Words cannot express exactly how exceptional Dr. Abusharr and his staff are to their patients. My entire immediate family is patients of Dr. Abusharr and I have referred several friends and other family members to him based solely on the thorough, consistent and excellent care he and his staff provide. Dr. Abusharr is unlike any other physician. He listens very patiently, educates his patients effectively and never hesitates to explain in detail. For example, my twelve year old sister has asthma and wasn't really educated on the workings of her condition when she came to the office for the first time. Dr. Abusharr drew diagrams, printed out information, and made sure that she fully understood the possible causes and exacerbating factors associated with asthma. He always exceeds my expectations as a physician and continually strives to provide better and better care. The staff is friendly very efficient and are always very polite and pleasant!

Dr. Raja is wonderful. He took the time to visit with me and listen to what I had to say. I really liked him and am thankful that I found him. One of the best doctors I've had in years.

Simply the best. As a person and a Dr. Abusharr is wonderful. Intelligent without arrogance, connects well with all types of patients. My Teenagers absolutely loved him! Takes an incredible amount of time(I am chatty and he was graceful about me hogging his time). With complex and somewhat rare medical needs, he is willing to research and find solutions. His staff and office are outstanding. We all felt completely comfortable. We have seen a lot of Dr.'s over the years because of specialized medical needs and this guy tops them all with beside manner and knowledge- He is passionate about being a truly great Dr.

Dr. Abusharr is without a doubt a paragon... His sedulous, and energetic approach to medicine combined with his jovial personality makes him a "TOP DOC" in my eyes, and so many others. His office is soothing, evoking peace, and calmness. The staff... Almost every other physicians office I have ever been to the staff has been dry, unconcerned, and most times obsequious. At Dr Abusharrs office it is the opposite. They are genuinely kind, caring, warm and compassionate. All of these mellifluous combined characteristics, is what makes up a really great experience, when having to see a Doctor. I will continue to sing his praises to any, and everyone I come in contact with. Truly, truly an amazing guy... Finally a Doc who cares about his patients, loves his job, and who is NOT just about the money. Thank you for being you!

Dr. Abusharr is a fantastic doctor! Many of his patients probably just think of him as their doctor for coughs and colds but Dr. Abusharr is so much more!He is responsible for saving my mother's life. In April, my mom presented to a local ER very sick. Previous to this she had been in the same hospital 2 weeks ago and had been misdiagnosed. We had never met Dr. Abusharr before but by the grace of God, he was on call in the ER that night. He ran all the proper testing as well as brought in all the necessary physicians to consult on the case and determined the cause of my mother's illness. She was sent downtown for emergency open-heart surgery. The whole time Dr. A kept in contact with us and followed her progress. He has provided her aftercare as well and has been our family's angel! We owe so much to Dr. A for going above and beyond and having the knowledge, compassion and expertise to save my mother's life! We are forever grateful!

My husband and I recently moved to Texas(Spring) and were very happy to have found Dr. Abushar. He takes all the time that you need to discuss your treatment plan and to offer the best options.

Dr. Abusharr is an excellent doctor. He listens to his patients and he explains in detail all aspects of the recommended treatment plan. He does not rush to prescribe drugs as a quick fix. He works hard to help his patients create realistic life style changes that solve medical problem prior to putting someone on prescription medication. It has taken me a long time to find a Doctor I like and trust in The Woodlands area. I am glad Dr. Abusharr opened Sterling Ridge Family Medicine. In addition, he has late weeknight hours on Tuesday and Thursday plus office hours on Saturday which is awesome.

As a third-year medical student from Baylor College of Medicine with experience working with a variety doctors in a variety of disciplines, it has been a distinct privilege to learn from Dr. Abusharr. He is a role model in every respect - incredibly knowledgeable, rational, and ready to handle all aspects of any complex patient situation. But he is even more kind and humane, with a sense of humor and enormous heart that has his patients smiling when they walk out the door. His patients adore him, and every day they compliment him to me.
I'm very lucky he was willing to take a student during the month I happened to be on my Family Medicine rotation. He is a fantastic teacher, not just for students like me, but for his patients; he sits down and takes the time to explain all aspects of a medical condition to ensure his patients understand what they need to know. I will never forget him. It is not an exaggeration to say that I'll draw upon memories of Dr. Abusharr when I try to make myself the best doctor I can be.

I visited Dr. Abusharr to remove skin tags. The results was way above my expectations, he did a much better job than my dermatologist. The staff is very friendly and the clinic is very modern and spotless.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Abusharr, our family met him at the hospital when he was the on call doctor. My mother being 85 yrs old and was in and out of the hospital without getting better and her previous doctor was pretty much guessing on her diagnoises. Dr. Abusharr appeared and took care of her issues that had been haunting our family with her in and out of the hospital. Not to say he is absolutly wonderful with geriatrics. I have switched my daughter and myself and a few if my friends have switched to Dr Abusharr. He is so caring and spends time with his patients. My brother flew in from out of state to see my mother when she was in the hospital and Dr. Abusharr made a special trip to the hospital on a Sunday evening at 9:00pm to meet my brother and discuss my mothers situation with him. As I said, I really cannot say enough out him, you have to see your self. I promise you will not be disappointed.

A+ doctor all the way. Our family was so fortunate to be referred to him. I can't say enough great things about the Dr. and his staff. I really appreciate having a doctor who comes into the room, sits down and actually listens to everything you have to say. He never once rushed through our conversation or made me feel that he had somewhere else to be. My husband who never goes to doctors(really girls we all have husbands like that) was extremely impressed and actually made a follow-up appointment. Thank-you Dr.Abusharr for being the family doctor other doctors can only dream of being.

Love the staff..and the doctor is awsome. He actually took the time to speak to me. He didn't just rush me through my appointment. The ladies at the front and nurses could not have been sweeter. Love the office. It was clean and had a place for the kids to play will we waited..which was not long! Looking forward to having Dr. Abusharr for a long time:)

The doctor seems very friendly and nice. Although I was 30min late. The staff forgot about me, and I waited 1hr 1/2 before I got in, and they took in patients that came in after me. Also what the heck, it takes 72 hrs to get a prescription? Am I supposed to suffer first? The nurse was not knowledgeable at all!

Words can not express the gratitude that my husband and I have regarding the way Dr. Abusharr took care of him in the hospital. His bedside manner is any patient's dream come true! he took the time to get to know my husband's medical background with his questioning and time spent with us. NOT JUST CHART REVIEW. Thank you for making us feel like we were the only patient as well as the impeccable care.

Dr. Abusharr helped me, and my family, through a very difficult time. I was in the hospital for a couple of weeks and there was not a day where he did not stop in to give me updates and he always called to check in on me. He was my biggest advocate and as some one else said, an "old fashioned" doc. He really got to know my family (& extended) and would come in and sit down and just talk/listen. He takes a holistic approach to medicine and is extremely thorough. Since meeting him, my husband, and extended family have/plan to switch to Dr. Abusharr. I can't say enough wonderful things about him and his staff. A complete 5 star experience which is unheard of these days...I've been to over 10 diff. docs in The Woodlands in the past 10 years and not one can touch Dr. Abusharr.

From the minute I walked into the clinic I was greeted by a wonderful receptionist, turned out to be Dr. Abusharr's wife, extremely friendly and down to earth. She played with my daughter and offered me help while I try to fill the forms. I met Dr. Abusharr and he was wonderful with my daughter, I can't say enough good things about him, he is fun with children, has great knowledge and understanding to my concerns. The office is modern and clean and one of the best family doctors clinic in the area. A+ experience I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for good medical care.

This was my first doctor's visit in 20+ years. It was an extremely positive experience! We sat and talked a few minutes before the exam to get to "know" each other; He took the time to ask the right questions, and answer any I had. This was even before any exam took place. Super nice guy and straight-forward. Very relaxing atmosphere; Patricia (nurse), was great as well. I am not a fan of blood draws, but she was patient and very gentle. The office is clean, modern and tidy (paperless helps). Also a big plus that labs are performed on-site in minutes - none of this "wait three days" business. He will be my GP. Superb experience.
