Dr. Fishell at Advanced Pain care is an insult to what being a medical provider means. The business itself states "ADVANCED PAINCARE" A spine specialist sent him a referral so as to control my pain. I never heard back, I followed up with leaving one message after another and finally I was told to go see another doctor. Two weeks of waiting in pain to be told that is beyond unprofessional. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID if you care about yourself AVOID. After reading other reviews about Dr. Michael Fishell I am glad I never got in.I love living in Nevada but horrendous medical practices I have observed or been a victim of in 3 years I have lived here. A pain specialist should address any patient in pain, it is part of the Hippocratic Oath. Shame on you Dr. Michael Fishell you violate your Hippocratic oath and lack ethics and morality. If you are in real pain find someone else who will address your pain and treat you as a person not another patient. No human element here is applied.

I saw Dr Fishell for the first time.I found him to be a Great Doctor.I felt very comfortable, he's extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He took his time with me and answered all of mine and my husbands questions. It nice to see that there are still doctors left with those old fashioned values and that we are not just a name and a number with a dollar sign attatched.I would recommend him to anyone who wants to feel like they actually matter. This is coming from someone who is tired of being hearded in and out of other doctor s offices.Keep up the great care Dr.Fishell! You are rare but valued doctor.Thsnk you for that experience.

April 3rd, 2014 Met Dr. Fishell, discussed very little about me, he talked more about Obama care and government. I gave him a MRI & referring Doctor Report, MRI was done Feb 2014, Doctor Duke report dated March 31, 2014. The referring Doctor want me to have injection in my neck as x-rays indicated so did the report. Went in for injection on April 8, 2014, No one at anytime asked me where the injection was suppose to be. Doctor Fishell gave me the injection in my lower back (the wrong place) it was suppose to be in my neck, got very sick from the anesthetic. My husband called office several times that day, no One would answer the phone or called him back. Met with Doctor Fishell a week later, and he blamed me for all of his mistakes. All I can say is Beware of this Doctor. PS Some how he got a MRI I had on my back 5 years earlier. Said this was the only report he had. Why would a Doctor use an MRI dated 5 years ago, when I had just given him a recent one on my neck?

This doctor has, in my opinion, become unfeeling and cruel. I am in pain and he refused to see me. His staff offered no reason why, just said no. This is not the kind of doctor anyone should see.

This MD should be run out of the medical field. He was only interested in me as a patient if I had surgical procedures or injections. He put me on oxycontin and vicodin just to get rid of me. He set a follow up appointment and then rudely dismissed me saying there was nothing more he could do for me and that he could not spend anymore time with me. I would not recommend this doctor to treat my dog. I went to Dr. Joseph Imus who was horrified that I was taking the two most addictive drugs that would kill me if I kept taking them. He got me off of these highly addictive drugs and got me on celebrex and tramadol. I started feeling pain relief instantly. I can not say enough harsh comments about Dr. Fischell. He was awful.

Dr. Fishell is the best! I had a neurostimulator implanted by another physician that was a botched job. Dr. Fishell located the lost leads and sent me to Dr. Rimoldi who performed extensive surgery. Dr. Fishell then did a St. Jude trial which worked great. Dr. Rimoldi has implanted a permanent one and I am so much better. I am so grateful to Dr. Fishell!

saw dr fishell once and thought he was good initially.when he relocated his office from lake meade down into henderson he added staff and two P.A's. Was a patient there for nine years and only saw dr. for injections. was suddenly dropped from their medication mgmt program despite paying bills on time all the time. never heard from dr. either verbally or in a written letter as to why I was being dropped. very unprofessional.Staff behind front desk does not answer telephones. Have to leave msg and hope they call back. They spend more time chewing gum and curling their hair and talking amongst themselves. Epidurals given by dr seldom worked very long if at all. Had to ask P.A several times over several visits to get dr to ok injections. After being thrown to the wind by Fishell found Dr Fabito,an excellent and caring Dr. and I would highly recommend him!!! Fishell and his staff are second class!

Sells worthless injections. Talks down about his staff. Dumps you on a PA asap, Misleading about amount you will be paying. I would hope you might continue looking before you request his services. If you do dispute his bill he does not use a collection agency to go after you. This should not be abused, I think it's his way of saying if the injections don't work, he's not going to take what the insurance co. doesn't pay. Nice office, very spacey.

First visit learned a lot, went ahead scheduled injections. Terrible reaction to 2nd injection, called office, they never called back. Went back, they were full of apologies. Discussed options, agreed to ½ dose. Explained my Primary Doctor had left NV, I may need them to write scripts for pain meds until I found another Primary. Told that was no problem. Called the following wk for meds, got call back - they would NOT write med orders. Called the dr’s office back to cancel injection (scheduled the next day). Stated I could NOT have procedure w/o pain medicine. Told there was nothing they could do, said I would discuss it with the dr on next office visit. Came in for office visit, & I was told they had called me that morning to cancel. Dr is 2 hr. drive so the call was too late. Since I didn’t have injection, they were cancelling the office visit. Explained that I needed to talk to dr about pain meds; they still said NO to office visit. I can NOT imagine recommending this dr to anyone

You do only meet with Dr. Fishell on the initial appt. After that his PAs handle your case. My PA is Chris and he has been excellent in taking care of my Mother & I both. He relays our visit information to Dr. Fishell who has treated both of us for various chronic pain conditions. They do not try to force treatments on you, if they feel you aren't a good candidate for a certain treatment, they'll tell you. 2 yrs. ago my Mom was unable to walk one day. After admittance to the hospital she was diagnosed with recurring disc problems that she had surgery for many yrs. ago. We were told that, because of her age and various other health conditions, there was nothing they could do. I knew Dr. Fishell would be able to help and took her there. He gave her an epideral pain block and she's been able to walk without the pain since until 3 days ago when she fell. I am now going to take her back to Dr. Fishell.
