21/05/14 2 3 5 5 I would like to express my liking with Dr. Chabaty. He has been a very good doctor with my medical issues. He allways takes the time to talk to me and send me for tests (if need be) He has referred to specialist in which I am very happy with the care that I have received and will continue to receive. The Office that he works in the north end is not very clean and he deserves to be in a more professional environment. He maintains professionalism and is a asset to that clinic.  Respond

26/02/14 1 1 3 4 This doctor is ok. Depends on his mood for the day. Sometimes when he walks in to the clinic you can almost tell how he'll treat you. I've been seen by both the doctors at this clinic and I can say that Dr. Chubaty is much more professional than that other sorry excuse for a doctor (Dr. Chubaty is much cleaner too) the other one is dirty and iffy wouldn't trust that one with my life!  Respond

23/09/13 4 4 5 5 Dr. Chubaty is very knowledgeable. When I was telling him about my symptoms he sent me for tests right away. We found cancer and if he wasn't knowledgeable the right tests would not have been requested. Since my operation he has continued to keep tabs on my condition. I believe he saved my life and will continue to be my best defence.

17/09/13 5 5 5 5 A lot of people abuse this service and as a medical practitioner he can't deny them service. I can understand the frustration because employees including himself are subject to abuse themselves by patients.

17/06/13 5 4 5 4 Dr Chubaty saved my life! I agree that he doesn't have the best 'bed side manner', His office is small and crowded, and his clients may seem sketchy at times(which is not his fault) But he was the ONLY doctor to take my heath problems seriously. He did not hesitate to get me an MRI, which I had been requesting from other doctors for years and denied for one excuse or another. Dr. Chubaty's quick action resulted in the discovery of a large lesion on my brain and a large aneurysm that was ready to pop. I could have died ANY MINUTE. I am now slotted for surgery. Please, give this man credit. He sees alot of patients daily and is very knowledgeable. He fills a need many doctors probably couldn't. Also his staff have always been very good.  Respond

30/05/13 3 5 5 5 Dr. Chubaty is very helpful. He makes sure to explain everything throughly so I understand. If he wasn`t knowledgable and through he would not of found my cancer. I`m thankful for his help.

05/03/13 5 1 1 1 t his doctor does not care about myself as a patient, he's forever going on holiday, rushes me every time, never refers me ever!! i had recent trauma, & attending doctor who took real good care of me, suggested i be referred to an E.N.T., and nothing happened! he is really bad at keeping my medication from being issued on time , this is why i would rather sit at the hospital in emergency room, at least those particular few good doctors attended the issue, took me seriously thank goodness, i contracted a very serious ear infection that could've caused seriously permanent damage, yet he never referred me, it sucks because i have yet to get a doctor who knows what ther're doing,in this city, because he is clueless at how to be human  Respond

08/01/13 3 2 1 1 After being hospitalized overnight in Texas, we headed back to Canada. Saw Dr.Chubaty the next day. He didn't run one test or seem too concerned that I had been hospitalized at all. Just said to "continue with the meds you were given". I had hoped for more tests as I had a possible TIA in Texas. He did not seem to care. Has patients every 5 minutes. He is only here from Phoenex to make money. His office is old & smells & he won't put a penny into painting it or cleaning it.

06/11/12 1 1 1 1 This was the most disgusting clinic I've ever set foot in. If anyone happens to come across these comments and ratings, please do take them into consideration and DO NOT bother setting up an appointment with this Dr. or if you already have, reschedule ASAP. The first thing that was a huge bother to me was that when I talked to the woman at the front desk about being there for an appointment, she didn't ask for my name or the time I was there to see the doctor...She just took my health card, scanned it and was like, "take a seat..." IN WHICH THERE WAS NO WHERE TO SIT! It was packed. Kids sitting on the floor crying. Just. No. After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time, I ended up asking how much longer it would be till I could see the doctor and was told, he hasn't even shown up, so they had no idea! and estimated time once he got there, 2 hours. If I wanted to sit in a dirty walk in clinic and wait 4 hours, I wouldn't of made an APPOINTMENT. Disappointing. Disgusting.  Respond

06/10/12 1 1 1 1 I've Been to see this man 3 times as he's my closest walk in doctor, I have never left without a prescription I didn't want or need. I came in with rib pain (which turned out to be broken dispite the doctors claims) and left with 100 T3's instead on X-rays and help and needed. Terrible.  Respond

27/09/12 2 4 2 2 Dr. Chubaty works out of a walk in clinic with some of Winnipegs lowest waiting to see a doctor. These people are entitled to health car too of course. I would suggest they try to stagger the days or something though. I grew up in the north end and the clients in his waiting room were even somewhat of a shock to me. I can only imagine what someone who has led a sheltered life walking in there would think. If you want to experience a side of life that you will never see or hear about anywhere just go to his walk in on a thursday morning and wait in line before opening. My first and last appt with Dr Chubaty I felt was a waste of time. His answer to my problem was wait and see what happens and go to the drug store for a off the shelf appliance. I felt very rushed and insignificant. The pharmacist at the drug store actually helped me pinpoint things more than Dr. Chubaty. I guess everyone has their niches.  Respond

26/09/12 5 5 5 5 You are criticizing Dr. C for the behavior of his patients?!? That hardly seems fair. I guess he should only accept a certain "class" of patient? Dr.C listened to my concerns, discussed my options in great length and allowed me to ask further questions. He was knowledgable and very helpful.  Respond

13/07/12 3 5 2 1 The first time I consulted Chubaty, he refused to perform an examination and told me to my face that I might be lying about my health concerns. He's competent enough to operate some kind of aesthetic fat clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona...but I had NO appreciation whatsoever for the BLATANT condescension, contempt, and disdain he showed me. He interrupted me no less than five times in less than five minutes (shoulda knocked his UNprofessional ass OUT!!!). He changed his tune when I challenged him and told him what an ass he was...I'm at least getting my EIA Disability forms filled out next Tuesday... And yes, he makes a point of asking if I want any "medicine". Hell: after 13 surgical procedures, and with at least 3 more to go, I don't DO "pain killers"....I would be a drooling idiot...wouldn't I??? I still say that I have a better education than this man does: all his years of training & experience have NOT made of him an HUMANITARIAN.  Respond

19/04/12 4 3 1 1 This doctor is extremely unpleasant, unhelpful and unprofessional, there is no passion, concern or acknowledgement of the patient. One feels like the doctor really doesn't want to be there and you're more of an annoyance to him.  Respond

13/04/12 1 4 2 2 I only saw Dr Chubaty once when my regular dr ( in the same office ) was to busy. I had just gotten whiplash. He asked me if I wanted oxycotin. I told him no and he sent me on my way. I am at the office often while I recover from my injuries, and at any given time there are 20 ppl waiting to see him all sitting in the waiting room loudly talking about how they are there to pick up oxy to sell at a party they are going to that night. The receptionists seem scared to deal with these people and wont ask them to stop swearing in the office. They also harrass the pharmasist when he wont give them drugs they dont have a script for. He only seems helpful to users who need a quick fix. ( only spends 5 min with each paitent ) If it wasnt for the fact that I love my Dr who is in the same office, I wouldnt walk in there without a police escort.  Respond
