:) Click to report rating    1/14/10 4 5 5 Awesome Dr. I love the personal attention you get from him, he sits down and takes his time never seems rushed and gets me the answers I need.I could not ask for a better Dr. Always makes me feel comfortable while in his office, takes care of prescriptions when I need them.Very happy with this Dr and would reccomend to anyone looking for a Dr.He was performing some tests on me this week and was very relaxed even though he has never done this before, took the time to read through the instructions and talk me through it, he even drew my blood too, now where would you find a Dr that does that these days. Could not ask for a better bedside manner and if he cant fix me he referrs me to somebody who can. so if you are looking for a super personable dr this is your guy. Im glad someone reccomended him to me, I will never change drs totally happy here!

:) Click to report rating    10/8/09 5 4 5 My two kids just love Dr. Ilko and staff. Dr. Ilko has been there for us at 3:30 a.m. when our family had a medical emergency at home and returned my call within 5 minutes when I called his answering service and then he followed up with a call 30 minutes later to makes sure everything was ok. We are able to get an appt on short notice if someone is sick, Dr. Ilko will sit down and spend the time and listen and ask questions and if he is unable to help will direct you to other medical doctors within the field you need. When I call and need to talk with a nurse they always return my call in a timely manner. The front office staff is tops also. We appreciate the Thursday evening appts, which fit into our busy schedule.

:| Click to report rating    9/2/09 2 2 2 At the first appointment with my son, the doctor and staff were very friendly. They were so friendly that the appointment lasted an hour and a half -- a bit long for a very young child! The second appointment they were definitely not as helpful. The nurse told me she had run out of vaccine and told me to come back later to give my son the shot he missed. So I brought my son back a few weeks later and had to wait a half hour -- for one shot that they couldn't give him the first time because they ran out of vaccine! There were other patients in the waiting room who had been waiting a very long time, yet the pharmaceutical sales people who said they had just stopped by were immediately ushered in to see the doctor! I would say the doctor was pretty good, but way overbooked and overworked and the staff, well, sorry to say, they helped reduce my rating.

:| Click to report rating    3/4/09 4 5 4 This doctor's lack of knowledge regarding use of medications during pregnancy was, unfortunately, not current. Never will see him again.

:) Click to report rating    12/28/07 5 4 5 Dr. Ilko is the best. I don't live in Woodbury anymore, but I will keep him as my physician until I die or he quits practicing, whichever comes first! His office is always busy so it is sometimes impossible to be seen right at your appointment time, but we believe he is worth the wait. He's the first doctor I've had since childhood (I am 43) who KNOWS me. My husband,my children and I trust him with our lives. He gives great care, even dispensing hugs when he feels I need them. He honestly cares about his patients, and isn't one of those doctors who tells me what I want to hear-he tells me what I need to hear, even if it's hard to hear it. I feel very comfortable talking with him, and he always gives me all the time I need to make sure we've gotten to everything I wanted to see him about. He's the best, hands down. He knows medicine and health care, and he knows his patients. His staff is always helpful, courteous, and friendly. We would definitely recommend him.

:( Click to report rating    8/26/07 3 2 2 initially quite interested and pleasant but as symptoms draggede on and he was unable to determine cause he became less able to help. At one apptment he never even saw me, allowd a med student to handle the entire apptment with her reporting info back to him then she would come back and tell me what he said. This med student was so new, she took my blood three times and failed before I finally said, that's enough let's get a nurse in here! The blood taken was to run tests to rule out a potential condition. Ilkos office never called with the results so I fiannly called them to get results and they never retunred my phone call! So I still don't know results! SO frustrating when no one can figure out what is wrong with you and all you want to do is get better!

:) Click to report rating    1/16/07 5 5 Dr.Ilko is always very professional and puts patient care at the top of the list. He always takes time to listen to whatever is on the patients mind and provides answers to their questions. If he does not have an immediate answer, he will definitely find one for you. Excellent physician!!!

:) Click to report rating    12/4/06 5 5 Dr. Ilko gives real one-on-one care. Actually knows each of his patients and makes you feel like he is your personal doctor, and not just another number.

:) Click to report rating    10/27/06 5 5 One of the few doctors left that actually takes the time to know every patient. Courteous and caring, great with kids. The kind of doctor that you only run across once in a lifetime.
