:) Click to report rating *  6/22/09 5 4 5 First of all, the reason why you can never get through on the phone is because he has SO many patients - so what does THAT tell you? He took over my entire family's files when Dr. West suddenly left. With doctor shortages and issues surrounding the medical field, I think we're pretty damn lucky. Dr. Scott always takes the time to address my concerns. We should feel lucky that HE hasn't decided to suddenly pull up stakes as well! Kim and Debbie are the absolute best and I appreciate the care they give every time myself or my children are in there. They are pleasant and helpful and add even MORE to this practice. Now, the secretary, Joanne. What a ray of sunshine - FINALLY! That other crab they had in there was the worst. But Joanne never turns us away. "Sorry, we're full, you'll have to go to a clinic." That DOES happen with other doctors. Overall, I am extremely happy with Dr. Scott and his team. Under all of the circumstances, you could not possibly find better care. Dare you to try.

:) Click to report rating    2/2/08 4 2 5 Great doctor have been his patient for over 25 years. Debbie and Kim are a great asset to his practice. Only complaint I have is the waiting times but they will fit you in for an appointment that day or the next so can't complain too much about the wait.

:( Click to report rating *  1/4/08 5 2 1 I have read the same rates of Dr. Scott over and over and most people seem to be in aggreeance. I have been going to Dr. Scott for over 25 yrs also and I have many medical problems to discuss every month I go and he never seems to take the time to listen to me,or just passes it off as usual. If it wasn't for Debbie I would never get my blood pressure taken or have any issues I need to discuss with him addressed unless she writes it in my chart and underline it. Always a prescription for EVERYTHING. He's known as the pill doctor! Thanxs for everything Debbie. If I could find another doctor I would leave him so quick. He has no compassion for you unless you want to waste your time talking about foolish idle stuff that he enjoys and before you know it your time is up.If you question anything about your illness or disorder he talks around it and you still don't get it addressed before you have to leave. Joanne the new receptionist is terrific. Very accomodating and very friendly.

:( Click to report rating    12/12/07 5 1 1 I have many medical problems and I don't feel like I get them addressed every month .If it wasn't for their trustworthy nurses Debbie and KimberLyTHey are the only ones interested enough to what the reading meant. Thanks girls Very much appreciated!

:( Click to report rating    10/19/07 2 1 1 Have to physically drive to office make appointment because can never get through on the phone. He barely looks up at you when talking and doesn't make any attempt to glance through chart to try to remember who you even are. Thank God for Debbie who doesn't all of his leg work. So glad Dr. West came back and opened an office.

:) Click to report rating    5/25/07 3 4 Takes awhile to warm up to him. His practice is just too big so wait times for an appointment are pretty long, but another doctor has opened up again after a brief retirement in GB-W so hopefully some of that other doc's former patients will return to him. Dr. Scott's phone is always busy and you can't leave messages. Very annoying when you're a busy person yourself.

:) Click to report rating    5/24/07 2 5 Dr.Scott is the best Dr. out there. Sometimes you have to wait an hour to get into see him. He has been my Dr. for 25 years. I can't say anything bad about him.

:) Click to report rating    4/15/07 2 5 I find Dr. Scott very caring and willing to take time with his patients which probably puts him behind, thus the wait time. His wife is also very caring and welcoming and Debbie is terrific. The receptionist is unfriendly and unaccommodating. You feel like a nuisance to her.

:) Click to report rating    4/7/07 3 5 When I lived in NB a few years ago, Dr. Scott was our family doctor. He was always empathetic and helpful. Since moving to Ontario and having to find another doctor, I realize just how lucky we were. I recommend him highly.

:) Click to report rating    3/28/07 2 4 Dr. Dan is a good doctor, has far too many patients and tries to accommodate everyone which has to be far too much for one man to do in a day. He listens, and shows concern most of the time. I don't know what this community would do without him.

:| Click to report rating    3/26/07 1 2 Can't get through on phone so you need to take time off to make appt then more time off to wait 2 hrs to see him but can only discuss 1 item so the vicious circle starts again if you have multipls medioal issues as I do. Loves to write Rx's to get rid of you. Even writes Rx you allergic to as your telling him your allergic to it! Calls you a turnip if you question his (extreme)changed diagnosis and treatment. Thank God I got out of there!!!

:) Click to report rating    3/24/07 5 5 I've been going to Dr Scott for 25 years or better. He's helped me more times. He is a awesome doctor.I would send anybody that has a problem to him.He does take the time with each person.I have a bad injury now and he does take the time to make sure that i get the right help. It's been 5 years since my injury and without Dr Scott i wouldn't be here to talk about it.He's helped me big time.My wife just loves him too.He helps her also.If you need something or someone he is there to help you.If he can't he will send you to somebody else that could help.Very knowledgeable doctor. My wife and i will miss him when he retires. There's not tomany doctor's like him.......

:) Click to report rating    3/21/07 2 4 I don't go to the Dr. much, so I am very fortunate in that way. Dr. Dan has always been helpful to me, but I haven't shown up with very serious illness. The one thing I hate though, is waiting for at least an hour to see him. I have ALWAYS waited. Everyone does with him, I think.

:) Click to report rating    3/16/07 1 3 Dr Scott is very good at his profession and wants to help in any way he can, however he overbooks so the wait is usually at least 1.5-2.5hours to get in and then once your in there you can only discuss one issue even if you have more than one problem due to time restraints you must book another appointment. I find if you catch him when he's tired he rushes to get you out with little concern, but on a good note if he has the time very patient and understanding. Besides the wait and rushing he's a great Doctor and I do enjoy having him as my Dr.

:) Click to report rating    3/13/07 2 5 I've had him for my doctor since I was a kid, I am now 32. Dan has been not only my doctor but my 4 kids' doctor as well...Even though I moved, I kept him as out doctor. He is also very hot!!!! The only negative thing I would say is that I can never get them on the phone so I have to drive half an hour just to make an appt. Besides that, he's great!

:) Click to report rating    3/12/07 4 5 Had Dan for many years, was excellent with my daughter and myself. Wished I would have kept him when I moved out of the area! No wonder he is busy, the government won't pay money for other doctors to come here! Keep up the great work Dan, now that I switched Dr.'s I am now without one, so you should always stick with what you have if it is good, driving the extra mile would be worth it.

:( Click to report rating    3/5/07 3 2 Every time I go in I get disappointed. It seems like a waste of time because I get no feedback, usually doesn't even tell me what I have, just writes a prescription. I think he's just too busy to focus on each patient. Surprise surprise, isn't every doctor?

:| Click to report rating    3/3/07 1 2 Takes up to 2 hours at times to get in and is very rushed. Sometimes helpful if he is in a good mood, if not he could care less. I broke my hand he told me to go home and soak it in water to ease the pain. Still broken!

:) Click to report rating    2/7/07 3 5 I find that Dr. Scott's recp books to many patients for the same time frame for appointments, other that he is a friendly, understanding, compassionate Doctor. He is a great asset to the community.
