:( Click to report rating    11/16/09 4 4 2 2  I've had this dentist for years- years without a cavity- he didn't have to do much work on my teeth so I thought he was doing a good job. I recently had a to have a previous filling refilled and right after he stopped drilling on my tooth he asked about how my bite felt. I said that it didn't feel normal. He handed me my purse without doing any further checks- no bite paper at all to check my bite. (It was very clear to me that he was in a hurry to get on to someone else or leave). I went in a second time after tremendous pain & even though he did use bite paper to check my bite that time, a month later I am going to another dentist and still having terrible problems with the tooth/bite that was not bothering me a bit even with the "cavity." I questioned the need to re-do the filling anyway as it was less than 10 years old, but this doctor insisted that it was necessary. At this point I am questioning this and everything else about this dentist.

:( Click to report rating    2/6/09 4 1 1 2  Dr. Cahow left me waiting in the chair after the hygenist was finished for an hour last year before I left. The hygenist said that he would take a look at my xrays and call me if there were any problems. I decided to go back and give him another chance but this year he scolded me for not getting a cavity filled. I didn't even know about the cavity! I won't get another cavity filled by him. The last one I got filled, he was rough and I was sore for days. I definitely wouldn't recommend him.
