:) Click to report rating *  10/13/09 4 4 5 dr. gaskill and her staff are great. my wife and i have been using her as our primary care doctor for years, and we couldn't be more pleased. her or her p.a. have always been great about keeping us in the loop and explaining everything to us. there've even been a couple of times that they've refered my wife to a specialist, but she scheduled an office visit with dr. gaskill to go over everything the specialist found. we recommend her to all of our friends and family in the area.

:) Click to report rating *  10/7/09 5 5 5 Dr. Gaskill saved my life. I had seen several doctors before going to see her. She listened to what was going on with me and took me seriously. She did not make me feel like I was crazy like the other doctors. Dr. Gaskill explained the tests she wanted to do, and when the results came in she explained them to me. There was something serious going on, but she referred me to an excellent specialist that completed my treatment. I am grateful for Dr. Gaskill, and recommend her to everyone.

:) Click to report rating *  8/27/09 5 5 5 We love Dr. Gaskill. She treats my whole family. She provides us with the most up to date and best care. She is a very kind lady and a very caring physician. I know my family's health is in good hands. We have sent friends to her too, and they all say the same thing, "We love Dr. Gaskill." She has really gotten me into shape and made me realize I needed to make some changes in my life to stay alive. We are working on preventing me from having a heart attack like my father. I am in the best hands.

:) Click to report rating *  6/29/09 5 5 5 I went to Dr. Gaskill because my mother scheduled the appointment. My mom has been seeing Dr. Gaskill for a while, but I had not seen a doctor in a few years, and my mom wanted me to have a physical. Dr. Gaskill was so nice and pleasant, not like previous doctors I have seen in the past. She was responsive to my questions and did not treat me like a kid. Great doctor. We have started the laser allergy treatments too and they are working great. Only a few treatments and I can already tell a differrence.

:) Click to report rating *  6/14/09 5 5 5 Dr. Gaskill has been my physician for years. Never have I been to a better, more caring physician. I am disturbed to see some of the things posted about Dr. Gaskill. When I have been in the office the behavior I have seen by patients has been absurd. Some people should be ashamed. I have seen people shout at the staff, curse at the staff, and be disrespectful to Dr. Gaskill about matters that she and the staff have no control over. I can’t believe people complain about their copay, or paying bills that they owe. Dr. Gaskill is phenomenal, and does not deserve such treatment.

:( Click to report rating *  6/9/09 1 1 1 Worst doctor I have ever been to. No bedside manner, no empathy for clients, lets staff talk rudely to patients, get nasty with patients, only interested in collecting mony. Stay far away from her!!

:) Click to report rating *  3/17/09 2 2 4 I have commented before about PA Gunn and Dr. Gaskill. They have helped me incredibly however my opinion as far as pricing has changed. Dr. Gaskill recently called in a Rx for me in regards to a blood test. She told me this over the voice messaging service, so not person to person, which is fine. However when I called back to ask questions about the Rx because its serious meds, I was told 2 days later to make another appointment. I found that unfair since this is all in relation to what I had seen her previously for. I then decided to go get a second opinion from another doctor specializing in what I need. I filled out the form to have my records transferred and Dr. Gaskill's office actually called me and said it would be a $69.95 charge!!! What?! It should be free so my new Dr. is now working on this. All in all, both the Dr and PA are great and knowledgeable, but they WILL try to get more money. I thought the other comments were just exaggerations but they are not.

:( Click to report rating *  2/27/09 1 1 1 I am a former patient of Dr. Gaskill. I thought it was just my experience and suspicion that she was running something less than ethical, but after reading so many ratings I am posting this to share my experience. I saw her for a routine check up and she had me come in to discuss results about my thyroid.(follow up apt = $$) She said my thyroid results were within normal but just outside of the normal limits of a "new" study and that I would need to go on a low dose of thyroid meds and just come and see her every 3 months to have the blood work re-done. I took synthroid for almost 2 years and decided to go to another dr to get a 2nd opinion. I went off the meds for 2 months and then had new test done and they were "totally normal" according to my new dr. I do believe she is running a business to make $$ and not to serve her patients. In the 2 yrs I was a patient, I saw the PA 9 of ten times. Also had "abnormal" liver enzymes on another test and wasnt allowed to discuss without an apt

:) Click to report rating *  2/14/09 5 4 5 Dr. Gaskill is so caring and compassionate with her patients. Her bedside manner is just what you want in a doctor. She always tries to make her patients feel at ease while giving them important information about their health. Her staff is fantastic too. They have policies in place to insure that patients are taken care of, whether it is for medication refills, billing questions or appointment scheduling. Anything I have needed has always been addressed in a timely and courteous manner. The staff is just as caring as Dr. Gaskill. I have not found this type of care at any other office.

:) Click to report rating *  1/26/09 5 5 5 Dr Gaskill and her staff have been so helful to me since 2008 when I returned to Georgia and have always taken time to discuss all my health problems which are many. I would rate her as A-One in the medical field

:( Click to report rating *  1/15/09 1 3 1 I had an unfortunate experience with Dr. Gaskill. On my first visit, her staff misinformed me my insurance would cover my visit. On my second visit I asked if they would tell me why the bill wasn't covered, thinking it was a mistake. They said they could not do that at the office, but if I did not pay it in full, they would refuse me service (the doctor would refuse to see me that day), which is what they did. A few weeks later I received a bill of $55.00 for a "no show" on the service they refused me. In my opinion, the practice behaved unethically and I would not recommend this Doctor.

:) Click to report rating *  1/8/09 2 5 5 Ive always seen Jan the PA but she is awesome. Diagnosed and treated my asthma and I felt better almost immediately. Other doctors just treated it like a chest cold. The staff at the time was very friendly and approachable. Now, those people are gone and they have your typical disgruntled employee at the front window and answering phones. Not everyone is like that, just this one person who will remain nameless of course. Im actually trying to have a RX called in right now, on the phone, on hold and its been 7 minutes literally. This never happened with the old staff. The Docs are great, but the staff really undermines their efficiency. Also, I just called back after no answer on hold, got through to someone else and everything was taken care of within 2 minutes. Understaffed was the excuse.

:( Click to report rating *  1/7/09 1 2 1 I have been a patient of Dr. Gaskill's for several years now and I am writing this review so that other patients may read this review and NOT choose Dr. Gaskill as their Dr. 1.Will never see or talk to you unless she needs to collect money from you and makes you pay before you even see her. 2.Will not provide you your medical records upon request. 3.She gets upset and will not refer you because she doesn't want to lose the revenue. 4.If you have any medical questions, she makes you come into her office so that she can charge you the co-pay and bill the insurance company for the business. 5.Is now trying to push or up-sell you on additional medical services and is positioning these services as only she offers them, which is not true because if you go see a specialist they will perform the exam or test for you Again, I do not want people to make the same mistake as I because I believe that everyone should see the best doctor available. DO NOT USE DR. GASKILL.

:) Click to report rating *  12/24/08 5 5 5 I am new to Dr. Gaskill's office. My first visit allowed me to get to know her and to feel comfortable with her. It also allowed her to get to know me and my medical history to treat me better in the future. The staff was great. I got a bill about a month after my first visit. I called the office about it and was given the email address. I was told that is the best way to communicate for documentation purposes. I sent an email with my questions and had an answer before the end of the day. My bill was explained to me and I was finally able to understand my insurance. I have more appointments scheduled and do not plan on changing anytime soon.

:| Click to report rating    12/10/08 1 3 1 I just want an annual check up but they requested that I have a first visit to "establish" new patient profile. That visit was pleasant because there's nothing that I need Dr. Gaskill to advice me, but I have to pay almost 100 dollors for that visit, just to set up next appointment for check up. Then the following communication with the front desk and billing dept is a mess. I just wanted to know what tests are covered in one routine exam and what is the amount they will bill my insurance compnay, but it seems those 2 straighforward questions are something that they have to hide or incapable of answering. They have cold attitude and work very inefficiently. After 2 wks of ineffective communcation through email, I requested to speak to a manager or the doctor. The front desk just answered, "I will leave a message for you." Then no one ever called me back. I give up on this office though Dr. Gaskill's smile is sweet. The front desk seems happy though when I cancelled my appointments.

:) Click to report rating    12/8/08 1 2 5 Good luck if you have billing issues. The billing coordinator pat is only available via email and never returns messages via email, fax phone or usps re billing issues. My account is scheduled to go to collections with them because they were submitting my insurance info with an incorrect date of birth which was not my fault. I had no knowledge of this until i owed a whopping 500.00. They never told me that my bill was adding up for 6 months!!!! There is now way to contact the doctor directly. the only people who you can speak to re: any issue is the front desk! I got no apology only snickers from the staff everytime I called about settling my bill! Dr gaskill is very nice I must say but I won't be going back!!!

:) Click to report rating *  10/31/08 5 5 5 I highly recommend this office. The staff is courteous and understanding when you are sick. When I call they always ask "when would you like to come in" and they get me in. I have never had a bad experience here. Dr. Gaskill is so knowledgeable; I know my health is in good hands. She always listens to her patients. She diagnosed problems that I did not even realize I had, and know I feel great. If you are looking for a great family doctor, this is the place to go.

:( Click to report rating    9/22/08 1 1 1 Repeated attempts to get medical records have failed. Was told point blank by a staff member "Good luck getting your records if you leave" when I threatened to change docs if I couldn't see my file. Doctor is always late to appointments.

:| Click to report rating    9/19/08 1 2 2 Doctor diagnosed sudden and recent appearance of lumps in the neck, groin, and arm pits with a less than 15 minutes physical inspection. Told me I was a "cyst former" and insisted that I had used up my time for the appointment and would need to reschedule (weeks later) if I needed to look into it further. I told the staff why I was coming in prior to my arrival

:| Click to report rating    9/8/08 1 1 1 Her practice is in the stoe age. Records are done by hand and not computerized. She takes forever during appointments. You need to give her office 2 weeks to fill your meds and requires constant reminders to get them filled.

:( Click to report rating    7/31/08 2 2 1 We have had mixed experience with Dr. Gaskill. We had requested some preventive medicine prescription to be called to the pharmacy before foreign travel, and it was so much delayed that we had to leave the country without it. Another time, we applied for life insurance and needed medical records and her office was extremely unhelpful and did not provide any information for when they could fulfill the request. There is also no way to directly contact the doctor as the staff wont let you leave a voice-mail, nor does Dr. Gaskill believe in having an email that people could use. Twice, they have failed to provide the lab results. Very frustrating office staff & operations. Positive side, her medical assistants are couteous and helpful; and normally address any questions you may have, but you have to be physically at the office for any services/questions as they just dont have the culture of using other means of communications.

:) Click to report rating    1/12/08 5 4 5 God Bless, Dr. Gaskill! We need more doctors like her. She literally saved my life! After having seen 2 other internists and one specialist who could not diagnose me correctly, Dr. Gaskill immediately diagnosed me with a malignant tumor. She immediately got me in for surgery and chemotherapy with colleagues she was confident in, and because of her I have a second chance in life. Dr. Gaskill is extremely bright, and she has always spent a lot of time with her patients. She is very personable and sincerely caring. Her office staff has always treated my my spouse and kids with courtesy and respect. Her office is beautiful, and very clean. I usually have about a 15-25 minute wait.I believe if your doctor runs like clockwork, then you ought to find another doctor. How can anyone(even a doctor)predict how long it will take to diagnose and answer the questions of each patient? Nearly everyone in our company sees Dr. Gaskill. WE LOVE HER DEARLY AND RESPECT HER KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

:) Click to report rating    12/17/07 1 1 3 Dr. Gaskill is never on time...even when to you have the first appointment in the AM. The last straw happend a few weeks ago when after waiting over 1/2 an hour in the waiting room and over an hour for her to come to my room, I got dressed and will never go back. There are too many Doc's in Alpharetta to be treated like this. My time is valuable too.

:| Click to report rating    12/11/07 1 2 2 Doctor Gaskill is knowledgeable and helpful, but does not spend much time with patients. My first visit was cut short prior to checking some lumps in my neck (my reason for the visit) because her staff had failed to inform her that I needed more than a basic physical. I was told I would have to schedule and pay for a second visit to have those checked. When they did check the lumps, they were immediately dismissed as cysts without any tests. After some other requested tests, I discovered you can't discuss your results with the doctor, and can only listen to a recording. Dr. Gaskill would be well served to hire a good office manager. The staff is rude. When I requested medical records they immediately became very standoffish and asked if I had any idea how long it took to find all the papers and copy them. They consistently fail to schedule my appointments correctly and charge when I miss appointments they incorrectly scheduled.

:) Click to report rating    11/7/07 4 5 5 I have personally never seen Dr. Gaskill and I am fine with that! Jan is a wonderful PA and when I make appointments, I ask to see her. The office staff has changed a bit (for the better) there were a few rude folks behind the desk but maybe they just forget how important their job actually is. When I go to see a doctor, I'm never 100% at ease because I'm SICK! If you do go to this office, ask to see Jan!!

:) Click to report rating    11/1/07 5 5 5 I had a great experience at Dr. Gaskills office. My first call to the office was very pleasant and I was able to get in right away. I was given the option to see a PA or the doctor. When I first arrived the staff was very friendly and patient as I completed the paperwork. During my visit with Dr. Gaskill she was very pleasant and responded to all of my concerns. The message system they have for lab results is fantastic. There was a personal message for me left by the doctor. All of my follow up visits have been great. The staff, PA and doctor are very caring and I feel that my health is in the right hands.

:) Click to report rating    9/28/07 5 5 5 I have been extremely pleased with this practice. I've been with Dr Gaskill at least 4+ years. I've found her staff to be very helpful and very courteous. She is a very personable Dr. and takes time to re-acquaint herself to each patient.

:) Click to report rating    8/23/07 5 5 5 I found Dr. Gaskill to be very helpful and kind. She spent a significant amount of time with me, and I did not at all get the feeling that I was part of some medical assembly line that I have experienced elsewhere. Her staff was great too, despite the fact that I witnessed some jerk berating and arguing with the front office staff for over half an hour. They kept their cool the entire time.

:) Click to report rating    4/20/07 4 5 Dr. Gaskill is great. She is a truly caring physician who sits down and listens to her patients. My lab results have always been communicated to me in a timely manner. And Tonia in the front office is the best. I always feel like I am in very capable hands when I see Dr. Gaskill. She will keep working at your problem until she finds the cause and a way to treat it. I have often felt that many male physicians attribute too many women's complaints as "all in their head." You won't find that attitude in Dr. Gaskill's office.

:( Click to report rating    11/13/06 3 1 The doctor will never be there, you will always have the nurse practioner. I dont even know what the Doc looks like. The office is so rude. We missed appointments with specialists because they will not do timely referals. You will never be informend of your test results. They are almost running a scam It feels like the doctor used her name for the clinic and just let the nurse practiotioner run it. I will not recommend this to anyone
