30/04/14 5 5 5 5 Dr Chang and his staff were helpful , caring and very professional in my care . I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery and aftercare . I can't say enough about the office staff . They all made an unfortunate situation ( medically neccesary emergency surgery ) as pleasant as anyone could hope for .  Respond

22/04/14 5 5 5 5 I had breast augmentation with Dr. chang recently and had an excellent experience with both him and his staff. Dr. Chang took the time with me to really make sure I was happy with my decision before moving forward with surgery. He took such great care of me during and after the procedure and was generally interested in how I was doing and how happy I was. I'm very glad that I chose nouveau construct center as the facility for my procedure and will be returning for more since they have a medical spa! Dr. Chang truly had a unique way of approaching his surgery and I would call him an artist! I am very happy with my results and the relationship I have built with him and the staff.  Respond

15/04/14 5 5 5 5 Prior to seeing Dr. Chang an incorrect surgical procedure had been performed on my knee. Fluid was collecting in the knee area and Dr. Chang, understanding the danger, immediately performed the CORRECT surgical procedure. I was impressed with Dr. Chang's knowledge, his concern and taking the necessary steps within a couple of days. The orthopedic practice making the mistake simply told me, "We don't know what to do", and literally left me without any direction for assistance. My GP and a general surgeon recommended Dr. Chang and I am extremely grateful they made a suitable recommendation. I not only was impressed with Dr. Chang; I also include his entire staff. The moment I walked into his office and began talking with him I felt confident I was finally getting the assistance required. I would highly recommend this doctor.  Respond

13/12/13 2 1 2 4 The first time i saw dr. chang,i waited along time,in waiting room as well in exam room.when he came in he was polite seemed very knowledgeable, and truthfully I was impressed with his credentials. He spent decent amount of time with me.today when i went back for proceedure, removing cyst, and susupicious cancer lesion,I did not think i was in the same office,he was rushed,in and out of the room, and downright RUDE!I will return for stitch removal, but will have to think long and hard about ever going back after that.Pateints do not deserve to be treated beyond poorly!Glad to know in reading other comments,i am not alone.

20/03/13 5 5 5 5 I would highly recommend Dr. Chang based on many factors. I feel he is skilled in his surgical abilities and has a good aesthetic perception. He cares about achieving the best results. He is both professional and personable. He asked the right questions and took the time to discuss options for obtaining desired results. He made himself very available for questions and follow up. I had a brow lift, eyelid surgery, face lift, and liposuction, tummy tuck and fat injections in the breast. I am extremely happy with the results and would give him an A to an A+! I look like myself only younger and better:) He has a warm and knowledgeable support staff and team members as well.  Respond

05/03/13 5 2 1 2 I was a cosmetic patient. I had read many reviews on plastic surgeons and went on a different consults to get a feel for the drs and even though dr. Chang was not the highest rating, his cosmetic coordinator, Amy made me feel so completely comfortable and made me feel like I was in good hands. Amy spent more time with me then dr. Chang. He rushed in almost as if I was bothering him, spent approximately 5 minutes explaining more of what he couldn't do for me then what he could do and never asked if I had any questions. In fact, he said Amy would be able to answer any questions I may have. I could tell by the look on her face that she felt bad that he rushed my consult...exactly the comments I heard when asking around about plastic surgeons. A consult that the other drs I had been to spent at least 30 to 45 min in the room with me. It was because of Amy's knowledge and extreme compassion for her patients, I had surgery with Chang. He then sent his PA into discharge me!  Respond

21/04/11 5 5 5 5 I consulted with a few doctors before choosing Dr Chang. I am delighted with my decision! He was very knowledgable & professional. I loved that he didn't talk down to me like many other doctors. He made sure I had his cell number 'just in case'. I never had a long office wait and the staff was always friendly. 06/04/11 5 4 5 5 My experience with Dr. Chang and his entire team has been nothing but positive and encouraging. Dr. Chang explained my surgery to me, what he was envisioning for me and told me how great I would look. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Chang because he took the time to listen to what I was looking for and gave me the results that I had only dreamed about. Choosing Dr. Chang and his team was the best decision that I’ve ever made in regards to my tummy tuck.

23/01/11 5 5 5 5 Exemplary care received from Dr. Chang. Diagnosed with malignant melanoma and had 2 surgeries. There have been multiple visits for exam and follow-up and very impressed by the skill and knowledge of Dr. Lawrence Chang. Very patient and very attentive to our needs, treating us with as much time as we needed to ask questions and understand the treatment and post operative plan. Rarely waited 15 mins and his staff is great!!Very helpful and caring--especially navigating the nightmare of the many requests of insurance co and disability provider. Highly recommend!!

15/07/10 5 5 5 5 I would strongly recommend Dr. Chang for surgery. He took his time to explain exactly what he was going to do, how he would do it and how I would feel post op. I am so pleased with the results. I am three weeks post op today and I can breathe better and I have not had a sinus headache since my surgery. His staff was very helpful and kind. I have now had 5 appointments with his office and they have all been scheduled at different times. I have never waited longer then 15 minutes for my appointment. (This is a big pet peeve of mine, my time is as important as the doctor) Dr. Chang's office keeps the office running in a timely manner. If you need to have any type of reconstructive work this is the doctor to see.

12/02/10 5 5 5 5 I was recommended by two different doctors to go to Dr. Chang for reconstruction after breast cancer. The first time I met him, I was convinced he was the doctor for me. At my first consultation he gave me his personal cell phone number in case I had any questions for him. The day of the surgery he came in and talked to me and reassured me that everything would be okay. I think he did a fanatastic job and I would certainly recommend him to any one. I did have to leave my drain in longer than anticipated but that was because I had gone through intensive radiation. The drain came out today and I am so thankful that he was my doctor!!!! He knows his patients by name even when he sees you out of the office. Loved him!

30/07/09 1 1 1 1 I was sent to Dr. Chang from an orthopedic surgeon who "fixed" my dislocated & broken ankle. He had problems with the incision healing. Dr. Chang did a flap/graft procedure to close the incision. I was left with one of the ugliest scars on my ankle. Also, the nerves to my toes were damaged. Three years later, I still have no feeling in my toes. I have stubbed them more than once causing bleeding & did not know because I could not feel it! I would not ever recommend Dr. Chang to anyone. Had I a choice & not been sent by the other doc, I would never have gone myself!

17/03/07 1 2 3 Is he a good doctor? Perhaps. I was disappointed with his office practices. I was taken back to the examination room where I waited for 1.5 hours. He came in and spent, 2 minutes with me. I, too have a antibiotic resistant infection after surgery. What's up with that?

14/12/06 1 2 4 Bright man, knows his patients well...however many many of his patients have resistant infections in their wounds. I don't think this is really his fault, but it would make me not want to be his patient. Also, many of them come back for repeat surgeries.  Respond

18/07/06 1 2 4 Perhaps this should be directed to an office manager, but I feel the doctor could be part of the problem or at least care enough to know about it and improve the situation. On the initial visit I waited 57 minutes for a three minute consultation. On the day of surgery he was 35 minutes late, came in and called for lunch in my presence before starting the procedure. For the stitch removal I waited 77 minutes for a nurse to take out the stitches and then a two minute consultation. People were sitting on the floor in the waiting room that day. I will be mailing a letter to the office with this information. Could it be that they don't know it's happening?
