:| Click to report rating    6/22/09 3 2 2 Dr.Arnott was my doctor for a few years and one day I called to make an appointment and they told me she was no longer there. No one phoned to tell me that she was gone. I was very shocked as I have Crohns Disease and need a doctor on a permanent basis to care for me. I would not reccomend thid doctor anymore. I feel the way she just left was very unprofessional.

:( Click to report rating    6/22/09 1 1 1 Found her to be rude and not interested in partnering with me in resolving some health issues. I told the owner of the clinic about my negative experience with this doctor. I suggested she might do better as a veterinarian, however, I would not take my dog to her.

:( Click to report rating    5/12/09 2 1 1 Very rude. Disrespectful and could care less. No bedside manner at all. Never went back to her. I would not subject myself or my girls (ages 11 and 18) to her again. NEVER!!!!I understand she retired however, I find out she works on occassion at Abbotsford Village Walk In Clinic. Do yourself a favour and stay away from her. She needs a complete attitude overhaul.

:( Click to report rating    5/5/09 1 1 1 I was heartened to see that other patients have received the same level of extreme rudeness as I did from Dr. Arnott, only because she made me so uncomfortable each and every time I saw her that I began to think that perhaps it was me! I was so nervous around her that I would leave before addressing all of my concerns. She consistantly made me and my two small children wait for her to grace us with her presence, sometimes for up to 45 minutes. Once I peeked out to see if I was next in line, only to see her with her feet up on her desk reading a magazine! I suffered from life-long, unexplained heart palpitations until a naturalpathic pysician diagnosed me with an allergy to corn. When I brought these test results up with Dr. Arnott at my next visit, she actually rolled her eyes and mouthed a mock prayer. Bottom line, unless you need immediate treatment, avoid this doctor. Is she has retired as one person mentioned, then it's definitely for the best.

:| Click to report rating    3/10/09 2 5 1 I found her to be rude at times and not rude at others. Rude or not she took less than 5 seconds to look at a problem I had and I then suffered with it for 2 years - my fault really - but I felt like she was telling me I was wasting the medical services time- and the problem affected my sleep and quality of life.

:( Click to report rating    11/8/08 4 3 1 I agree with all of the other comments posted. This doctor always seemed "bothered" by any health concern that I had - was NEVER friendly or caring. I understand now that she has retired - but I wasn't advised of this I just happened to find out a year later when I needed a doctor.

:( Click to report rating    2/11/08 2 1 2 I'm currently looking for a new doctor. Dr. Arnott has always made me feel uncomfortable in her office as if I'm somehow bothering her by being there. I find her to be judgemental and not very helpful at all. After leaving her office I feel like nothing has been accomplished.

:( Click to report rating    1/2/08 1 3 1 This woman has no personality and even less bedside manor.

:( Click to report rating    12/10/07 4 4 1 I needed a pap and preferred a female doctor. When I learned this one could take my appointment, I went. Needing a family doctor, I hoped this could be the one. However, She was so abrupt and hostile to my questions/comments. After my exam I felt creeped out and wished heartily that I hadn't had the pap part of the exam done by someone I felt so negatively about. It is an exam I only want done by someone I trust, and I realized I could not say that about her. In all, she gave off disconcerting, alien and bewildering hostility. And this with a new patient! I actually was so upset I phoned the office manager and expressed my opinion, and got this off my chest. That person was very nice and listened. That helped me be able to move on.

:( Click to report rating    10/31/07 1 3 1 As a young patient with a chronic health condition... the least this dr chould do is look at the chart prior to walking into the room, and at least attempt to remember me. I plan on switching to a new Dr as soon as I can find one.

:( Click to report rating    6/22/07 2 1 I find this woman to be one of the most unpersonable doctors I've ever met. She has absolutely no compassion or understanding for people. She makes you feel like you are completely wasting her time and yours. I just moved into the area, and now I understand why she was able to take new patients....she probably can't keep them. I would recommend you think twice before making this woman your family doctor.

:) Click to report rating    4/17/07 5 5 Thank you for another great visit, an excellent Doctor - certainly making a huge difference to my life. Knowledgeable, Kind and Professional, what more could I ask.

:| Click to report rating    4/15/07 3 2 Wow, just out of curiosity I wanted to read what others said about Dr. Arnott. I was glad to see that it wasn't just me that thought her rude and cold and judgemental! I saw her for 2 years and have been quite glad that I moved and don't have to deal with her any longer. Although I can tell she is knowledgable in her field the lack of compassion coupled with her seeming better than me attitude made it very difficult for me to respect her or appreciate having to see her! Thats too bad tho cause female Dr.s are hard to find!

:( Click to report rating    4/9/07 2 2 Dr. Arnott is not very friendly, she is cold and does not make you feel at ease. I ended up with her as she was the only female doctor accepting patients in Abbotsford and I desperately needed to find a family doctor. The only thing she was good for was her referral to a maternity clinic that was great. Otherwise she has a quite judgemental attitude, she rarely smiles, and is very curt and short. I think the longest appointment I've ever had with her was five minutes. She's in and out. She isn't awful, but she could be so much better. I think maybe she is too busy or has other things on her mind, who knows, but she definitley needs to get better at her bedside manners. When I needed to have one of "those" appointments she seemed visibly relieved when it turned out she didn't have to do it afterall. I thought that was very odd considering she's a doctor and things like that shouldn't faze her.

:( Click to report rating    3/31/07 4 1 I saw her for the first time 2 days ago, and she was unbelievably rude. I told her my current involvements in working on my health and when I told her what I was doing she rolled her eyes at me numerous times, plus negated verbally what I was talking about. My 8 year old child was with me and when we left said "Mommy, she rolled her eyes at you alot. That wasn't very nice". My 8 year old would have acted more maturely. There is no excuse for this kind of behaviour. It was extremely easy to choose to not see her a second time. I will be reporting her to the doctor who owns the clinic.

:( Click to report rating    3/19/07 3 1 The first time that I saw Dr. Arnott she seemed very helpful. I have been back many times since because I cannot find another family doctor. She has gotten short, rude and doesn't seem to care what a patient has to say. Sometimes people take on to much responsibility and they need to sit back and maybe go back to the way they used to do things. When someone says to you "You have cervical cancer, go see this other doctor" with no sensitivity and walks out of the room it's a little frustrating.

:( Click to report rating    3/13/07 4 1 I only saw Dr. Arnott twice. The first time she was great, and I decided that I would like her as my family doctor. The second time I saw her, a year later for my prescription renewel, she was short, rude, and extremely off-putting. While I realize we all have our good and bad days, there is no excuse for a doctor to be that rude to a patient. Despite how difficult it is to find a family doctor in Abbotsford, I decided that I was no longer going to be seeing her as a patient. I now have a doctor in another town.

:| Click to report rating    2/27/07 1 2 She did not come across as being very compassionate. She was very harsh and direct and to the point. She was very difficult to talk to.

:) Click to report rating    1/16/07 4 5 I have been seeing Dr Arnott for about 3 years now and she is the kind of person who takes time to get to know you and has a kind of sarcastic sense of humour. She gives me the feeling that she knows that I am not stupid and is sort of like a mother in that she shows some disappointment when she says to Loose Weight and you have not done anything about it tells you to keep trying but she knows you know that you are only hurting yourself when you don't follow through on her recommendations. She shows an interest on how things are progressing and will take a moment to listen to your excuses then say okay now stop the excuses and get on with it. like I said sort of a mother...

:( Click to report rating    11/5/06 2 1 Did not strike me as a warm compassionate person Quick to make judgment calls without getting the facts. Would find it difficult to have an open doctor patient relationship with her
