It was a while ago that I saw Dr. Las so I don't remember anything about the staff, but he was terrible. I went to see him because I was having problems with my thyroid and he completely blew me off. He also told me that I shouldn't be looking up information on my thyroid problem (Hashimoto's) online because it was "dangerous". He also told me that adding T3 doesn't work. Well I have since found a Dr. who added T3 and I can't tell you what a difference it made! I will never go back to him again.

I'll be changing doctors. He may work for some people but after a miscarriage I wanted to talk about the influence (or lack thereof) my thyroid may have been which he spent maybe 15 seconds on. I also asked about my iron levels (was getting blood work done anyways and wanted to add that on since I was feeling the typical signs of anemia) and his response was "eat a hamburger). Thanks doc. After a few years seeing him I finally realized it's not worth my time.

Dr. Las answered my many questions but his staff is horrible. I have celiac disease and need gluten free medication. When Dr. Las wanted to change my medication, I told him I would have to check with the manufacturer first to confirm it was gluten free before taking the medication. Without confirmation from the manufacturer, his staff faxed the script to CVS. When I checked with the manufacturer, however, they said they do not check for gluten and could not certify it was gluten free. I called Las's staff and she told me that CVS told her the medicine was gluten free. I called CVS and spoke to my regular pharmacist, whom I've known for years and she told me she never said that. In fact, Las's staff told the pharmacist that Dr. Las said it was gluten free. And his staff faxed a script to CVS and wrote "gluten free" on it. When I told Dr. Las what his staff did he just said "Oh". Ingesting medication containing gluten on a daily basis can cause stomach cancer. I will be changing doctors.

I have seen Dr. Las two times but had many interactions with the staff and Dr. Las by phone throughout my pregnancy since I had to get blood work every 4 weeks or so. Unlike the other reviewer I felt very rushed (after waiting over 45 minutes) and my questions were not even answered. He promplty left and I was sitting there with more questions than ever. I have also gotten a wrong prescription and no one would even take responsibility for that. Dr. Las told me to cut the pills in half since it was close enough. To say the least, I am not happy and will be changing doctors.
