Dr. Brown gave me my life back. I had been struggling with Fibromyalgia and CFS for a decade, and then one day my girlfriend suggested him. I cannot tell the world how much this one Dr. has meant to me and my life. He is kind, compassionate, listen's and does all the proper tests to give you the best/correct diagnosis. I hope he doesn't retire soon, I would drive 500 miles for an appointment with him. Thank you also to the wonderful staff. You also make the environment so pleasant. Very refreshing.

Dr. Brown is a great guy! I am 24 and have FMS/CFS and see him every 2-3 months and I go to college. Being male, it's tough with this illness. Dr. Brown works with you. The post below confirm this and I think he is one of the most caring doctors there is. I flipped my truck over trying to get to see him and he was so caring. Great guy, highly recommend. Writes outstanding letters of recommendation too. Thanks DB.

I have been seeing Paul Brown, MD, PhD, for over a decade. I have seen other rheumatologists in the Seattle area and he is the best diagnostician of all of them. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate and patient. He is excellent at explaining your illness and treatment options and makes sure that all of your questions are answered before you leave his office. Dr. Brown is aggressive in his treatments but will take other avenues if you prefer. He will give you whatever medicine is necessary to keep you pain-free so you can continue to function but does so judiciously. He is willing to work in concert with alternative medical practitioners such as acupuncturist, naturopaths and nutritionist. Dr. Brown has a thorough understanding of disability law and will fight for you when dealing with private short and long term disability insurance and Social Security Disability Insurance. I have referred many people to him and all have been happy with him.

Dr. Brown is so awesome. He'll help you anyway possible and will listen and then prescribe what he deems appropriate. What I like is that you get to have an input into what medications you want to take. He sees some crazy stuff, and I can only speak highly of Dr. Brown and his wonderful staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Brown's for over 7 years and I can't say enough about him. I had fibro for over 4 years before he correctly diagnosed it and he has been managing my care ever since. I couldn't work full time without Dr. Brown's management and care. His staff, especially his nurse, Polly, are great and an extension of the care and support he provides. You get what you pay for and with Dr. Brown - its the very best.

Although Dr. Brown does not take any insurance, he is well worth the money I pay to see him every couple months. I went to several doctors over a matter of years trying to figure out why I was always in so much pain and tired all the time. I had thought I was going insane. Dr. Brown did a complete physical on me, blood work, several tests and then told me about Fibromyalgia. He is very informative, helpful, caring, stands up for the rights of his patients and has made me feel like I am a person again. He also will not tolerate breaking his office rules ~ which I find is a great thing. At times, he may think you are finished with the appointment, but if you say you are not, he will sit back down until you are done. He looks you dead in the eye when he talks with you, and his staff is just as good. People come from all over to see him. My own mother travels 3.5 hours ~ and this is not uncommon.

Dr. Paul B Brown is outstanding. He knows his specialty and has refered me to many other specialist. He has also helped me get my test results from other clinics who were slow, by requesting that they send the results to him asap.

Consulted with Dr. Paul Brown for a second opinion and never returned to my former rheumatologist! He is abreast of developments in rheumatology & fibromyalgia. Ordered tests that my other rheumatologist never considered, & also referred me to a neurologist & an endocrinologist for a complete evaluation. He is confident and compassionate, understanding the impact of chronic pain and illness. He left his former big clinic & stopped taking/billing insurance to focus on patient care, & it shows.

I really like Dr. Brown. He knows his drugs and when and how to use them. If you take an active roll in managing your own healthcare, he'll really be excited to help you, and willing to try whatever you are. I could not speak more highly of Dr. Brown and his staff.

Dr. Brown is a really good guy. He puts you first and is not afraid to run more tests, and refer you to other specialists. I am so glad I am seeing Dr. Brown. He greets you upon your first visit and there is virtually no waiting time. Very, very prompt, kind, caring, and devoted to providing you, the patient, the best medical care available. Great for internal concerns and like I said, he will refer you to other specialists to rule out other possible illnesses. Well worth the money and time invested. Thanks Dr. Brown!

Paul Brown knows fibromyalgia & FM patients. FM is a dificult syndrome to treat because so much is yet to learn @ it, and patients w/ FM have lost so much, but he handles it all swiftly, w/ empathy and cutting edge medicine.
