I too suffered from hypermesis with both of my children and I can say that I felt that I had Dr. McNeely's full attention. He was very proactive and supportive during this time. He is very calming and did his research when it came to trying to help me. I would recommend him to my friends and family. During my delivery he was a pro. I am thankful I had him as my doctor.

Does not diagnose or treat hyperemesis gravidarum. This is MORE than just morning sickness during pregnancy and should be treated. Even with 25-pound+ weight loss, low blood pressure, and pleas for help, he didn't diagnose it, nor did he tell me it will occur in virtually all subsequent pregnancies and should be treated right away or else it's difficult to treat all together. Ladies, if you are losing extreme weight, demand treatment. There are very safe meds to treat this!

Dr. Mc Neely is a wonderful human being, great doctor, except for one thing. He did not educate me on what would happen if I had a hysterectomy. Bad decision. Because I had to take HRT and smoke, I thought that having a hysterectomy would reduce the risk of getting cancer from HRT. Instead, it further depleted my estrogen, Then a year later he told me I could not take the HRT anymore. He should have told me all of this in advance of the surgery since this is a life long quality of life decision that he did not explain. Yes I am a bitter old hag as a result of it. Dr. McNeely should have informed me because I live with this every day of my life now along with osteoporosis and extreme tiredness brought on by lack of hormones. Still I would recommend him, but if you're getting this procedure you should research all the facts that your doctor will not necessarily tell you. Too Bad because otherwise he is an excellent doctor and human being.

Staff very poor quality. One nurse is especially ignorant. Dr. is very knowledgeable. Running sometimes more than an hour late, but I guess that happens w/ good docs.

He was a fantastic doctor! He was willing to go along with my desire of having a vaginal delivery after having a C-section with my first child. He never pressured me to get a C-section even though I was past my due date. I would definitely go with him again if I were to have another child!

Dr. McNeely is a great dr. I to had complications early on in my pregnancy, he took extra time to make sure I knew all that I was up against; and when I called with a concern from home he or someone on his staff call back with in an hour and checked back on me the next day to make sure everything was ok. dr. mcneely and his team are the only dr. and nurses I would want helping me with my difficult pregnancy! My husband and I could not feel more safe in his hands.

It's too bad that the woman below is so bitter. He's one of the best Doctors around! Women wait months to get in to see him, as well as his partners. You can read my response under her post. Unfortunately... any busy doc who is in the middle of being on-call with deliveries and gyn emergencies is capable of not being as compassionate as some expect them to be at that time. But I can assure you, this is not usual for Dr. McNeely!

WONDERFUL OBGYN! Have been a patient for over 4 years now. Was the 1st doctor in over 10 years of searching who took my concerns seriously and was confident performing exploratory surgery for endometriosis. He has given me my life back and has operated on me twice. Wonderful, wonderful surgeon with skills to even remove endometriosis from the bowels/intestines. I can't give him high enough marks! Bedside manner is wonderful! Also, if you have problems that aren't being resolved by traditional medicine, he will take the step to recommend naturopathic/alternative medicine. Don't find many doctors like that these days! While he frequently runs nearly an hour late for appointments, it is well worth the wait to see him. I can't say much for the front desk staff and have had my appointment "bumped" without any call or warning and then was lied to that they left a message with my "work." <--When I didn't work and the number they had was my husband's phone! All in all, A+ for Dr.M!

he delivered our baby boy because he was on call and our primary ob couldn't get there. he was awesome! I feel so lucky because I know it could have turned out different for us w/ the wrong doctor. he was patient with my long labor and never even mentioned c section, which I was so thankful for.

Dr. McNeely is a wonderful, kind, patient & thorough Doctor. I am expecting my first baby & couldn't be happier that he is taking care of me. When having exams performed he is very gentle & kind. He explains everything he is going to do & knows how to put his patients at ease. It isn't uncommon for him to run a lil late but when he is with you he takes his time and shows how much he cares. He is confident, knowledgable, & competent in the work that he does. I have never been made to feel embarrased about asking questions or felt insecure around him. I look forward to each appt. I have with him because I like him so much & he takes such good care of me. Honestly, I could not ask for a much better Gynecologist/Obstetrian.
