very unprofessional and very dangerous man over prescribed and unnecessarily prescribed heavy drugs to elderly patients. does not have good understanding of how meds effect the elderly. Did not co-operate with the family.Other patients on the floor were also drugged rather than treated appropriately. Family had to be very involved. God help his patients who do not have family to advocate for them.He also has a history on Mn board of medical practice. He engaged in unethical conduct.Corrective action was required.
good knowledge of psychiatry but not personable, or willing to listen to patient questions he knows best doesn't need or want input from patient

I had this Dr twice on admission for depression. Needless to say, the 2nd time, after one day, we both agreed not to have as my Dr. He was very rude, not willing to listen to ideas, his way or no way. I would not recommend this Dr. if you are looking for a caring MD. He was never on time for rounds, had such a huge patient load, that he didn't know one from another. I have never meet another like him. Thank goodness I have recovered from depression, and have not needed to ever see him again. The hospital staff was great, but he seemed totally to busy, to give quality care in my opinion. Poor bedside manner, and his office was extremely late for my appt with him. Has to much overload of patients to give better health care that is needed. I am a patient not a number on his stack of charts.
