I'm 45 years old and had been thinking about doing Botox for quite some time, and I just decided to go in for a consultation. I didn't feel any pressure whatsoever to go through with it, but after talking it over with the doctor and nurse I felt very comfortable and went ahead with it. I was very pleased with the outcome. It was a subtle yet not-so-subtle change. It was perfect. It was everything I was hoping for.

I came in to his office to have a wart on my finger treated and some skin tags on my neck removed. The nurse told me to get into a gown and I asked why when all I needed was him to look at my hand and neck. She told me that Dr. Crutchfield always looks at the backs of new patients because it is an area that is hard for most people to see. Relunctantly I put the gown on. He came in and gave treatment recommendations for the wart and tags, but he also did look at my back and used some little skin microscope (dermascope?) to a mole on my back and told me it looked suspicious and he wanted to remove it. I thought to myself, "great, he is running 15 minutes late, I came in for a wart and now he wants to take a mole off my back". Well, the 'mole' turned out to be MELANOMA. He caught it eary and my prognosis is excellent, but if it was caught later (or not at all) I could have DIED. He SAVED MY LIFE and I am forever grateful to Dr. Crutchfield and I want the world to know it.

Extremely long wait times for routine appts. I'm on accutane and have to go in for monthly blood & pregnancy tests in order to get a new prescription. This at most takes 15 minutes to perform. Recently had a 4 pm appt, showed up at 3:50, didn't get to the exam room until 4:45, and didn't get to see the doctor until 5:15. Wait times have definitely extended since his practice has grown. He seems to be putting more time and emphasis on his MediSpa procedures than the medical related appts. When I showed up for my appt, the waiting room was practically standing room only with at least 20+ people. Some had waited longer than I did. Good doctor for aggressive treatments but abysmal wait times. Appts also have to be booked months in advance as he splits time btwn Medispa and medical appts. Nurses are hit or miss, some nice others ok. I think they're all med students as I rarely see the same nurse twice.

Our family is so grateful for the wonderful improvement in my grandaughter Mary's life that Dr. Crutchfield and his kind, sensitive staff have made possible. As a teenager she became increasingly demoralized, withdrawn and embarrassed with the way her acne made her appear, even though she knew it was not her fault. She hated having her picture taken. We tried every over-the-counter acne product and even ordered a product we saw on TV but nothing helped. As a patient, you have always welcomed her as a personal friend, encouraged her, and focused on the positive future. And here she is, a few months later, a sophomore in college, with beautiful skin, confident, out-going and ready to take on the world! Our family thanks Dr. Crutchfield and his outstanding staff from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful job they did at clearing up Mary's acne and letting her true, beautiful personality shine through. - Grandma Bonnie A., Northfield, MN

I have 3 homes; New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles. I have had cosmetic dermatology treatments in all three areas and I specifically fly to see Dr. Crutchfield in Eagan, Minnesota because he is absolutely the best cosmetic dermatologist I have ever encountered. He is more than a physician; he is an artist who constantly strives for perfection in his craft. I have sent several friends, including my sister, to see him and, to a person, they have all been extremely satisfied.

I am 72 years old. I've had skin problems since I was a little girl. I remember taking the whole day to drive to the Mayo Clinic for a skin appointment. I've been going to Crutchfield dermatology for 7 years now and I've never had anything but a truly wonderful experience.
My skin looks beautiful and feels better than ever. His nurses are the best and nicest I've ever met. I wore a dress (showing my legs) with short sleeves to my granddaughters wedding this summer and felt better about myself than anytime in my whole life. It took 72 years for that to happen.
I honestly thank God for Dr. Crutchfield, his treatments have been life changing for me.
for.
Each and every time I've seen him he always asks me before he finishes" is there anything else I can do for you?"
I'll bet he will do the same for you. Dr. Crutchfield is the best and nicest doctor I have met in my life. Don't miss the chance to see one of the greatest doctors ever. May God bless you.

I had a fantastic experience at Crutchfield Dermtology. I have seen several other physicians over many years and he is the first one who was able to really help me. The recetion staff was polite and helpful. I did have to wait about 20 minutes, but it was well worth it.Dr. Crutchfield stopped in the exam room and was kind enough to let me know "he'd be with me in just a few minutes" I've nevr had a doctor do that before! He carefull examined me, came up with a diagmosis, (which no one else had), gave me a precription that cleared me up, completely, in 2 weeks. Before he left the exam room he asked me if I had any other questions or if there was anything else he could do for me! Wow,again I can't remember a doctor ever doing that. The nurse carefully went over everything again and gave me her card to call if I had any questions. She said if she could not answer them, she'd have Dr. c talk to me. I suffered for 3 years and now I was clear in 2 weeks. I AM ABSOLUTELY THRILLED!

I was VERY unhappy with my appointment today. I had called 2 weeks ago to get pricing for derma fillers, and based upon what I was quoted made an appointment. Not only did I wait an hour to see the doctor, but the price he quoted me was almost DOUBLE what I had been quoted previously. Needless to say I left without the treatment and am really annoyed!

I was really disappointed with Dr. Crutchfield. The wait times are abysmal, for which they don't apologize (avg. seemed to be 45+ minutes after your scheduled appt. and I saw several people leave in frustration without being seen). I had the doctor remove some moles and was very disappointed with the results. The two face moles look almost exactly as they did before he cut them, only one is a red mark instead of brown and the other is slightly smaller. I would never return to him as it was a huge waste of money for his treatment.

Visits were extremely rushed. My initial appointment was less than 5 minutes. For regular visits, Dr. Crutchfield was literally in & out within 1 to 2 minutes. Nursing staff absolutely fails to return calls! I finally gave up and found a doctor that cares more about service than quantity.

Dr. Crutchfield is apparently interested in the money primarily. He rushes through appointments, has the nurse do most of it and somehow can't figure out what is wrong with me. I've gone to him for 3 different problems and he has been no help. He also insists I come back for rechecks but then sits there nd tells me the exact same thing he told me before. I will never go back to him again. His waiting room is one big advertisement for himself. Interesting how he doesn't show up on any recommended lists of Doctors.

I waited almost an hour and a half in the waiting room only to see the rushed Dr. Crutchfield for about a minute and a half. The nurse I saw did everything that I felt the Dr. himself should have done. Seems like he just threw some prescriptions at me quickly so he could see more patients. Too busy to take care of his patients.

I have psoriasis, he is the only doctor that helped me. I went to the Mayo Clinic, University of Minnesota and other Dermatologists and they all failed, and just had me coming in every month. Thank you Doctor Crutchfield.

I have been seeing Dr. Crutchfield for at least 3 years for acne treatments. Although my skin is clear from the Accutane program he recommended, I felt that he had no hesitation to put me on such a strong medication as I know he does with most of his acne patients. It seems as if he doesn't want to take the time to work with me and just gave me the easiest thing to make my skin clear even with the laundry list of very harmful side effects. Since I am on this medication, I have to follow up at the clinic once a month for a short visit to get a new prescription, however even though I am only waiting for a new prescription, I have many times had to wait over an hour in the waiting room alone and then another half hour for Dr. Crutchfield to come in the room for 20 seconds. If it weren't for the kind staff, I probably would have gone elsewhere.

I appreciate that you, Dr. Crutchfield, and your team at Crutchfield Dermatology are always trying to make "good" ... "GREAT". You have made improvements to the Lipodissolve treatments that you offer which have made it much more comfortable, less likely to swell as much and more effective. You could have kept things the way they were without anyone knowing the difference, but as I said ... you always strive to make good GREAT. Thank you!

6 yr old daughter had a mole that I suspected was likely harmless but I wanted it checked to be certain. Dr. Crutchfield examined it and pronounced it harmless, easing my mind. Was absolutely CHARMING to my daughter to the point where she has mentioned at least three times since her visit how is he "sooo nice" and her "favorite Dr. EVER". He presented her with a big yellow "duckie" for being a great patient, and when she asked the assistant if she could have another one for her little brother, Dr. C. himself came back in and handed her a second rubber duckie!

First time in almost 20 years that my skin is clear. I have seen many dermatologists over the years for my psoriasis with only mediocre results. But today I have normal skin! I will always be grateful for Dr Crutchfield for making me a normal person again.
