He has class and poise particularly with regards to his Dr to patient rapport! I had an endoscopy on a Thursday afternoon but by later that evening I knew I was experiencing an allergic reaction to the anesthesia a situation I have had prior experiences with since my body does not take too well to anesthesia! Regardless because I have had prior experiences as such I did not panic but rode out the worst of it throughout the night; however the following morning still experiencing many of the same symptoms I felt it best to contact Dr Bank and relay what had occurred! His medical assistant finally called back late afternoon and stated she would let Dr Bank know! She called back and stated she was sending an electronic script to my CVS pharmacy! I asked her to please ask for delivery but she stated it was already sent & could not ask to have it delivered; I told her no worries since my husband upon his return would pick up the script! CVS always sends an alert once the script is ready for pick up! There was none! I called CVS and the assistant to the pharmacist said he would look for it and if need be send it out to me first thing in the AM if my husband was unable to pick it up! Still another few hours passed by and no script update for readiness/pickup! I again contacted the pharmacy who specifically stated she never received a script nor did any other CVS! I had given the precise info to Dr Bank’s medical assistant for address and phone number but no electronic script was ever sent or received! Therefore I called Dr Bank’s answering service about 11:40 PM which is an acceptable time from my stand point since I too am a Dr! According to Dr Levy who was on call he returned my call at 3:00 AM!I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK! Having been up all night I called again after 5:00AM when most Dr’s on call are already making Hospital rounds! This Dr Levy accused my of waking him up! EXCUSE ME?! Then said he did not to know of my medical situation! Pardon me but are there no computers with such pertinent info for Drs on call regarding the office patient’s for this practice? He was extremely rude and condescending which is unacceptable behavior! Then he said to take two different over the counter meds! Well if you do not know my medical situation do not tell me what to take since I am not his guinea pig! He then said if it gets worse to go to the emergency room! I am not an alarmist and do not run to fill a bed in emergency rooms! Plus I am well aware of my medical needs during an allergic reaction! Prior to hanging up he said to call back for Dr Bank at 8 AM which I did! In the meantime it is approaching noon time...no call back, no script, still experiencing allergic reactions perhaps slightly milder but still quite debilitating! Dr abs k’s is wonderful but his medical assistant appears to have been negligent! I would highly unreservedly recommend him but steer clear of Dr Levy...WHAT A NIGHTMARE‼️As my Asian colleagues would say: this man list face with me, lacks professionalism, who spoke nicely to my husband but as an extremely rude individual to me while I spoke to him with the utmost respect! My name: Dr Goldsmith!
