The waiting area was completely packed and I arrived right on time for my appointment, yet still had to wait one hour. I could see 'Dr.' Rahim quickly walking in and out of each patient room, which I found odd. When I finally saw him, he spent 2 minutes to check me and then tried to walk out to see the next patient. I had to practically force this doctor to stay by asking questions. He gave a diagnosis without even checking all of the affected areas! The one member of the reception staff that dealt with me was rude as well and didn't want to be there. This guy treats his job like a business, seeing as many patients as possible to get paid, while doing a useless job. If you're looking for a good dermatologist, this is not the one. | Respond |

It's true that I've sometimes had to wait an hour for my appointment, but the staff often warns you that you may have to wait if they are fitting you in on a busy day & most specialists have long wait times. I've visited his office for various concerns and he's always been honest about possible results and costs. He's never once pushed me to undergo any procedure. I've had a total of 12 moles removed by him so far (4 on the face) & the results have been amazing - healed in less than 2 weeks; I'd bet a plastic surgeon could not have done better. He's called me personally with test results which is rare - most doctors pass those duties to assistants, who can muddy the waters. I'd have no problem recommending him. | Respond |

4/13/11 | 5 | 3 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Rahim is very approachable, easy to talk to, and always gives thorough/friendly answers. It does seem like he treats a lot of patients and is often late as a result. But, given that many dermatologists in the area are booked a year in advance this is more positive then negative as he gets through many patients quickly and treats/catches potential cancers quicker. Can't argue with that. Overall he is a very good well rounded doctor. | Respond |

He diagnosed my malignant melanoma and arranged to have it removed surgically in two days. Since then he has monitored me regularly checking for any reoccurance. He has taken an interest in my general health and has teamed up with my family physician to make sure all phases of my health are taken care of. The practice is definitely busy, so don't go if you're looking for a two-minute visit. But its worth the wait--he diagnosed me in one glance and it cleared up in four weeks! | Respond |

I flew back and he immediately arrnged for an excision of my melanoma. This is a cancer which could have killed me.Not only that,but he quickly arranged for a wider excision of the cancer, did the appropriate blood tests, order a chest x ray, put me on a follow up appointment and followed me closely.I have the highest esteem for his medical skills and friendly nature.Today I am alive because of his excellent medical skills. | Respond |

While Dr Rahim helped me somewhat with my medical skin condition, he was more interested in selling skin care products and cosmetics. He kept sending me for light treatments which were totally useless, a waste of time and money. Office staff were loud and disorganized, and there was always a long wait time in the office since appointments are overbooked.

He did not bother to explain to me anything but was quick to sell the treatment which I would have to pay for as it is not covered by insuarance. He kept telling his assistant "give her th $ 1640 package". When I asked what that entailed he was not too interested in explaining any of that. He just kept repeating "the $ 1640 package". He's good when he has the time? Thats stupid, who wants to deal with a doctor like that, regardless of what he knows. There are many more other qualified dermatologists out there. I'm tired of waiting and gettings 20 seconds of his time with his foot already out the door 10 seconds into the visit. | Respond | |

In my own personal experience with him, he showed a personal interest in my situation and went far beyond what I expected to try and help me. He never listened to my complain, and he was more interested in selling me creams and medications instead of trating my problems. The visit ended with me buying medications for $250. I felt really cheated, especially when I discouvered that the medications he gave me irritated my skin further and they were not recomended for people with eczema, especially that I mentioned my exzema to him few times but he never listened. He acted more as a salesman than as a doctor. Will never recomend to anybody who needs real help. | Respond | |
