After her first few years at UPMC, she received a greatly deserved award from the institution known as the Award for Committment and Excellence in Services (ACES)Award. Which is a well deserved recognition for her devotion and dedication to her patients! She is the best Doc in Pittsburgh!

Jodie Strauss has perfected practicing both the art and the science of medicine. She cares about the whole person, not just the disease process. She heals both your body as well as your soul. Isn't that what we all want? A doctor who is both competent AND compassionate? I know I do, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Pittsburgh area. She's one in a million in these days of managed care!

I agree with previous comments. Dr. Strauss is fantastic. She's smart, kind, and really cares about you as a person. While her partners are also excellent doctors, I would recommend Dr. Strauss is want an excellent doctor who also takes the time to treat you like a person.

Dr. Strauss is a compassionate and competent physician who really listens to her patients. When I went to Dr. Strauss, I had been sick for some time and didn't know why. Every step of the way, Dr. Strauss was on board helping me discover the source of the problem. A few months, some tests, and a surgical procedure later, I've never felt better. I really appreciate and value the quality care I received from her along with her personable and caring doctoring style.

I have been chronically ill since infancy and have been lucky enough to have been a native of Pittsburgh and have always had access to outstanding medical care, however, many times I have had to sacrifice compassion in a physician for medical expertise. I have been a patient of Dr. Strauss' since 2004 and it took me until then to realize that TRUE caring, compassion, AND medical expertise are available in one package - and her name is Dr. Jodie Strauss. She makes you feel very comfortable and is very approachable, and a GREAT patient advocate. I feel truly blessed to know that she is my doctor, and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!
