Went to see Dr.Acharya for our first pregnancy. Office staff unfriendly except 1 lady. Long wait times. Doctor didnt have time to answer questions properly. Gave her benefit of doubt and thought it'd be better next time. Felt a little better and continued visits. Felt she does quite a few ultrasounds(wife had one every visit for 4 months and then changed doctors as we moved across country). On 1st visit, she advised that we do pap smear as general health check up and do blood work related to pregnancy and we said ok. After few months, got collection notices from Quest saying insurance declined payment. Insurance says you exceeded annual limit for general checkups.Found that her office billed pap smear and blood work (related to pregnancy) under health checkup. Been trying to get doctor's office to correct billing codes but to no avail.After 5 months of trying, I am giving up. Needless to say, I won't recommend this doctor to anyone based on my bad experience with doctor,staff &billing

Dr Acharya is an excellent doctor above all she is an excellent human being , she is so nice and caring and the best part is , despite having so many patients and being so busy , gives personal attention to each & every patient . she has an excellent memory and is extremly sharp doctor. would recomend her anytime... i would say if you want to be in expert hands , Dr Rashmi Acharya is the name !

She is excellent Dr. my wife had delivery on 28 Jan 2009. she tried her best to get normal delivery.but latter on our luck was not with us. But she was there throughout the day . i was not expecting her presence throughout day in this situation. I am really thankful to her as well i would like to recommended Dr. Acharya to everybody.She is honest and clear about what she needs to do and when to do.She answer you question anytime you ask her whiteout any hesitation.

Rashmi Acharya is an excellent excellent Doctor..very down to earth,she is so nice and answers all the questions very patiently. If somebody wants to visit a good Gynecologist..no doubt she is the best...believe me, I have never met such a great doctor who never rushes up the things eventhough she is busy with many patients

Excellent doctor and and equally good human being. She is very calm and patient and answers all your queries/concerns. I love to go for my scheduled visits as she makes it a wonderful experience. Based on my personal experience with her I can confidently say that she is easily the best OB/GYN, at least in central Jersey. I strongly recommend her to all those who want to make their pregnancy a beautiful and fulfilling experience.

I found chaos at the reception with other patients reporting not maintaining a serial order of first come first serve basis.Also, there is not proper observance of HIPAA LAWS. Anyone could hear what the office staff is talking to the patients in the reception area.(its a small window which is mostly open and the door is also left open. The dr is always in rush, lots of patients and she is the only doctor. Hence you get very less time where she can spend with you. Bad is that I was promised to get the blood results the day after, as told by doctor, but after 5 days including a weekend, I am calling and the results are not in yet. Office staff are hopeless and need to be more effective. If you can bear all this, please go with this doctor, else see someother doctor.

I am very happy with Dr Acharya she delivered my first baby and now the second one-she is patient answers all questions is polite and available at all times.I will recommend her to everyone.one of the finest doctors in this area

The doctor is overbooked with patients all the time. Does not volunteer any information. You have to do your own research and ask her questions. She gets irritated if you ask her questions and will rush you out of the office. Her staff is full of rude and unprofessional women. Avoid this doctor and find someone who will take the time to answer your questions.

I felt a total lack of professionalism during my visits.She has poor bed side manners,rushed and hardly discussed over my concerns,As this was my first pregnancy.also lack of care and compassion was deeply perceived.Lacks proper knowledge.I was stressed,Avoid her at any cost.

I did not get comfort visting her or feel at ease. She does not discuss any possible complications or any pregnancy issues with you. You need to ask her something 10 times before you get 1 word answer "YES" or "no". When you go to an OB/GYN doctor you expect compassion, empathy and that you are in good hands and that all will be taken care of BUT in this case you have to worry about your ownself and cannot expect any of the above. she was perhaps good in joint practice whit DR Chaubey and DR cogliani butat her individual practice she just seems stressed and least interested in her patients.

she is the best ob/gyn in NJ. Her clinic is far away from my home still I prefer her. She always provides emergency appointment at the same day :) I love Dr. Rashmi and she returns all your calls even at mid night. Staff is helpful too.

Dr.Acharya is hands down the best in the industry.She is a great doctor and a wonderful person. Not the one who waits for you out of her examination room. Takes time to ans all ur questions, makes u very comfortable. She is god sent. Pick her as your doctor and you will thank yourself for having done that.

Dr. Acharya is truly an exceptional human being and an exceptional doctor on top of that. It is rare to find the qualities that she has, she truly cares for you and your child. Time, respect, understanding, she has everything and far surpasses most of her peers in the OB field hands down. If you truly want to feel comfortable throughout your pregnancy you should be wise to choose her as your OB. You will truly be sad after the birth of your child becasue she is someone you wont see as often. Just have another one quickly thats all!

Dr. Acharya is one of the best doctors that I have ever come across. She is Very helpful, caring. I had a sudden complication and she tried her best and did a normal delivery. Every thing went on really kool. She gave us all time on the earth to answer our questions. I am 100%.. rather i should say 110% satisfied. Her staff also accommodated our emergency visit with out any problems

Dr. Acharya is a wonderful doc- I was TERRIFIED of gynecologists before i got to her...I am through with that fear now, al thanks to her!all went really smoothly, no anxiety, no rushing...she takes no chances with the baby- goes out of the way to make sure that you and the baby are safe (and happy!)!

I am not Indian doctor told me to find another doctor. My baby had problem in the brain no one in the office new about it.I was not told doctor is out of country for 10 days when I needed her.

we saw dr acharya and was impressed by her knowledge,the amount of time she gave us ,the way she answered all our questions and above all the genuine caring nature of her,she is down to earth and is always reachable,the staff is polite,helpful and accomodating with emergencies.

Dr. Acharya is one of the best doctors that I have ever come across. She delivered by son who is 2.5 yrs old now. Her caring and warm personality comes through. I am so glad that she opened her own practice in Plainsboro. I will be seeing her for my next visit.

I truly love Dr. Acharya not only as a doctor, but as a person. I had the opportunity to work in the office and be a patient of hers at the same time. She did such a fantastic job in the delivery my 15m old son. I wish that I can still have the opportunity to be in her presence, because she is humble & caring. She is a very competent doctor and very humble and down to earth too. She listens to your problems patiently ans immediately makes you feel at ease. I think i am in good hands. She also has a very friendly and competent secretary and we are glad to see her back from vacation :-). They make a good team.
