions I needed to make. He expected nothing less than the best from the hospital staff as well as his own staff while taking care of me. I was made to feel like the top priority at all times. His staff especially is very kind and compassionate. My results were top knotch and my overall experience was wonderful, which leaves me with no regrets for my decisions.

Dr. Spiro reconstructed my entire left breast through a tram flap procedure. As painfully difficult as it is to be diagnosed and treated for breast cancer, I have truly been blessed to have my body restored in such a way that I feel I truly treated cancer. Cancer took a lot away but in the end it gave me so much more. Dr. Spiro is an incredibly talented surgeon who is also a man of integrity and compassion. I would highly recommend Dr. Spiro to anyone who is searching for a perfectionist in the field of platic surgery. | Respond |

After being told by the Chief of Plastic Surgery at another hospital that I would never be symmetrical I almost found it hard to believe Dr. Spiro when he confidently told me the steps required to make me whole again. I feel blessed to have found Dr. Spiro. His skill and talent are beyond words. He and his entire staff are wonderful. Dr. Spiro not only gave me outstanding results, but gave back the sense of normalcy that cancer tried to take away.

1/8/12 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Its been about 4 months now since I had my breast reduction surgery with Dr. Spiro, and I am ecstatic with my results. Its the best decision I have ever made. Before this surgery I had anxiety about getting blood taken, Dr. Spiro was great, he listened to exactly what I wanted and calmed all my fears. In terms of recovery the overall pain was low! I took the actual pain killers for the first two days and then i was on Tylenol. I was out of work by choice for about 2 weeks but I could have for sure gone back a bit earlier. You can do work from home after the first few days, just no heavy lifting. I recommend this surgery and Dr. Spiro 100% if you are uncomfortable with your chest size! Tip: Bring a pillow with you for the car ride home from the hospital, the bumps are a bit uncomfortable, I also found it easier to sleep on the couch for the first couple of nights to prevent me from rolling over! | Respond |

Not only is his work outstanding but Dr. Spiro's efficiently run office was very impressive and appreciated. No other physician seems to be able to schedule appointments appropriately and run on time. Dr. Spiro is clearly the exception in that regard!

I had an abdominal diastastis, 4 hernias, no belly button and a bulge above the belly button making me look pregnant. My body had sustained a substantial amount of damage from pregnancy and I was a mess! As soon as i walked out of my consultation with Dr. Spiro, I knew he was the doctor for me. He explained every detail of what had happened to my body and how he was going to fix it. He left me feeling that he was an artist and a perfectionist, taking great pride in the results of each and every patient. That was the doctor I wanted in the operating room; one that wasn't going to stop until I looked absolutely perfect. And, honestly, that is what I got! I have a flat stomach, a new, cute belly button. I chose Dr. Spiro based on the experiences of a good friend and an acquaintance who both had great results. Dr. Spiro is a very knowledgeable doctor. He is very kind, friendly, and truly cares about his patients.He wants every patient to be as comfortable as possible and really gets to know you as a person. I was nervous going into the surgery and he made sure to calm me down and reassure me that he was going to do the best he could. I am extremely happy with how the surgery turned out and I highly recommend Dr. Spiro!

I am a middle-aged mother of two with the body of a woman in her 20s -- yes, six-pack abs and perky breasts! -- thanks to Dr. Spiro' skillful hand. To say he is a perfectionist is an understatement. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wants to enhance/improve his or her physicial appearance.

I think if people in Beverly Hills knew about Dr. Spiro they would fly to NJ to use him. He is exactly what I was looking for in a surgeon - forward-thinking, genius in his field, artist and sense of humor. I could have gone into NY but I chose Dr. Spiro.

Dr Spiro is a genius who did breast reconstruction after double mastectomy. My other Doctors have been amazed at the wonderful job that he has performed. The mastery of his surgery is truly remarkable. I have tremendous respect for him. There have been other patients that I have become friends with that share my outcome. Either as a reconstruction or a cosmetic reason this is the Doctor to see. I cannot laud him enough for my experience that has helped my recovery. My mother had beast cancer also and was disfigured for the rest of her life. Dr Spiro has spared me from the disfigurement that I was so glad to avoid.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Spiro AND his office staff. He is an incredible surgeon! I had 2 hernias repaired as well as abdominoplasty at the same time... 6 months after the birth of my twins. I saw Dr. Spiro numerous times after surgery for follow-ups and was always treated in a very professional manner by his staff. They were always helpful on the telephone as well. It is now 18 months since my surgery and I look and feel incredible. I (sadly) had my last visit today. Anything I decide to do to my body in the future will be by this doctor. THE BEST!!!

His medical assistant doesn't have experience and not nice with patient, morover, she doesn't report to the doctor about the patient's problems. This person can't work with sick people and their problems after surgery, she is not qualifies for it. Everything what she does makes patient feel worst. After my surgery however,and 3 post op visits later, while never requesting any follow up tests to see where my problem was coming from, he informed me he could not help me. Poor attitude from staff members as well, when I requested information for another physician who is operating to correct damage from my previous surgery. Excellent,beyond words which is very unusual. You are in very capable hands with Dr. Spiro, I would recommend him extremely high! The doctor not only knows his field, he enjoys it and it shows in the results of his work. My consultation was very comfortable and reassuring.
