A surgical and diagnostic expert. Pleasant, gives very clear explanations. Very respectful towards his team, patients and families. Works as promptly as he can despite to shorten wait times despite being understaffed for colleagues. Helpfully gives patients and their families an outlook on a surgery/investigation's overall impact on the patient so they can make more informed decisions.

Dr.Haggie is not only a caring and very good doctor, he spends all his time helping others and trying to improve the health care system within newfoundland and canada as a previous NLMA president and current CMA memeber, to all you people who can sit on your bums and complain about him should think twice, who gets up in the middle of the night and rushes to the hospital when you need him? he doesn't HAVE to help you he does that by choice, he cares about all his paients and saved many lives. As well as being a very good doctor and has done alot for the newfoundland health care system, so next time you sit on your computer and judge a great doctor who is great at what he does look at yourself and think, what have you done latley?

very nice caring doctor, wish there was more like him in NL, He saved my father's leg, when one doctor wanted him to have it off, its always good to get a second opinion and Dr. Haggie was great!!!

This doctor has no respect for an individual, has no knowledge to speak of and if this is what gander hospital has to offer ,then they should close down.

Hear a lot of bad**** about this guy. Probably one of the guys who got 75% on his exam. If he is that bad maybe Newfoundland should remember him and consider naming a cemetery after him.

Dr. Haggie is a horrible doctor. He performed surgery on my ex-husband 10 years ago to remove a cancerous tumor and his follow up was poor. Referred patient to wrong doctor for after care and waited 2 months to do it with a very aggressive type of cancer. Went to head of the hospital to complain about him. Would never see him again.
