Had breast aug done May 22/13.Was extremely happy with Dr Toy and staff.Right side a bit more sore, but we all have a side that may bug us. I'm 3 weeks post op. Went with 400 cc smooth round mid profile under muscle.Scars are getting better, have left scar that bit of stitch poking or feels like it is poking but they will dissolve eventually.So far love them, have to get used to them and can't wait to see once they have settled. Would recommend Dr Toy any time

I'm still on my first week but pleased with my results for now. I must say i was not happy with the nursing staff at the royal Alex but this is something Dr Toy has no control off. I will sure recommend him for any person who wishes to have this type of surgery int he future. He us very knowledgeable and sure knows what he is doing. My cost share was $6800 | See Responses |

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Toy and his office staff. From my first phone call to book my appointment to meeting Dr. Toy for my initial consultation I was very happy. None of my questions were left unanswered. I booked my surgery that day and felt very comfortable going with him. He was very thorough in explaining what was going to happen and what to expect after surgery. I saw him the day after surgery and he was so far happy with my results and I am too. I would highly recommend Dr. Toy. Yes I had to wait maybe 15 minutes in the waiting room each visit but I will just assume he was going over everything his patient could expect. I had a body lift, breast reduction, had my abs tightened, and had a breast lift, and 3 other procedures, on 24 January 2012. Dr Toy was professional, honest, on time, answered all my questions, and made me feel very comfortable with my surgery. I lost over 200lbs after a gastric bypass and after Dr Toy was done, I have a flat tummie for the first time in over 30 years. The only surprise is that after 9 months I still have some numbness in my abs. I would recommend this surgery and Dr Toy in a heartbeat. He has truly changed my life for the better.

I knew nothing of this doc but decided to make my own opinion by booking a few consults with different docs to decide which would be the best for my breast augmentation. Well dr toy was my first consult and that explains it all. He was really thorough with explaining my options size and how the precedure would go. He made me feel soo comfortable that by the end of the appt I had no reason to go else where he was in fact the doctor I wanted to do my BA. So I booked my surgery. I was extremely nervous but felt like I was in fact in good hands. Iam now 6 days post op and all I can say is wow he did an amazing job on my boobs. They are still ofcourse in the healing process but look so amazing now. He def gave me exactly what I wanted and expected. I have minimal bruising and the pain was also very minimal. He must be soo gentle while doin the procedure. I recommend this doc a 100 percent to any ladies wanting a BA:) | See Responses |

I am scheduled for breast augmentation surgery soon and so far I have had a great experience with Dr Toy and his staff. He is very personable and helpful. I cannot wait for my surgery. I only have one concern, I did have to quit smoking for my surgery, I did quit for the recomended 4 weeks prior, but I am wondering if a nicotine test will be done the day of surgery, I am worried nicotine will still show up as i do live with a smoker, anyone know if Dr. Toy performs this type of test...

Went for a consultation for breast augmentation with mastoplexy. Dr. Toy was late (but they all are). He went through the procedure, different implants, different options, and was extremely thorough and informative. He explained why my surgery would be a little more challenging but was excited to work on me. The girls at the front were a little more difficult to get answers out of, but it seems that is the industry as I had more issues with other surgeons. I have my surgery booked and actually feel 100% comfortable where usually I worry and second guess. I will follow up on here after April.

I went for a Consultation and when I walked into the office there was not a sole there. There was nobody at the front desk to great me. Not off to a great start! When I met Dr Toy, he wasn't super personable, although nice enough. During my Consultation Dr. Toy didn't have me change into a gown, which was strange. After I went home and got my quote I noticed that my quote for an Arm Lift wasn't on there (my arms had been shown and discussed). I emailed the office TWICE asking about it. Finally got an email back saying that Dr. Toy didn't think we had dicussed Arms. He wanted me to make another appointment to see him. I emailed back saying I didn't think I should have to make another appt. for something that was already discussed (especially living outside of Edmonton). Never heard back from them! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I will be going elsewhere for my surgery. | Respond |

Dr. Toy was very informative as to what to expect during and after the surgery. He was very friendly and had a great bedside manner His staff was extreamly helpful and friendly. On the day of surgery I was very nervous and there was this lady that workes there she came up to me and talked me through it and told me everything was going to be ok I wish I could remember her name but to her I thank her. He made me feel very comfortable and went through every detail with me, so I decided to go through with it. It has now been 3 weeks and I am extremely happy with my results. Every nurse and doctor thay has seen my incision has said he did an amazing job,my incision scar is minimal! 4/4/11 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I had a breast reduction just over 2 weeks ago that was done by Dr. Toy. The results are amazing!! I was a 34K previous to my surgery and was aiming to become a 34D. Dr. Toy removed well over 2.5 pounds off of my breasts (in mostly skin), and managed to do so, with the smallest of incisions. I will have little to no scarring once I am healed. He was a great Dr. throughout the whole process. He was very helpful and informative so I never had any doubt that he would do a great job. I was comfortable with him and his abilitites right from day one. I had my follow up appointment a few days ago where he removed the steri-strips and gave me very detailed aftercare instructions as well. I havent been able to stop smiling since the day of my reduction because this whole experience has been so great for me. The staff in his office are very nice and helpful as well. Dr. Toy performed a complete lower body lift and brachioplasty on me, and in a month I will be having a breast reduction and lift along with an inner thigh lift done by Dr. Toy. This is all after losing 160 lbs post gastric bypass. Dr. Toy was incredibly helpful where many plastic surgeons in Edmonton were not, in fact he was my last hope before going to Mexico and I am so glad to have found him. He is skilled, friendly and knowledgeable. He has always been prompt, timely and fit me in many times last minute. Dr. Toy's staff have gone above and beyond for me, the women are so helpful and friendly. Dr. Toy was knowledgeable on how to help me maneuver through Alberta Health Care and what would have cost me approximately 70 k was brought down to 27k. I can't find a single negative thing to say about Dr. Toy and his practice. Thanks a million! Highly recommended to all, very skilled with major weight loss body contouring.

He is an fantastic docter and is very knowledgeable! His quote was a little high compared to the one I received in Calgary but this seems to be the average range for Edmonton ($10,000), was only $7500.00 in Calgary. Not only did he ensured that I knew excactly what I was getting into but he always asked if there were any questions I had. Dr Toy has a very pleasant personality and always has a smile on his face. The outcome was nothing short of a masterpiece.. my breasts looks so natural, the incision is barely even visable and overall did a superb job. Since this surgery was covered by Alberta Health for me, I only expected the bare reduction to be done in regards to service but I found that he went above and behond to ensure they looked good afterwards. I wanted to Thank him afterwards for making my life so much better but he is such a busy man that I only seen him briefly for my follow up appointment. I would recomment this doctor a thousand times and would say he will become the best plastic surgeon of this city in no time | See Responses |
