I feel blessed to have my baby son in Dr. Karges' care. He came to see my son within hours of being born and my husband, me, the baby, and the baby's godfather adore his sense of humor and quality of work. For once I get a physician that makes me feel like a good mom instead of dehumanizing me for being a 17 year old with a baby.

8/13/12 | 5 | 3 | 5 | 5 | Dr. K is Great!! Our son has Autism and limited speech. From day 1 Dr. K treated our son like a Reg child. He's current on Autism info (if not he'll help you get info or contact support). Dr. K is open to hearing about other forms of treating children w/Autism inc. holistics & supplement treatments. Staff is helpful too. Yes, there sometine can be long waits, but he's worth it. Also, love the new location of the office and design of the office. *****+ | Respond |

Dr. K is such a wonderful doctor. I previously took my two oldest children to a diff ped and switched to him when I was expecting again. What a difference it was. He asks you, the parent, questions and wants to know what you are thinking. He is very considerate and knowledgable. He is laid back, but he is thorough if any problem arises. I also like that his office has PA's and an ARNP. Great staff and I have been able to get my kids in pretty quickly. They are also open half a day on Saturday for sick kids.

Dr. Karges is awesome! He is very thorough with both of my children. He is willing to listen to me no matter how long he has to stand there. He understands in the things where I show concern. He explains everything very well. He goes above and beyond. Wonderful doctor. The older nurse lady is not friendly at all....a grump! But Dr. K is really great.

I took my 4 year-old to this doctor after going through a lot of trouble with another doctor for a persistant cough (for almost 3 years). He was very nice to my fiance however was very condescending to myself. He treated me like a bad mother for taking my child to the ER for a fever of almost 103 degrees. He then proceeded to tell me to use cough syrup to get my child to sleep. He also told me he could not help my daughter with her cough. His office gave me 5 referrals all for places that did not accept my insurance, then acted like it was my fault they did not accept it and I could not pay out of pocket therefore she could not have the procedures instead of finding a place that did. He talked to me like I was a 5 year-old and did not know what was best for my daughter. I will be changing doctors. I have never had a doctor that told me to give my coughing child cough medicine every night to make her sleep. Not to mention the fact that he said "he couldn't help her".

9/13/07 | 5 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Dr Kargas is extremely knowledgable regarding infant nutrition and extended breastfeeding. After being hounded by several doctors to wean my 2 year old, he praised me for still nursing. They took us in a sick visit before even coming to them for a well baby. The office is always cheerful and he is fantastic. He talked to both myself and my partner (her poppa) about our daughter and made us feel listened to. | Respond |
