04/02/11 1 2 4 4 Dr. Griffin is extremely personable and helpful. His only downfall is his availability/punctuality. I have waited over 50 minutes for scheduled appointments o more than one occasion. His staff is absolutely disgraceful: rude, unprofessional, often dispenses fake or erroneous pharmaceutical information. They are extremely inefficient and could easily be replaced by a telephone system.  Respond

01/02/11 3 5 4 5 Good doctor who follow protocol & standard practice.Good communication and easy to talk to. They only negative if there is one: his shedule changes and appointments get cancelled.  Respond

23/11/10 5 1 4 4 Dr.Griffen is a nice doctor when you can actually see him. Example? I have been waiting for two months for blood test results. He constantly cancels appointments. I have made 4 since Sept and all 4 have been cancelled by him. I have even lost 2 sick days at work because the phone call telling me the appointment is cancelled does not come until the morning of the appointment--too late when you work for the school board and your sick day is booked and a sub is already on the way in...... Frustrating. Needless to say, based on this, Dr. Griffen is now officially my former doctor. I am now looking for a new one.  Respond

09/09/10 3 5 5 4 Dr. Griffen came highly recommended. Very patient answering any questions. Difficult booking appointments on short notice, but runs pretty much on schedule when booked, even though I've never felt rushed when I see him.  Respond

26/08/10 3 4 5 5 My wife and I are thoroughly satisfied with Dr Griffin. He is patient and willing to explain things in layman's terms. He pinpointed and successfully treated health issues that had been bothering my wife for some time, which UK doctors had failed to treat, or even diagnose.  Respond

24/03/10 3 4 5 4 I have to take blood thinners and every doctor I have been too has not been able to regulate my INR and wouldn't test me to see if there was something else wrong but he did. I think he is a great dr and have only had him cancel on me once.  Respond

10/12/09 3 1 3 3 Frequently cancelled appointments. His practice, in Berwick at the time, seemed to be an afterthought.  Respond

06/08/09 5 1 5 5 I like this doctor with respect to knowledge, attitude, helpfulness, spending time but he cancels very frequently. I'm very frustrated by that.  Respond

15/07/09 2 1 3 2 I have seen this doctor, maybe 4 times, in less than a year and I have had to reschedule 3 of my appointments because he has been "out sick". His "laid back" attitude seems now like an "I don't give a hoot". Is that an attitude or really good drugs? The poor mark on "not on time" refers to him cancelling appointments. I can get in quickly, once I'm there, is this because he has so few patients? I have to wonder. I'll stay with him for now, but I'm looking.  Respond

21/05/09 3 5 1 4 I work with intellectually disabled adults, and have takin them to see Dr.Griffin in on-call situations. He was quite rude and disrespectful at times. Seems to know his stuff, but sports a poor attitude.  Respond

20/04/09 3 4 4 5 Excellent Doctor: Took time to talk to me. A relief to meet a doctor who was as honest, and knowledable and helpful.  Respond

01/03/09 1 2 3 3 Our experience has not been positive. He frequently cancels appointments and we get the feeling of being rushed through the office. Minimal follow-up on tests and the staff at the clinic are not helpful nor are they particularly friendly. We're changing doctors.  Respond

20/02/09 4 2 3 2 He cancelled a lot of my appointments. When you're pregnant appointments are supposed to be every 4 weeks. A lot of tests are done in specific weeks. When he cancelled my apointments some tests ended up being a bit late. He also had trouble keeping track of my due date. The Dr at IWK had to change it on the file. He also transfered my file to the IWK bit late, they had to "fit me in" with a doctor I had asked not to be assigned to. When my baby did arrive, I decided to change drs.  Respond

08/10/08 2 2 4 4 I personally like this Doctor, I find that many problems are with the support staff he has working with him or for him. They seem very disorganized which this makes it hard for him to have great patient quality control. A Doctor is only as good as the patient and the people he or she surrounds himself with. The clinic is a cold unfriendly atmosphere that could use some cleaning if you are not indeed sick when you go there you might pick up some germ before you leave. Yes he cancels appointments I am not sure why, I am wondering now if he only works part time.  Respond

06/10/08 3 4 4 3 My family liked Dr. Griffin a great deal. Unfortunately, it was difficult to get an appointment with him, and I have never had a doctor cancel appointments as much as he did. It's unfortunate, because we had no qualms about the quality of his care, but we had to find someone else we could count on seeing.  Respond

22/09/08 5 5 5 5 Dr. Griffin used to be my doctor when his practice was in Berwick. He helped me through a really difficult time and i am sad that he moved from the area. He was very kind and patient with me. Keep up the good work!!  Respond

17/09/08 5 5 3 3 great doctor, but he brushed off a few things I asked him about that he should probably have asked me more questions about as it could be a problem.  Respond

15/02/08 5 5 5 5 Dr Griffin has always been on time. He is kind and patient. He listens and puts you at ease. I have never felt jugded or uncomfortable with him. He is the best doctor I have ever had. I recommend him highly.  Respond

06/12/07 5 4 2 4 I walked away from his office feeling worst then I walked in(mentally, same physically)It was take the pills or live with it, I felt that "he would sooner me find a new doctor” that was my feeling when leaving, never offered any alternative, specialist, nothing, so I now live in pain, he could be a great doctor, if only he would show a little more compassion with patients with multi-illnesses, and understand patients who have had bad experiences with other doctors who have used this “try this drug and see what happens method” or doctors who only mask pain and never really fine out what the true problem is. This is my opinion and if and when Dr.Griffin reads this I know will be mad, but I sorry this is how he made me feel. (alone with my mental and physical problems). I do have faith and will see him again,as we are both new to one another  Respond

13/10/07 5 4 5 5 Very very kind and patient. He takes the time to explain things in simple terms, and does not stop trying to fix a problem until you are comfortable with the results. I would recommend him to anyone.  Respond

26/03/07 4 5 5 I found him to be very helpful. I started going to him right after I had my baby I have alot of medical problems and he seems to understand me and makes me feel very comfortable to be there. If he doesn't know something he will tell me and look it up for me. I would tell everyone I know about this doctor and tell them to see him he is wonderful.  Respond

01/03/07 3 5 5 He seems to be a kind gentle person. He seems to really listen. Personally I think that is what makes a great Doctor. He doesn't hurry you that is why I don't mind waiting for him. He is great at explaining in simple terms your diagnosis. I would totally recommend this Doctor. We should have more like him.  Respond
