Dr Miller is certainly a man who goes way above and beyond what his stock and trade is. Kind to a fault, funny and caring are some traits that come to mind. I have had a particularily rocky road health wise and he actually sat and just talked to me just like two human beings that were communicating hopeful and action based solutions. The cliche," I owe him my life" isn't too far from the truth. I don't know what my future holds, I do know that I strive to carry on with strength and courage because of some wisdom that I picked up from the good doctor.

Dr Miller has a wonderful sense of humour which he uses to make you feel comfortable as I discovered when having my first physical with a male doctor. He is very easy to talk to and feels more like a friend than a doctor. He is very knowledgable. He knows all the best specialists which he does not hesitate to send you to if required. Both my husband and I feel very lucky to have Dr Miller as our doctor. Thankyou Dr Miller for being the wonderful person and doctor that you are!

Dr. Miller and his the Doctor that he took the practice over from Dr. Robertson have been my family doctors for over 35 years and they both have been OUTSTANDING. Dr. Miller helped me when I was diagnosed with cancer 13 years ago and broke the news to me like a friend and not like a doctor which made things 100% easier to deal with

Dr.Miller helped me thru a really terrible time with kindness, patience, caring, & compassion. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met AND he's the world's best, smartest, & hardest-working doctor. He is truly one in a million!

Dr Miller has been my GP for over 10 years. He treated my mother towards the end of her losing battle with cancer. To this day, I can see the compassion he feels towards me, having lost my mother at such a young age. His kindness and empathy make him a superb doctor. I feel lucky to be under his care. When I did have a question about a medicine he prescribed I phoned the office. Dr. Miller personally called me back to explain.

Dr. Miller must be the best family doctor in the Lower Mainland. He is knowledgeable. caring and has provided the best possible medical care for our small family anyone could ever receive. We are so fortunate to have him for our family doctor!

Dr. Miller rocks. That is not to say about his office assistant who is an awful insensitive person. She always wants to give me very long dates for appointment even when I am in pain. If I call when she is not there, which I usually try to do, she will call me back when she gets in and attempt to cancel and reschedule.

Dr. Miller has been our family doctor for over 10 years. He has always been on time, always knowledgeable and kind. When we have ended up at VGH emergency and Dr. Miller caught wind of it, he called us at home to see how we were soing.One of my favourite things about Dr. Miller is that when he refers you to another doctor, he refers you to the absolutely best people! We are so fortunate to be under his care. Dr. Miller rocks!

what can i say about duncan? he is fantastic. you can't find a better doctor anywhere! i hope he never retires! the man is very smart, empathetic, kind, caring. when my dad had a heart attack he even came to the hospital once or twice on his lunch breaks just to check in on him! how many doctors would do that for their patient?

In have been under his medical care for a number of years,and there is no better physician out there then him.A great human being, his medical expertise and knowledge is exceptional,he is down to earth and listens to his pt's and his referrals to the top specialists in their field are unbeatable.I would never switch to another GP ,eventhough if it means to take a day off from work,as I work Mon-Fri.He always fits me in on short notice ,if there is an urgent matter.

I visited Dr Miller last month pertaining to an ear problem and he solved it swiftly. I was extremely impressed by his punctuality and the simple fact I was not left out to wait in the "waiting room"(like most doctors)for hours. Rather 2 minutes after arriving I was seeing this learned and friendly chap(with outstanding maps!!)

Dr. Duncan Miller is an absolutely wonderful family doctor. My husband and I feel so fortunate to be under his care. He is knowledgeable, careful and we feel a great debt to him for all that he has done for us.

All of the above and more, there's not much I can add to the comments already made, except to say he has been the most caring doctor for myself and laterly for my mother who died of cancer at the age of 95. Nothing was too much trouble in his care for her - when medecine no longer helped, he would go and just sit with her & console her. He goes over the top in his care.

No sense of belittlement with regards to "stupid" questions. Very informative and always willing to take the time to make you feel comfortable. Non-invasive yet covers everything and anything you need.

Dr. Miller is an amazing physician, very knowledgeable and caring. He cares for the whole person, not just the body. He is kind and when I have faced financial difficulties in the past he has been very mindful of that when prescribing treatments. He's been my family doctor since he took over this practice, and I wouldn't change doctors for anything, despite the fact that I live a fair distance away from his practice now.

He's awesome. My mother passed away from cancer due to medical neglect, and when diagnosed, she switched to Miller for her remaining months, as he detected a cancerous tumour in her best friend in a simple routine check-up after she said "My side feels weird." Had my mother seen him earlier, I suspect she'd be alive today. I see him now and he's a straight talker, easy to approach, and I know I can talk to him about everything I'm ever concerned about. He's practical, trustworthy, and even plain old fun. He uses common sense. I'm also financially compromised these days, and he goes out of his way to prescribe affordable treatments, or even gives me free samples when he can. I literally trust him with my life. Other friends I've recommended to him love him, and even a couple whole families have adopted him -- but good luck signing him on. He's THAT popular that he only takes referrals these days, from what I know.

He is a straight talker when talking to patients about their medical condition. He will not withhold information, but will express it in a form that the patient understands. He is always polite and concerned about his patients. He offers options for suggested treatments. He always speaks the truth.
