:) Click to report rating    3/2/10 4 4 5 We've been with Dr.Rabinowitz for over 2 years since my son's birth. Overall I'm pretty happy with the staff and doctors there. Dr.Rabinowitz has been very responsible, never failed to return a phone call. My son had a dental accident on a Saturday after the office was closed. He returned office to see us to save us from unnecessary ER visit. But there is one staff named Cinday that I have problems with. Whenever I tried to leave a message to the doctor or reschedule an appointment, she always tried to "hijack" the call and insert her own opinion. It could be a fuss to get over her.

:( Click to report rating    6/7/09 4 1 1 Had to write in and rate this doctor b/c I went with him after moving to the area and using the reviews to find him.I even met with beforehand to be sure and all seemed well, then our first appt.was terrible! After knowing our feelings about vaccines(in our meeting)he acted completely surprised and annoyed as he scolded us while our baby cried (after waiting nude for about 30 minutes in the office)even though we were very respectful as he rambled on about how we don't know what we're talking about and should let others help us make decisions about our own children, he had absolutely no respect for us as parents, very rude.He acted as if we had no clue to our own child and that he everything.I could go on about the things he said, but no space. That was our first and last visit and we actually switched back to our old doc who we love(Dr. Darren Saks)he is definitely worth the 30 minute trip!We love him and our daughter loves him too.Just wanted to make others would know what to expect here.

:) Click to report rating    4/11/08 4 4 5 Dr. Rabinowitz is an incredible doctor. He answers any question and really listens. Once when my daughter was running a high fever for a week, he personally called to check on her three times. He is very supportive of breastfeeding mothers and gave me the pep-talk I needed when I had some difficulty in the first few weeks. All of the doctors in this practice are very good. Dr. Rabinowitz is top-notch.

:) Click to report rating    1/18/08 4 4 5 Been with Dr. Rabinowitz over 15 years with 4 kids. Top notch, listens, is responsive off hours (as are all of his associates). Also know he is highly regarded by his peers; personal friend who is a pediatrician advised that other pediatricians with challenging cases consult with Dr. Rabinowitz.

:) Click to report rating    10/31/07 3 4 4 My children have been going to this practice for 5 years. I have not had any problems with the doctors, however, the nurse practitioner who works with them seems, to me, lacking in confidence in her skills and diagnoses. My opinion of her comes from 3 experiences. Three out of three times, I have been dissatisfied and brought it to the attention of the office manager. The manager was proactive in trying to resolve this conflict, but in the process, she never seemed to be truly understanding of the situation. She even had the nerve to take an accusatory tone with me which I found to be unprofessional. To be fair, I have never had any other negative experience with anyone else on their staff, so it may very well be that the OM was having a bad day. However, I have found that I am not the only one who has this particular view of the NP. The DOCTORS are patient, courteous, knowledgeable and take the time to speak with the parents.

:) Click to report rating    10/25/07 5 5 5 A terrific doctor and a great person. He has been my son's doctor since birth, and at 17 he still goes to him. Sounds silly, but it's working.

:) Click to report rating    1/28/07 5 5 I have been using Rabinowitz and his practice (Pediatric Group of W.O.) since my daughter was born in 1994. They have always been wonderful, never a problem getting an appointment, never a long wait, never made to feel like "just a nervous mom". I've been able to talk to the doctors on the phone with concerns if I've been unable to get in to the office. My daughter is almost 13 and now insists on seeing Dr. Owens (female) and its never a problem requesting a specific doctor. My son is 1 1/2 and we've seen all the doctors for him and they are all wonderful.

:) Click to report rating    11/1/04 5 5 I switched to Dr. Rabinowitz after a disappointing experience with a group in Livingston, and have never looked back. Dr. Rabinowitz and staff are friendly and professional, great with my kids, and I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes to see him or any of the excellent physicians in the group. Also, he doesn't push antibiotics on you every time you cross his threshhold.
