This doctor was the worst I've ever seen. I had an ongoing pain and prolapse. She treated me like an incompetent patient and had the worst bedside manner I'd ever experienced. If you are considering her for your doctor I would think again...if you wanted to be treated with respect and compassion look elsewhere. She needs to be in a career that does not involve contact with people.

I would not recommend this doctor for high risk pregnancies. I went to her after conceiving twins via IVF. First, she seemed annoyed that we knew so much about the pregnancy going in - she refused to believe that we knew what we were talking about despite having had multiple ultrasounds and tests after the IVF procedure. Second, because I had had toxemia during a previous pregnancy, she insisted that I *would* get it again (I didn't) and that I would never make it to 36 weeks (I did). She had a nasty habit of telling me horror stories, telling me that I would lose my babies if I even questioned her, and basically doing everything she could to increase my anxiety levels (not good as I have serious anxiety issues to begin with). Fortunately, I gained a balanced perspective from the excellent docs at Evergreen MFM, whom I considered my "real" doctors. Had I not been mostly relying on MFM for advice, I would have fired her early on.

I found Dr. Z to be an absolutely wonderful doctor. She was easy to talk to, and I felt I could discuss anything with her. She cared for me during both of my pregnancies and delivered both of my children, and I was sad to hear she has since retired. She is very straightforward and no nonsense, which I liked.

Horrible doctor, she was using her pager all the time during my visit. She did not pay attention to my needs. She ended up telling me to get advil, I do not really think that I should go to a doctor to get this kind of diagnosis and results.

Dr. Zabriskie ("Dr. Z" as the receptionists call her) is probably fine for routine gynecological exams, but was unable to give clear, straight answers to questions I had. No need to take my word for it: feel free to speak with her yourself before judging. Just don't hesitate to go elsewhere if you get the same impression I did.

This woman is incompetant and negligant. She should not have a medical license and if you know anyone seeing her tell them to leave that practice immediately. Her negligant care has just resulted in the death of one of her patients as well the birth of my stillborn son.

For basic, boring pregnancies, Dr. Z is great. She has a no nonsense way about her and will help calm your fears. Be careful though if you are higher risk. She tends to downplay things that other doctors would investigate further. Be your own advocate with her and you'll be happy with your care.
