I highly recommend Dr Naaykens, he has been my familys GP since we moved to the valley 15 years ago. Couldnt ask for a better, more knowledgeable, caring doctor. Very upset to know he will no longer be in the valley. Victoria is very lucky to have him.

I am a young adult and it seems he dosnt belive anything I tell him, constantly telling me there is nothing he can do. He has made follow ups for me to other specialists but he seems "stumped" when I see him, offering very little input leaving me feeling lost.

Dr. Naaykens was our doctor in Courtenay for several years and now that he has moved to Victoria we miss him terribly. His new patients in Victoria are very fortunate to have him for their doctor.He is caring, professional, thorough and knowledgeable. We will never find a doctor who is as remarkable as him. He gets five starts. I know I speak for many of his Courtenay patients.

dr naaykens has done more for me in 4 months that 5 doctors and 10 dendist did 2 years. if it wasent for meeting him, well, i dont really know what to say here beacuse its hard to even imagine. what i do know is that he is the best DR. anywhere. he saved my life.

Fabulous. Feels like he really cares about you and your health: the kind of doctor that won't let anything fall through the cracks when it comes to paying attention to the patient and their health. REally listens. The kind of doctor you would want taking care of your health and of your family.

Couldn't ask for a better doctor. Never have to wait long. There's a after-hours clinic available eves and weekends. And he is always caring, always friendly, always helpful, and has a great sense of humour too! He's irreplacable.

Without question the best all around doctor I could have had over the past 10 + years. Up to date, knowledegable, caring, skilled, thorough and a wonderful personality. I am lucky to have him as a GP, he keeps putting back the parts that keep falling off!! Thanks Doc

Doctor Naaykens has ALWAYS been there for me and also for my husband who passed away last year. He has always gone well beyond the call of duty to take care of me. All subjects are approachable and discussed with practical common sense. I believe he is the best doctor available in my community and I appreciate his dedication to the practice of medicine. As well as this, he is good-humoured, caring and accessible. In crisis situations, he is there with good communication.

Dr. Naaykens is an incredible doc. He is a joy to be around, and he knows his stuff. I have dealt with a lot of doctors, and he is by far the best. Thanks for being a great friend and doctor. Your always there we I have needed you. His diagnostic abilities are uncanny. He must spend hours reading the most up to date journals. Best trauma dr. in the Valley.

He's the best! You may have to wait awhile in the waiting room but it's worth it. The wait time is totally related to the extra time Dr. Naaykens is willing to spend with you durng your appointment. If you go in for one reason, he is willing to take some extra time with you if you have a few other questions. He chats and laughs along with you to put you at ease and will always refer you to a specialist if there is any questions or concerns you have that he can not answer. He has an amazing memory for your medical history (as well as your personal life - like where you last holidayed - that personal touch). High recommendations on all accounts.

Dr. Naaykens is one of the best Doctors in this area. He too us over when Dr. Davies left private practice and has proved himself many times over by helping and keeping our family safe and healthy. Besides being overworked, he is always available to his patients and makes you feel confident when you are worried, and makes you feel safe. Keep up the great work Doc, but take time for you and your family also.

DR Naaykens is an attentive GP he is very smart and knows when to take our complaints seriously all our family goes to him. I don't think he takes new patients which is too bad but the medical community is better for him

Has been our entire family's doctor since our previous one retired. Always follows up on tests and complaints, likes to get "to the bottom of a problem", refers to specialists when required, keeps a good history and refers back, explains all treatments/diagnoses in understandable terms, polite/respectful yet sense of humor and willing to chit-chat a bit to personalize doctor's visits. We are all quite happy with him as a family doctor!
