5/3/12 | 5 | 3 | 5 | 5 | I have had Dr.meek for 31 years...as well as all my children have him as well...and I would not have it any other way. I can call if the kids are not feeling good and most of the time they make room for me to take the kids in and does not stop until he finds what is going on....just love him. | Respond |

4/17/11 | 2 | 1 | 3 | 3 | I dont have too many good things about dr meek.the wait time is always too long he seems to be on vacation too much and doesnt seem to try and fix anything (passes the buck) and likes to think everything is in your head i seen him a few times and it was a very unpleasent visit everytime. I do give him credit he will visit his patience in the hospital but not really bedside mannered person.I have seen him a couple times and I had to go to my doctor to get the proper meds I find he pushes the meds he seems to work for the pharmacies and gets a portion of the profits i find. He doesnt seem caring or doesnt seem to want to help which is what out taxes pay for he is a doctor i agree but i wouldnt make him my first choice | Respond |

10/10/09 | 5 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Has been our Family Doctor for 23 years and garners tremendous respect from patients and peers. I feel fortunate to have he and Nurse Barb for care and advice on our Families medical issues. | Respond |

8/30/09 | 4 | 3 | 4 | 5 | The only complaint is he's too concerned about cost to PEI, refusing to provide referrals for generally accepted medical procedures or consultations because of lack of resources. | Respond |

1/7/09 | 5 | 4 | 5 | 5 | He has been my family physician my entire life adn i wouldnt want anyone else looking after my well being. Dr Meek is a great man,I know his entire family and appreciate the fact that I have him as my doctor. There is wait time but thats to be expected with a doctor that tries to treat all of his patients with the same care and couresy. | Respond |

Dr Meek is one of a kind. Attentive, kind, caring and extremely diligent. When unsure, he seeks the appropriate knowledge. He is never defensive when challenged or questioned about treatment or a syndrome. When I was in hospital, he paid unscheduled visits and showed care and concern way beyond would be considered a normal standard. A wonderful man and a consummate professional. What will we do when he retires?

4/12/07 | 4 | 5 | 5 | The only reason he does not get a perfect score is that there are sometimes waits - but that is because he is fitting emergencies in, dealing with issues, etc. I doubt that any of his patients begrudge the time waiting because they know if they call in a crisis they will be slotted in somehow. What truly speaks about his (and his nurse's) incredible skill and dedication is that all of us (his patients) rue the day that he will retire! I consider myself to be very fortunate to have Dr. Meek as my physician. | Respond

4/5/07 | 3 | 5 | 5 | Sometimes there is a wait but I believe this is due to the fact that he is willing to always spend time with you and you never feel rushed. He is very helpful and knowledgeable and if he is not sure is never afraid to refer you on to someone else. He has been our Doctor for Many years and we value his judgement. I would rate him one of the best. | Respond

What more can you say about a great Physican. Our family physican for over 25 years. A truly caring great Doctor who is a credit to his profession, diagnoses the problem, does not medicate unless absolutely necessary, has to find the cause of the medical problem - just what you seek in a Physican - professional, caring, dedicated. Like so many of his patients, I am concerned about what I will do when he retires - they broke the mold when they created this Physican. I am very fortunate to be one of Dr D Meek's and Barbara Gillis's patients!

3/21/07 | 4 | 5 | 5 | I only wish I could rate him higher then the best. I always knew he was a great doctor but after taking my mother to Dr. Naqvi I appreciate Dr Meek even more. He is caring, hard working and very professional. He has a wonderful nurse and receptionist. My fear is that he may retire some day and I end up with someone as bad as Dr Naqvi | Respond

3/13/07 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Meek has been my doctor for the past 25+ years. He is now my wife and children's doctor. Regardless of the time of day he will make the calls and even call you AT HOME!!! If there is an issue that needs to be dealt with he will deal with it on the spot- no delays. Dr. Meek and Nurse Gillis are wonderful people and run a wonderful practice. I most certainly do not look forward to the he retires. I consider myself very lucky in the health care system. | Respond

2/9/07 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Dr Meek is our family doctor, and we are all very pleased with his service. My mother sees him quite regularly. She has always come back from her visits with nothing but high praise for him. He is very sincere (and a Habs fan to boot), and has a comical side to him. I like that. He and his nurse are experts in their field, and do not take their business lightly. They are not a team to "let it go another day". What can be done today will always get done today. This has always been my experience. | Respond

12/24/06 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Meek is a very conscientious and caring Family Physician. He listens, gives complete and thorough examinations as necessary and does not prescribe medications unless necessary and appropriate. His is empathetic and refers to other Physicians when the problem is beyond his sphere of expertise. If you are in hospital he is there at 7am every morning weekends or week days. He has been our family doctor for 30 years now and I hate to think of what we will do when he retires. | Respond |
