Dr.Z is a great doc and very knowledgeable. She is really smart and caring. She diagnosed my problem right away when i saw her for the first time. Now im feeling so much better thanks her. The staff is good but the magazines are kind of outdated. Overall it's always a good experience seeing her. Highly recommended.

Dr. Zaniewski-Singh is the best physician I have ever been to. She has excellent diagnostic skills and is very kind and caring. I am continually impressed and grateful for the level of detail and empathy that is given to me as her patient. The pharmaceutical treatment perscribed for my hypthyroidism has made an immediate difference in the quality of my life. I had been to 3 physicians previously that had no clue of what was going on. I now know what a quality physician is and that is Dr. Zaniewski-Singh.

On her own she seems to be competent. However She saw me personally after 2 Yrs. The Staff there keeps on changing frequently, so they really do not know what is going on.I am on an Insulin Pump & I was prescribed wrong medication which I unknowingly took for almost 3 months. When I questioned the Clinic, they accused me of complaining & stopped seeing me. I am going to complaint to the Medical Board for Malpractice & Negligience. Someone os going to die because of their incompetence.

Dr. Z doest not see you on your first visit, i think thats a scam to make more money so you have to come back the second time around, who has time for that, they also make you do a bunch of extra blood work which i believe they get a cut of the earnings. if you wanna see a good doctor who does not waste your time and money and BLOOOD then look else where..on the other hand if you are workers comp and are not paying for anything then shes the gal for you. she also only cares about aesthetic practice, i never had a single mark or pimple on my face but she advised to get a skin resurfacing laser treatment. wtf??

Dr. Z apparently is having physical problems recently so I hope things improve for her. Her PA (Katie) is the most wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful woman I've encountered in my 50 years. However, Dr. Z seems to be hurried and distracted and gave advice that was harmful and instructed me to see a dietician that was constantly interruptive and dismissive when I needed help the most. See The nurse gave me dangerously inaccurate information on insulin care and I only found out after contacting the manufacturer. Patient beware.

I stopped seeing dr.zaniewski because i felt like she did not care one way or the other about my medical condition. She has horrible bedside manner-she made me sign a contract to pay for an office visit i had cancelled 2 days prior to the visit-she claimed she had no record of the call and made me promise in writing that i would pay it.some of the staff were okay but a couple acted like they had no knowledge of what was going on. One lady told me after waiting an hour and 1/2 that they were still confirming w/my insurance company and told me to go sit back down-and i waited another 20minutes while she waited on other people then called. but i too had an ultrasound done and told i had a nodule on my thyroid-they biopsied it but when it was time to get the results, i happen to be in the hospital getting a blood transfusion and was told i couldnt get my results over the phone and did not allow me to discuss it w/dr even under those circumstances.i could come in 2wks.i fired her.

Good at the science of taking care of people, but not necessarily the art. She diagnosed my thyroid problem after it was manhandled by a few other doctors and is one of very few in Houston who runs a special test that helped me get a Dx, but her bedside manner stinks. You never see a doctor, just a PA. I don't really mind as long as I get care, but, I am looking around for someone new to help me maintain my illness since we are past the Dx phase. I will agree that they seem to run excessive ultrasounds. Someone's post about everyone having a nodule is kind of making me wonder, although I actually saw a picture of mine on there.

I have been seeing this doctor for over a year now. I have had to wait two hours for an appointment, and the shortest wait time I have had is 45 minutes. She recently cut the hours she sees patients by about an hour a day. If she were truly committed to handling her enormous workload, she would have at least maintained her hours of operation, not shortened them. Additionally I am constantly told the reasons I cannot lose weight have to do with my diet and exercise level when I follow a diet high in fiber and protein, and completely free from animal fats and refined carbs. Plus I'm a runner! My most recent problem has come with requests for refills from my pharmacy only being partially filled, or even better, not responded to at all. The doctor's office claims the pharmacy did not contact them, but the pharmacy has detailed records of when they contacted her office and well, they have a better track record with me. After my next appointment (so I can get my meds updated) I'm leaving!

I believe Dr. Zaniewski is tops in her field of endocrinology, as a physician and researcher. Her patient load is vast, due to the shortage of good endocrinologists in the Houston area. So if you are willing to wait, and insist on seeing her (and not the PA or NP), you will be well taken care of by someone who makes a tremendous, in-depth attempt to properly diagnose and treat thyroid problems. One wonders why there are so many thyroid problems in the Houston area, however.

I too am going to report this "doctor". Going to her has been the biggest waste of time and money. They care nothing about the patient; only how much money they can suck out of you (making you go for unneccessary tests and repeated office visits - most of which I never saw the "doctor" for). The staff is rude, but I can't say the same for the doctor since I never see her! I would NOT reccommend this doctor. Please read the other postings; everyone who had a bad experience is saying the same thing...NOT a coincidence!!! I have never left a doctor's office upset and stressed out until I went there.

I had seen other endocrinologists and they seemed confused by the fluctuation in my thyroid levels. On the first visit her NP took a long time with me and explained what the problem was. She helped me more than the doctors I saw before. On the second visit I met the doctor. She was wonderful. Now I understand what is going on and I have a plan to fix this problem. I am soooo glad that I made that appointment.

OMG---AWFUL!!!! They charged my insurance company $250 and I never got to see the doctor. I saw the PA who was not helpful and just pushed me out the door and told me things would be resolved on my second visit. HUGE waste of time and money! I am being treated by my GP for hypothyroidism and he's doing a wonderful job. No need to see this doctor AT ALL! Also, at my visit, the PA took over an HOUR to even get to me and she only did at the point because I was asking for a refund of my co-pay so I could LEAVE! I'm jumping on the bandwagon to file complaints as well.

I believe that Dr. Zaniewski is educated; however, her bedside manner and utilization of her knowledge to heal the patient are completely lacking. Her treatment is driven by insurance and overuse of pharmaceutical drugs. I left her office when I fired her as my doctor, in tears. A doctor I later visited said that every patient that had come to their office after visiting Zaniewski was told they had a cyst on their thyroid. There were so many of these patients that were misdiagnosed. The later doctor said it was an absolute statistical impossibility. Patients who are treated for hormonal imbalance are often made to feel as if they are crazy or little can be done. Do your research and keep trying doctors until you find one interested in healing you and providing solutions for health and wellness. You are not crazy, just imbalanced!

Dr.Z is really helpful. She actually listens to you and I've had problems with doctors listening to what I have to say. She is really knowledgable and there are so many certificates and awards hung up on her walls. She was rated in houston's top docs. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a wait in the waiting room but I don't mind waiting as long as I am getting good service and when it comes to my health, i am ready to wait. I am impressed with her knowledge and experience.

i do not recommend her at all. she is a selfish doctor, she only cares about her cosmetic unit and not about endocrinology. I got charged twice and when i confronted her about it, she acted like she didn't care. She told me to talk to the insurance guy, but the insurance guy could not even talk english, his accent is so heavy. It has been 4 months and still have not received my money back. All that i can say about her is that she is a rip off and if you care about your many then i suggest you do not go to her. Also her waiting time is too long. I had to wait an hour before being helped and when they did, the receptionist told me that i was not on the schedule list. That got me mad, because i had received a confirmation call the day after and then i was taken off the list. This is the worst practice i have ever been too. So if you want to save your money and time, do not go to her.

THIS IS THE WORST AND MOST UNKNOWLEDGEABLE DOCTOR I HAVE EVER MET. SHE IS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT HER COSMETICS THAN ENDOCRINOLOGY. MY DAUGHTER GOT HER LASER HAIR REMOVAL DONE AND MOST OF THE HAIR IS GROWING BACK AND SHE HAS BURN MARKS SOME PLACES. THE GUY P.J SINGH WHO DID MY DAUGHTERS LASER HAS NO KNOWLEDGE AT ALL. BEAWARE HE WILL BURN YOUR SKIN AND SCAR IT. I DONT WANT TO GO IN DETAILS BUT BE AWARE ABOUT HER. SHE IS THE WORST AND VERY FAKE DOCTOR. YOU CANT EVEN SEE HER ON YOUR FIRST VISIT, YOU HAVE TO SEE THE PA'S 1ST. WHAT KIND OF BS IS THAT??? NO OTHER DOCTOR DOES THAT. AND I HAD TO WAIT IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR MORE THAN A HOUR AND WHEN IT WAS MY TURN THEY SAID THAT I WASNT IN THE SCHEDULE AND WHEN SOME ONE FROM THE OFFICE CALLED ME THE DAY BEFORE TO CONFIRM MY APPOINTMENT. I TELL YOU THIS DOCTOR SHOULD NOT BE IN PRACTICE. I AM ALSO FILING A COMPLAINT AGAINST HER. I AM GOING TO REPORT HER TO THE BOARD.

I did not see the doctor on my first visit, I was only prescribed bloodwork. The visit before my last she told me what my options were:1)iodine pill2)hormones3)removal4)heart attack and die. I chose the iodine and she explained to me that I couldn't be near my child or husband. I teach kindergarten so I would need to take a Friday off because the effects of radiation last 72 hours. Nobody in her office could call in the pill that day so they were going to call it in the next day and I should get it the next Friday. Nobody called me. They called me the next Thursday to set an appt. I told them if the doctor wanted to see me before the iodine pill, they said yes. I got worried because I had had another bloodwork the day she prescribed the iodine pill. When I went to see her she started prescribing ptu, and when I told her I had not received the iodine, she looked surprise and by reading my file she couldn't tell if I had received it neither if it had been called in.IRRESPONSIBLE!

I never saw the doctor because I didn't go back to my second appointment. On the first visit, it is required that you see the PA, who orders tests and everyone gets the same tests, not matter what their issue- it's almost like a patient mill. I had a serious problem, yet I was told to do all these tests that I had done the previous week at my PCP's office. They did not want to use those results and wanted all the tests repeated. The doctor's husband is very nice, but the quality of care in that facility is lacking. I went to another doctor who accepted the tests I had already done, ordered a few more and referred me to oncologist because of malignancy. I would have never found it had I waited for this doctor to decide to see me. I do not recommend unless you are there for cosmetic procedures, which she seems to care more about. Find another doctor.

Regarding the Dr.'s office: I was informed that new patients cannot see Dr. Zaniewski on their first visit, even when requested. I was told I would see a PA, but assured by the office staff that the PA was very knowledgeable and would be able to adjust meds, etc. After an hour and 15 mins of waiting in the exam room, I found out that everything rested on my SECOND visit! Even though I provided current lab work and u/s results, the PA told me to come back in a month because Dr. Zaniewski would have to be the one to change dosage, order ultrasounds, etc. At the time, I could barely swallow due to a thyroid disorder and I had a lot of swelling my neck area. Wait a month??? I filed a complaint with my medical insurance.
