After the Costa was the best doctor that I've had he's helped me so much in the Years I miss him and Tasha dearly I need a new doctor and it's very hard to find very sad that he left his practice Miss dearly

Doctor D’Costa. Helped me beyond measure, before I went in, I had a twitch because of pain and anxiety, he was able to help, and because of his assistance I am able to handle the realities of my life.

Great psychiatrist. I went in to see him while being at the end of my rope. He helped me and I was starting therapy within 48 hours of meeting him. He will never know how thankful I am for having my life back.

Dr D’Costa has helped me in so many ways. He has got my medications to work properly and gives me good advice for other issues also. He teaches as he goes and remembers from one visit to another what we talked about. He has helped change my life for the better. His secretary is amazing and is always open for a good hug when needed. Thank you both for the tireless hours you give for others to move forward in life.

Pill pusher who never actually listens. His receptionist Tasha is a better listener than he is. He is a joke.

He used to be a pretty good doctor I think, he helped me get a diagnosis and he's always been nice. I think Covid slowly broke him, though. These days, it seems he will twist my every word and make me question my own sanity. Incredibly dubious practice. I know its slim pickin' out there but avoid this guy at all costs; don't believe earlier reviews.

I believe he was trying to convince me to commit suicide! I was always usually upbeat on my visits, so I don't know why he'd ask me if I was suicidal on every visit? Every time I would tell him no, and say that I'm too afraid of death to do that, and every time he would say "you just have to realize there's no pain, it's a better place" etc etc.. I was so depressed leaving that place I should have never went in the first place! This is so many years ago, but I just heard a horror story from somebody else about him so I thought I'd look him up and can't believe he was still in business especially hearing what I just heard. Oh, and I don't do drugs but every time I came in he'd ask me if I was on drugs although I told him repeatedly I don't do drugs. But one time I came in when I wasn't very upbeat and he kept telling me you're on drugs and I would tell him I'm not, and he would say well sometimes people are on drugs and they don't know they are.. and the next day he got his secretary to call me and say he's canceling me as a patient... You're a psychiatrist, learn how to read people! I was never suicidal but he kept trying to get me to be! And he'd try to get me to admit I'm in drugs when I wasn't..wow

Was discussing a matter in which a mentally ill neighbour was peeping on and harassing people an my street. I referred to Audrey, whom he claimed was a Satananist.. stared at pictures of "dead people", in reality she had tarot cards, and surrealist art. Same guy trashed my salvidor dali prints and called me a Satanist because of "Dungeons and Dragons" Outta nowhere this D'Costa dummy yells tdat D&D causes schizophrenia. That level of stupidity is truly frightening. One time ONCE one guy who already had schizophrenia played D&D and attacked a guy. Do the math, just ONE case, of the millions who have played D&D for decades? If anything the evidence would express a contra-indication for schizophrenia as the rate of players who develop schizophrenia is far below the average for the gen pop. This guy in diagnosing? Giving advice? Based on a Tom Hanks movie from the 80s? If you or a loved one have been diagnosed or treated by this man. SEEK ANOTHER PHYSICIANS OPINION. I have found that here in Red Deer "fundamentalist Christian" equals "Insanely bad Doctor". But that is purely conjecture. Imagine what Doctors this out of date think when they encounter female whoose controlling/stalking boyfriend has set up her phone to spy on her? I was reading about 10 years ago the symptom of "SOMEONE is spying on me" was no longer going to be included in the DSM is regards to diagnosis of mental illnesses... I can't count the number of times I've personally encountered services and apps meant for parents to keep an eye on their Children's phones, being used by controlling partners. Just imagine the other things this guy doesn't know. I bet he's even less competent that Valmanya. (Literally saw Anton V deny a Diabetic his insulin, a sound diagnostic technique BTW, worsening Diabetes can appear to be quite manic of course. But Anton did so with no blood tests, and no consultation with the patient's regular doctor. Not to mention that it TERRIFIED the patient. a simple "We want to see how your insulin is affecting your mood, don't worry, we will take care of your blood sugar"... Before you read this, did YOU know that was a valid diagnostic technique? I don't understand how these doctors don't need to retake basic tests every few years. D'Costa also told my father that marijuana would make him "hung over" and depressed the "next day". Instead of " smoking it's bad for your old man lungs" which would have been the truth.

Falsely labelled me. Signed papers without actual evidence. Ruining my reputation. Lied against me and is a joke. Allowing my ex boyfriend and best friend to be a serial killer and having sex with dead animals. This Dr is unprofessional and should lose his license immediately. My best friend and exboyfriend is demented as a result ofsevere abuse he endured in the care of his Satanist family. He told me abuse so horrifick no one understands and because those signed false lies and labels against me it is hard for anyone to take me serious. Teena Strang. I'm not who this lying dr says. My friend needs care and help. Someone that cares about humanity and lives people please find me. My friend needs prayer and very real professional help. Because of this Dr humanity is in danger.
