21/04/14 5 5 5 5 Dr.Wilcox is simply amazing. I had a breast reduction surgery three weeks ago. He took off almost five pounds from my chest. Not only is the staff ( from reception to nursing) kind, thoughtful and very respectful but Dr. Wilcox is so talented. He did a great job. His bedside manner puts my nerves at ease and he feels like not only my surgeon but my friend. He truly is a gift. He made me feel at ease through the whole process( consultation to my still post op appt's) and even made my husband feel at ease too. Everything was explained to me from the start and any question I have along the way...is always answered. He not only changed me appearance to better my health but he changed my life. He is for sure an angel.

04/02/14 5 5 5 5 I underwent gynecomastia surgery at the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center of Texas several months ago. From the initial consultation to the final follow-up visit, I commend Dr. Wilcox for his patience in answering my questions. The office staff has been all-around friendly and professional. As for the results of my surgery, I believe that this has been one of the best choices I've made for myself. I am glad that I chose Dr. Wilcox since his technique involves going in through small incisions underneath the armpits, resulting in minimal scarring that is mostly hidden. Additionally, there was no drainage tube necessary immediately after surgery. The recovery wasn't anywhere near painful, instead it was more sore than anything. The compression vest is really crucial to a successful recovery. I chose Dr. Wilcox since he does a high volume of these procedures annually, so I was more at ease that he would have the experience to pull off good results. I wish I had done this sooner!  Respond

31/10/12 3 2 1 1 Horrible results... I went for a keliod removed. His fist words yes we can remove this and your to young and pretty to have this on your chest. I was happy to hear the words. Who would not want a nice clean pretty chest. We both had a clear understanding that I would walk away with no scar, not the case. He removed my stitches to early and it cause the scar to separate. I even mention in his office that I thought 2 week was not enough time. A month later went back and mention to him I was not happy with the results and my scar was bigger then it was before. He said give it time it will heal never happen booked another appt and was offer tattooing UMM it was a keliod tattoo’s cause keliods when I said that he just smiled and said well at least the keliod did not come back. Disappointed and they left stitches in my scar so had to go back 2months later for them to remove still didn't get them all and went back for a 3rd time. He’s caring in the beginning but not in the end.  Respond

15/05/12 5 5 5 5 The augmentation another woman mentions, over the muscle - was done for me after a lift. The lift was done first. They were oversized a bit for me, as well. However, I am very pleased with the overall outcome. I have had them for 7 years now and they still look fabulous. I would recommend LISTENING to Dr. Wilcox's recommendations prior to surgery. He tried to talk me out of the second phase - augmentation, although he did do a terrific job, I regret having that done. They do not last forever, and it's $3500 to have them taken out. Get a lift and be happy with that. You clothes will fit better, and as I gained weight, my breasts got even bigger! So I struggle with gaping buttons and finding decently-priced and attractive 34DD bras (Hint: Macy's.) Do not bully your physician into doing exactly what YOU want. If you disagree, then tell them the overall look you want and let them do their job!

10/05/12 3 4 1 1 Dr Wilcox performed my breast augmentation 9 months ago. He put oversized implants over the muscle in replace of doing a lift. The results are horrible, the pain is even worse. He offered to fix them for more money. His words to me were "They look better then they did before" and "at least I left you with options". I found another surgeon to remove them and reconstruct the damage his work did to me. I was recommended to him by a friend who used him and is also dealing with the same issues. I do not recommend this doctor.

08/01/12 5 5 5 5 Dr Wilcox did such a good job on my Mommy Makeover. I really could not be happier. If you are thinking of having surgery, just book a consult with him and check his office out. I swear you will be impressed. I went to 2 drs and he was by far the best choice.

25/11/11 5 5 5 5 Dr Wilcox and his entire staff are top notch. They always answer my questions nicely, explain things so I understand and offer alternatives such as staying overnight. I highly recommend him as a physician and love his work. His staff looks normal and not overdone like other surgeons I went to.

26/04/11 5 5 5 5 Dr. Wilcox and his staff have given me such a great confidence in myself as a woman. The warm, never pressuring manner of Dr. Wilcox's demeanor make him a surgeon that I would recommend to anyone looking to embark on a plastic surgery journey. It's a tough decision, elective surgery, just knowing of the risks and weighing those risks with the benefits. However, I always felt like he had my best interests in mind, and his valuable advice has given me a cute little nose and a lovely enhancement to my breasts. I highly recommend Dr. Wilcox and his staff from knowledge to comfort to his responsible, realistic advice.  Respond

12/08/10 5 5 5 5 I can not say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Wilcox and his staff. They are top of the line and treat their patients like family. I cannot believe anyone would say anything different. I am 45 and had 3 procedures done at once. I could not be any happier with the results. The Dr. spends time with you to explain what is going to happen, how you will feel after, what to do in order to get best results and listens to anything you want to say or ask. He is amazing. His recovery nurses were amazing and so kind and patient when getting you ready to leave after you are all ready to go home. They help you and treat you like family again. His nurse Yvette that I saw for follow up appt was the absolute best. She makes the perfect team with Dr. Wilcox. I only saw him be gracious and kind to all of his staff and always made sure I was comfortable and happy with results. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them except everyone should give him a try. You will be glad  Respond

02/07/10 1 1 1 1 I had rhinoplasty and breast augmentation, I only wanted a little bump filed from my nose...very minimal. In the middle of the surgery he though he would redo my whole nose breaking it and making my nostrils smaller, I look nothing like I used to and that is NOT what I wanted. Not only that but now I have sinus problems and he said it takes years for the nose to go to normal after rhinoplasty, what a coincidence he said to wait 2 years and then after I did and I still have a constant runny nose I found out you can't file a law suit after 2 years. He knew he messed up and was just covering his behind. He also left my boobs wrong, and I have symastia now (when the boobs create a uniboob because of the doctor cutting too much tissue in the middle) he blamed it on my small frame, when in reality there are many petite women with D and DD boobs who don't have to deal with a uniboob like I do with my C sized breasts. He was SO rude and insensitive. BEWARE!

17/04/10 5 5 5 5 I was referred to Dr. Wilcox by my dermatologist to have a melanoma removed from my arm. Dr. Wilcox' office accommodated me quickly and the surgery was performed on an out patient basis. Facing a cancer is very scary and I found Dr. Wilcox to be both competent and caring. I couldn't be more pleased with both my care and the results of my surgery.

12/04/10 5 5 5 5 A great big thank you to Dr. Wilcox and his staff. I have used Dr. Wilcox's office for years for Botox. His staff,Trudi in specific, is the BEST! Mary did my most recent injections and she was just as gentle and pain-free as Trudi; I enjoyed the exact wrinkle-free, but natural, results. Thank you! I would highly recommend Dr. Wilcox and his staff.  Respond

09/04/10 5 5 5 5 I have told all my friends and family what a wonderful job Dr. Wilcox did on my eye lid surgery. I had a grape size cyst removed above my eye on the lid and you cannot even see the scar now and it has been 5 months. He was willing to answere all my questions and put my mind at ease when I was worried about going under. I would HIGHLY recommend this doctor!

08/04/10 5 5 5 5 Dr. Wilcox and his staff were simply the BEST!!! I had both a face lift and tummy tuck...and, although, the procedures were done at different times, my experience and results far exceeded my expectations. After many years of trying to lose the baby fat (literally) from having full term twins, I now have my flat tummy back. My eyes are not tired looking anymore and although I'll never have a long swan neck, after Dr. Wilcox worked on mine, it's now smooth and tight. I am so,so,so happy with the care and attention I got. I will recommend this Doctor and his staff always.

17/02/10 1 1 2 2 I had a breast reduction last year. It was the WORST thing I have ever done! My breasts are so uneven. My left breast is DEFORMED! It has pink splotches and I can't even see the nipple anymore. He had no other explanation other than "poor circulation." He got upset when I questioned it further. I felt like I had to just take what I got and had to shut up! I did this to feel normal again but now feel more UGLY than I did before. At least before, my breasts looked like breasts. I am so ANGRY for choosing him as my Doctor. Please research your Doctors before you do something so PERMANENT!

16/01/10 1 2 1 1 I cannot and will not recommend Dr. Wilcox based on unsatisfactory treatment results following a surgery 5 years ago. I am hideously scarred both physically and emotionally by the horrors of that surgery up to and including this very day. I've not forgotten anything that happened, though I wish I could!  Respond

24/07/09 5 5 5 5 I had both a breast augmentation and tummy tuck by Dr.Wilcox about 1 year ago. I am very happy w/the results. My only complaint was the nurse who stayed w/me overnight. She was mad at me b/c I kept vomiting..like I could control that! I was very clear with both Dr.Wilcox and the Anesthesiologist that I have an adverse reaction to anesthesia and they needed to treat accordingly. I guess they forgot to tell the nightshift nursing staff! :-) Overall, I received great treatment by a very knowledgeable staff.  Respond

22/07/09 5 5 5 5 Dr Wilcox was the best. I do not understand these negative reviews at all andhave a hard timing believing them. His staff was so great with me and I had a Tummy Tuck and stayed over night. He could not have been more charming, talented, kind to my nervous (waiting husband) and I kick myself for not doing this sooner. I am 45 and feel 18 again with this flat tummy and I just can't say enough about this Dr and practice. I went to 5 consultations with other DRs around Plano/Dallas (yes--5!!) and I knew after 5 minutes he was the most qualified. I looked up his records, he is totally clean, went to UT Southwestern, is double board certified and has such a beautiful office........I thought I was in someone's house it is decorated so well. Botom line is ---Dr Wilcox was great and I would send anyone in my family and myself to him in a heartbeat. I plan on having a face life in the next 10 yrs and he's the man for me to do it. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you DR Wilcox and staff!

14/05/09 1 3 1 1 Had a breast lift and implants removed. Was assured I would love the results. The results are painful red & blue scars, one nipple higher than the other and one breast larger than the other. He would be happy to preform scar reversal and new implants for only another $7000.00. It's been 4 years and the scars are still red and painful.  Respond

29/12/08 1 4 1 1 Once I had my breast augmentation I complained about the left breast hurting, saying it felt like it was not placed properly and Dr Wilcox got offended and told me I was uncompliant. Six months after surgery, the left breast implant fell and was supported by only thin skin about about to rupture. He told me he would call me back to schedule surgery. They never called me back so I called them twice and still never heard back. Two weeks later I called to let him know my left breast implant was about to come out and it was bleeding out of the skin. Dr Wilcox's assistant Monica called me back to tell me they are no longer going to treat me, I asked why and she said I was uncompliant from having to reschedule appointments I had since May (appointments that were rescheduled, not missed.) I told her how urgent my situation was and she told me it was not her problem and to find another doctor. Well, Texas law Dr Wilcox ethically should treat me, especially since I am bleeding out the wound.
