Dr. Abbott is very knowledgeable and helpful doctor when I first saw him for a lung infection. He became my primary care physician after the first visit. His staff is busy but overall friendly. The office wait is longish but not much longer than most NYC doctor offices. Every doctor uses referrals in their own circle of doctors. It is what they know and quite normal. So far I have had no complaints about the service or care from his office. His main assistant Natasha is great!

Always's booked so prepare to spend at least a few hours. He treated me for pneumonia in 1989 and he has been my parents primary physician for over 10 years. I trust him and his bedside manner is very good. Just his waiting time is very difficult to adjust to.

This Dr. and his entire office are greedy and unethical. For even the most simple ailment, they give you many tests, each billed to your insurance, even tests that have nothing to do with your complaint. Whenever I would visit, I would spend 1 hour waiting, 20 minutes with a medical technician, then the doctor would sit at his desk and tell you what the technician had discovered, Every other doctor he referred me to was part of his company, so all the money came back to them. It took them over 7 months to diagnose a cough I had as an allergy.

I found him very helpful. Ignore the comment below, it's obviously for someone else because the rater wrote she and Dr. Abbott is male! I recommend him!
