Dr. Moghadam attended my 93 year old aunt. He extracted her last 6 teeth and placed 2 implants. He was very professional and considerate of her age and nervousness regards this procedure. While she must wait 3 months for her gums to heal prior to getting her new lower dentures, she has had three follow-up appointments gratis to ensure healthy healing. I would recommend this surgeon any time.

Am very grateful I found him, he was much more knowledgeable, and better all-around, than the Drs I had in the US. If you have osteomyelitis, he is the only oral surgeon to see in Ottawa, imho, as is the leader in the area on facial bones and the effects of osteomyelitis. I have also had to have a few extractions of molars and he and his staff have been absolutely wonderful before, during and after the procedure. The only thing I could offer about improvement would be wait times. It seems to be normal to wait upwards of 30 minutes as he always seems to be running behind. It's not a big deal though because once he's with you, you can be guaranteed he'll be focused on your needs. I can highly recommend him for extractions, and osteomyelitis.||Respond|
I had all upper back teeth removed on both sides, leaving only my 6 front teeth. 3 on each side. As part of the same surgery Dr. Moghadam completed sinus lifts, 1 one each side along with 4 implants (2 posts on each side). Waited 6 months to heal. All went well...... Dr M is a capable surgeon....I am very satisfied...... With another dentist I then had bridges installed -- one bridge on each side screwed into the posts -- to have back teeth again.... All good, but, very expensive.
Paid (or co-pay): $12000
Dr Moghadam not only had to remove all four of my wisdom teeth, but also had to deal with one of my second molars stuck under my wisdom tooth. The surgery went perfectly, and to this day I have yet to feel any real pain. I would suggest him to every patient in need of oral surgery, Excellent surgeon. HJN

It was painless and perfect, and they provided a post-op kit that included a dozen items to ensure a healthy and comfortable recovery. I'll definitely be going back for two more implants, a year apart. I can't imagine any other oral surgeon doing a better job, I highly recommend him.||Respond|

To us, he is the best of the best in the field. He is truly passionate about his profession and this is apparent in his office staff selection. True professionals who care.||Respond|

In order to maintain a more healthy, not to mention esthetic look, I opted for implants. Both doctors have a wonderful bedside manner and have dealt very effectively with my extreme phobia and anxiety. Dr M is young, innovative and very well educated on reconstructive surgery with respect to bone and dermis alternatives. Both these doctors will be working with me and my completion of this journey will not be until November 2011!!!! I would recommend both Dr M and Dr Saso over any dentist in Canada!||Respond|
a horrendous experience, biewald refuesed surgery for gingivitis, even though i had referreals from physicians, inflammation and had to go on anti-biotics alot. Told me "it was in my head, he has heard it all before. I wrote a letter to dr. edward allen who quickly decied I would have to have my remaining teeth removed. Referred to Hassan Mogahdam, A year and a half after surgery I have post operative swelling, Four physicians have treated for infections. Dexter Johnson says I need an alveo plasty. Moghadam refuesed. I waited another year hoping the inflammation would subside. So, i go see Butterfield, an xray and 190.00 dollars later, I don't have any infection there is no disfiguring or swelling . The associates seem to pick and choose who is and isn't going to be helped. Four physicians say otherwise. Do not go there, they refuse service and will leave you in pain for years.

It's only because a dentist told me that i might have a tumour under one of them that i finally agreed to go get it checked out. Dr. M isn't over the top friendly or nice, but he is awesome. He was a nice guy, very professional. He wasn't put off by my MANY questions. Even after the surgery when i was high as a kite from the pain killers he took the time to explain the outcome. My teeth were VERY difficult to remove. It took more that 2x as long as it should have. They kept breaking apart due to infection. I could have ended up partially paralyzed. He is a VERY talented surgeon, which is my #1 priority when choosing a surgeon. Not nice like Santa but still very kind.||Respond|
